I have had this for about a year,  gradually repaired everything that was wrong with it, with the exception of a few things left

Car has... New trunk floor from C2C, rear quarters under what was the washboards have been replaced with metal patch panels welded in,
New Gas Tank, New fuel pump, new fuel lines, new water pump, a rebuilt Holley 4 bbl carb, new plugs, points, condensor, wires and cap. a New 1 wire alternator. New ignition switch,

I have changed the leaky original slave cylinder style power steering with a new Borgeson power steering conversion box, new flaming river steering column and a new Flaming river waterfall steering wheel.
Also changed the original drum brakes on the front to Power disc kit from Scarebird industries.

The interior has been updated with 65 Thunderbird seats, non power, and the original rear seat,  The console is from a 1972 Oldsmobile 442 with the Oldsmobile floor shifter connected to the cruise-omatic trans.
New Carpet kit all new interior in very good quality vinyl. done by a locally famous upholstery shop here in Grants Pass Oregon.
The car has new 15" tires with a one inch whitewall, wheels had to be up sized from the original 14" to clear the disc brake calipers,  it has a full set of spider center covers and beauty rings
A nice set of original Starliner fender skirts and I will also include a pair of new dummy spotlights.

Starliner has been brought to the first step towards paint,  it is a epoxy primer on top of 80 grit final sanding,  It will need blocking and final paint

It has a new heater core and temp control for the heater.  Original radio I did not bother to re connect,  The dash and all interior pieces has been removed and painted Flame red,  it also has a brand new
Padded dash cap. No speaker was installed when I put the dash back in the car.
The passengers side front fender had to be repaired (Not a real good fit)  but I now have a stamped repair panel when it does get replaced.
There is NO rust in the floors, trunk or body panels anywhere that I found.  at least not any more.

The windshield and passengers door glass are both cracked.  I have a new windshield rubber seal and a new back glass window seal.  both need to be replaced.

The 352 is the original engine and purrs like a kitten with almost instant starts,  trans shifts like it is supposed to.   Right now the only things left are replacing the seals and glass, straightening the little dents in the fender stainless, rechrome the bumpers and have the new headliner installed. ( If I receive the rear seal before it sells I will have the new headliner installed as it evidently has to go under the front and rear seals.
It has 2" lowering blocks in the rear and `1 coil removed from the front.
Any questions , just ask, I will answer as soon as I can
'
I reserve the right to remove this auction at any time as it is for sale locally

On Aug-17-13 at 17:53:04 PDT, seller added the following information:

I added some more photo's...  Remember this is an original motor and drivetrain,  I WAS going to just clean it up a bit and drive it as a survivor,   I did not do any cleaning or painting under the hood with the exception of the Borgeson steering box and the new Master cylinder/booster, of course the new brake lines, new fuel pump and water pump etc.  Trunk is dusty from the epoxy overspray.

Ford vandalizes the SEMA Show floor with 2014 Transit Connect

Tue, 05 Nov 2013

The Ford booth here at SEMA is practically a 1970s throwback with all these customized vans sitting front and center. And we're completely fine with that. Take the black and yellow (black and yellow, black and yellow) 2014 Transit Connect from Mobsteel above. It's got a great stance, sits on steel wheels and has a pretty cool paint job and graphics package to boot.
Of course, that's not the only van you can see at the Ford booth. In fact, there are 10 Transit Connect vans on display from Ford here at SEMA, and you can see them all in our live gallery of high-res images above. Then, if you want to know more about each specific model, feel free to scroll down to read all about these vans in the official press release from Ford.

Watch how a Ford Raptor rolls down the assembly line in Dearborn

Sun, 30 Mar 2014

Bloomberg TV reporter Matt Miller is the proud new owner of a pretty killer truck. How do we know? The reporter headed to Dearborn, MI to Ford's assembly plant, with a film crew in tow, to see exactly how his new F-150 SVT Raptor and its mother-loving 6.2-liter V8 engine, was screwed together.
The resulting video does an excellent job of summing up how an assemblage of parts and pieces is turned into a triple-black Raptor, thanks to the work of some 1,000 employees and about 20 hours of real time. Click through below to see how the truck is born, with a surprise cameo playing the part of delivery driver at the end.

One Step at a Time
Nearly every flavor of exotic driveline has been shoved into the ubiquitous Ford at some point or another.
Chuck Schwynoch had been patiently listening to my ramblings on the other end of the phone for a solid half hour. I'm not too big of a man to know when to ask for help, and at this point, I desperately needed some assistance. The truth is, working on a machine like a Fox Body Mustang is as easy as breathing thanks to the wealth of information available on the web. Nearly every flavor of exotic driveline has been shoved into the ubiquitous Ford at some point or another, and odds are the sorry souls behind those builds shared the highs and lows of their torment with the internet community.
