2007 Ford Fusion Se Sedan 4-door 3.0l on 2040-cars
Orwell, Ohio, United States
This is a great car, and the AWD is an amazing
feature. We live in the snow belt, and often see accumulation close to a foot.
I have never gotten stuck with this car, and it is very solid on snowy roads.
Our old truck recently departed for the great junkyard in the sky, and we
couldn't afford to keep the car and buy a new truck, so unfortunately, the car
has to go. It can do a lot of things, but it can't pull a livestock trailer or
haul hay. We bought this car Ford Certified used, it was a lease trade in, and
had less than 14000 on it. I took great care of this car; all oil changes on
time with synthetic blend, regular maintenance, tire rotation, etc. It has the
6 disk CD changer, which was a huge selling point for me, and I have never had
a problem with it. I was in an accident a couple years ago; I was rear ended in
a low speed collision. It was a bumper replace, no other damage. We had it
fixed at the Ford dealership. The windshields were also replaced at the Ford
dealership a few years back; the front had a stone chip, but then something (we
have no idea what, but think it was a big rock from a passing truck) fell
through the back window, so I had them both done at the same time since the
insurance was paying for both. There is the original spare that I have never
used, the back seats flip down making it able to haul really big items. It gets
really good gas mileage, even in town, and it has a huge gas tank. Now that I
drive a full size truck on a regular basis, I miss the gas mileage on my
Fusion...a lot. This is mechanically sound, no leaks, no problems that I am aware of. We just had it to a Ford mechanic a couple weeks ago, it checked out good, but they recommended the transmission hoses be replaced, so we had that done. The pictures are from late summer, but we are putting it up for
sale now because we were waiting to see if we could keep the car and buy a new
truck, but we can't. We drove it to Pittsburgh a couple days ago and it runs like a dream, so no problems. Someone is getting a really good car, and
they are going to be vary happy with it. We bought this because at the time, it
was a much cheaper option than a 4x4 truck or jeep. I am sure someone will be
as happy with this car as I was. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
Unfortunately, I have had some bad experiences selling little things on Ebay like books and stuff. I
have never sold a car before, I am hoping everyone is more honest about it, but, if you don't have a good buyer rating, or if
you have a history of not paying, or other problems, I will delete your bid. I
will require a deposit within 24 hours, and the balance due within 3 days.
There will be no arrangements made to pick up the car until the balance has
been paid in full. I will accept cash, cashiers check, or paypal. There is NO lien on the vehicle, it is payed off. |

Watch Tanner Foust hustle the Fiesta ST 'round the 'Ring
Mon, 15 Jul 2013The last time we saw Tanner Foust at the Nürburgring he was sloshing an SVT Raptor from kerb to kerb. Sticking with Ford but swapping keys, this time the drift champion and Top Gear USA host goes to the opposite end of the manufacturer's tuner garage and plucks a Fiesta ST for 'Ring duty.
The 179-horsepower front-wheel-driver acquits itself well by the end of the video. But be warned, Foust doesn't set a 'Ring time and it's shot like a commercial... because that's what it is. Still, you can enjoy all two minutes and 31 seconds of it below.
Ken Block hoons his Ford F-150 RaptorTrax on the slopes
Wed, 08 Oct 2014Ken Block drives Fords. Hoons the heck out of 'em, actually. Mostly Fiestas, but also the occasional Focus or Mustang. But earlier this year, the Gymkhana guru revealed his baddest Ford yet: an F-150 SVT Raptor on tracks. And true to form, here he is putting it to the test in the latest video from Monster Energy and Hoonigan Racing.
Filmed at Baldface Lodge in Nelson, BC, the video pairs Block up with snowboarders Zak Hale and Ethan Deiss for some deep-powder action. You'll want to watch the video for yourself, but the bottom line is that the RaptorTrax beats the heck out of waiting on line for the ski lift. It's enough to make us start to look forward to winter... almost.
A 1985 Ford Escort for $915,000? If it was owned by Princess Diana
Sun, Sep 3 2023What makes a used car worth more than the car itself? If it was owned by John Lennon. Or Muhammad Ali. Michael Schumacher, perhaps, or Stirling Moss. This year’s edition from the Hagerty organization of its “Power List” makes for amusing reading even if youÂ’re not on it. But you can make believe that you are. Essentially, the list, which was launched only last year, tracks the impact of celebrity ownership of a vehicle on its value, as measured by its worth at auction. Nearly 400 sales of celebrity cars and bikes have been analyzed from around the world by Hagerty using market data and “expert” analytics. Hagerty is aware, certainly, that famous folks — from royalty, sports, movies and music — grab gobs of attention from ordinary people. ThatÂ’s why the 2023 Power List comprises these categories: Art Cars, Racing Drivers, Movies and TV, Musicians, Royalty, Screen Stars, Sporting Icons. But you don't have to be a rock star or a F1 pilot to get listed: Princess Diana, besides an Escort Turbo RS that she owned between 1985 and 1988, numbered a convertible 1994 Audi 80 Cabriolet and a Jaguar XJS Cabriolet among her rides. HereÂ’s a look at some of the more notable entries: Racing driver category: In pole position was an unlikely titleholder, a 1976 Ford Bronco. This was the car bought new by legendary Canadian Formula 1 driver Gilles Villeneuve and untouched since his death; it sold at the Aguttes auction in Paris last December for $148,000, a huge 210% increase over the $47,800 that Hagerty would value a regular example in the same condition. Just a note: The list doesnÂ’t include race cars, only vehicles kept privately by the drivers. Musicians: A 1974 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow had been Freddie MercuryÂ’s personal chauffeur-driven transport from 1979 until his death in 1991. Without celebrity ownership, Hagerty would value the Silver Shadow at a lowly $9,500, a car that would take a lot of time, effort and money to restore properly. But add in MercuryÂ’s aura and bids ended at $362,500. “ItÂ’s no surprise that MercuryÂ’s car dominated our Musicians list on the 2023 Hagerty Power List,” the company said. Movies and TV: For those readers now emerging from hibernation since 1968, the news is that the historic Highland Green Mustang from “Bullitt” remains at the top of the Power List for the second year running.
