We are Autoteam Car Rental of South Amboy, NJ.  We rebuild about 40 fairly new Fords, (mostly Ford Focus) per year and use it in our rental fleet. Roberto is our highly skilled body repairman who does the all the repairs on our cars. As you can see with this car, Roberto does great work!  We purchase our vehicles directly from insurance companies and performed our repairs only with original ford OEM parts. We usually keep our cars for about 3 years in the rental fleet. When we purchased this vehicle, we didn't realize it had so many options! A car with all these options are not suitable for a rental fleet since we can not rent it for any additional money. But since the damage to this car was minor, we decided to repair the car and put it up for sale for much less (thousands) then you may expect to pay. This car has never been in our rental fleet, it is basically brand new!

**** VEHICLE HAS UNDERGONE A NJ STATE INSPECTION AND WAS ISSUED A REBUILT TITLE WHICH IS AS GOOD AS A

CLEAR TITLE BUT WITH A SALVAGE HISTORY AND CAN BE TITLED ANYWHERE IN THE U.S OR CANADA.******

*** DAMAGE BEFORE THE REPAIR INCLUDES: front bumper, right headlight, right fender, hood and fight front door. We also replaced the drivers and drivers knee airbag. This car was only salvage branded for the airbags. Nothing structual damaged.

We have performed Cosmetic replacements only. A wonderful job was done on the installation and paint.   Vehicle is back to its A+ form. --No damage at all to engine, transmission, etc. It is now ready for sale and is in great condition!

I have no problem if you want to have the vehicle inspected anywhere or sending someone before auction ends.

Don’t miss out on this Focus – It’s like new!  Save $$$$!!

Please have finance ready prior to bidding.

Any questions regarding this vehicle, please do not hesitate to contact

Ford reflects on radical Mustang concept that never reached showrooms

Tue, 25 Jun 2013

The Ford Mustang that we all know and love made major waves in the auto industry way back in 1964 by offering style and reasonable pricing with optional V8 power. Its long hood and short rear deck, combined with a low-slung and sporty cockpit, made a lasting impression in the minds of consumers and car designers alike, and its basic shape has so endured the test of time that it's still in use today.
This being the case, you may be interested to know that the first Mustang of 1964.5 wasn't actually the first Mustang at all, being preceded by a concept car that made its public debut in 1962. This concept was nothing like the car that would eventually make it into production, with a radical wedge shape and a small V4 engine sitting behind the car's two occupants, driving the rear wheels. In other words, the conceptual Mustang was pretty much the complete opposite of the production Mustang besides the name.
Ford has kindly decided go through its massive archive to bring the original Mustang concept back into the public eye. The company goes so far as to pose this question to fans of the pony car: "Should we borrow a few of these style elements for the next iteration of the Mustang?" Check out our image gallery above and then let 'em know what you think in the Comments below.

Recharge Wrap-up: Tesla considers Model III SUV and wagon, Ford tears Tesla apart

Mon, Oct 27 2014

Worries over Brazil's electric grid mean EVs are excluded from green car incentives. As part of a new efficiency program, non-plug-in hybrids will be eligible for a reduction in import duties, while EVs and plug-in hybrids will not. Brazil's government is concerned that the country's grid lacks the capacity to handle the increased load from an influx of EVs. Brazil plans to create a new incentive program - perhaps a more inclusive one - when the current one expires at the end of 2015. Read more at Green Car Reports. Tesla could make SUV and wagon derivatives of the upcoming Model III sedan. Tesla's VP of engineering, Chris Porritt, told Auto Express that to reach as many customers as possible, Tesla would consider all its options. "SUVs, estates - who knows?" says Porritt. He also says that while the company is currently focused on products with a broader appeal, another Roadster or other sports car aren't out of the question in the future. Read more at Auto Express. Ford admits to a Tesla Model S teardown. Ford CEO Mark Fields says that after disassembling, reassembling and driving the model S, his company is "very familiar with that product." He also says the Ford has the capability to build a similarly high-tech, long-range electric car. The questions still remains if Ford has plans for such a vehicle, but Fields says that it fits within Ford's "product philosophy." Read more at Business Insider and at USA Today.
