Beautiful ride, only 3,400 miles.  Fun to drive.  Car was bought from an Insurance Auction with light damage to the front.  The vehicle lot drove when we received it.  It did not even break the radiator or  condenser.  The airbags did not blow either.  Very little work was needed in the repair of this car.  But it was labeled as a Salvage by the State of Virginia.  Car was professionally repaired 200 miles ago.  This is known as the ST3 version, or the ST with all of the options.  We have bought and sold 16 wrecked 2012-2013 Focus' in the past year with no problems.  Here is the window sticker that came off the car.

Our phone number at the shop is (616) 669-2226.  Email me for a cell phone number.

We have been in business in 22 years, family owned.

The sticker price on this car is $30,320.  Get it here for $20,300.

I use this eBay listing for an outlet for advertising this vehicle.  The car can be seen at Hudsonville Transmission in Hudsonville, MI.  We are on the West side of Michigan.  I am firm on the price, I know that it does have a rebuilt title, but you cannot tell the car has been damaged or repaired.  I recommend checking the vehicle out before making a decision as always with internet sales of this caliber.  I also have pictures of the previous damage if you want to see those.

NOTE: The vehicle came with HID headlamps, we installed the Halogen headlamps due to the old headlamps being damaged.  This does not affect the functionality of the lighting, all of the wiring going to the headlamps are the same from HID to Halogen.  For the price stated you will get the car with Halogen lamps.  If you want the HID lamps back in it, I have one for the car, but I would need to purchase the drivers side HID lamp, at my cost from the dealer for $1400.  If you want the old HID lamp from the passenger side and wait it out to find a drivers side lamp, you are welcome to have the old lamp and use it or sell it as you wish.

Questions? I would love to answer them.  My number

Ford Mustang was almost 'Imported from Detroit'

Wed, Oct 7 2015

The Ford Mustang achieved iconic status nearly the moment the sheet came off at the 1964 World's Fair. And if Henry Ford II wasn't getting divorced around that time, the pony car might have been called the Torino and been marketed as 'Imported from Detroit,' according to Automotive News. We'll explain. During research for the new book Once in a Great City: A Detroit Story, author David Maraniss found an interesting connection between Chrysler's (now FCA US) slogan and the Ford Mustang. Before the pony car even had a name, the Blue Oval's advertising agency had the idea to market it as a "brand new import ... from Detroit," according to Automotive News. The vehicle would be sold as "inspired by Italy's great road cars, but straight from Detroit." The name Torino was suggested, as well. However, the real world interfered in making the Mustang Detroit's first import. According to the author, Henry Ford II was getting a divorce, and his future wife was Italian. It was therefore thought to be a bad idea to sell the future pony car as being from Italy. Things clearly changed by the time the Torino hit the streets years later. Related Video:

A closer look at the 2015 Ford F-150

Thu, 16 Jan 2014

Despite having to share Ford's Detroit Auto Show stand with the hot new 2015 Mustang, the brand-new F-150 was arguably an even more important debut. Why? Ford moved some 700,000 examples of its F-Series truck in 2012, making it not only the best-selling pickup truck, but the top-selling vehicle in the US, by a long-shot.
The 2015 F-150 raises the bar for pickup trucks in a big way, with big-time use of aluminum. Because of this, roughly 700 pounds have been removed from the truck's overall weight, making it even more efficient than before, while still offering all of the capability that pickup owners expect. And with a host of engines under the hood, including a new 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6, the 2015 F-150 will surely offer something for everyone.
During the Detroit Auto Show, west coast editor Michael Harley took a closer look at the new F-150, talking to some of the truck's engineers. Have a look at the full video, below.

Ford fights back against patent trolls

Fri, Feb 13 2015

Some people are just awful. Some organizations are just as awful. And when those people join those organizations, we get stories like this one, where Ford has spent the past several years combatting so-called patent trolls. According to Automotive News, these malicious organizations have filed over a dozen lawsuits against the company since 2012. They work by purchasing patents, only to later accuse companies of misusing intellectual property, despite the fact that the so-called patent assertion companies never actually, you know, do anything with said intellectual property. AN reports that both Hyundai and Toyota have been victimized by these companies, with the former forced to pay $11.5 million to a company called Clear With Computers. Toyota, meanwhile, settled with Paice LLC, over its hybrid tech. The world's largest automaker agreed to pay $5 million, on top of $98 for every hybrid it sold (if the terms of the deal included each of the roughly 1.5 million hybrids Toyota sold since 2000, the company would have owed $147 million). Including the previous couple of examples, AN reports 107 suits were filed against automakers last year alone. But Ford is taking action to prevent further troubles... kind of. The company has signed on with a firm called RPX, in what sounds strangely like a protection racket. Automakers like Ford pay RPX around $1.5 million each year for access to its catalog of patents, which it spent nearly $1 billion building. "We take the protection and licensing of patented innovations very seriously," Ford told AN via email. "And as many smart businesses are doing, we are taking proactive steps to protect against those seeking patent infringement litigation." What are your thoughts on this? Should this patent business be better managed? Is it reasonable that companies purchase patents only to file suit against the companies that build actual products? Have your say in Comments.
