You are viewing a very nice 2012 Ford Focus SE. It has the 2.0L 4 Cylinder Engine that runs good with an automatic transmission that shifts perfect. I bought this car for my 18 yr old daughter only to find out soon after that she wanted blue. So we have driven it some but have since bought her a ’13 Focus in Sonic blue. We now need to sell this Focus that is such a great car. We took it on vacation to Myrtle Beach, SC in June and it got 40 MPG on the way out and 41 MPG on the way back. Just before going on vacation we had the Focus serviced and filters changed. Also had 2 new tires put on the front. This great Focus runs & drives perfect. Everything works great on the car including the Air Conditioning, Cruise Control, radio, etc. This Focus has a salvage title because I bought it from an insurance auction in New Orleans. It had been hit very light in the passenger’s headlight. It did NOT touch the frame of the car at all. Nor did any of the airbags go off. We bought all genuine Ford parts and had a very reputable body shop in our town repair it. If you look very closely you can see very small hail dings on the 2 black replaceable roof rails and the driver’s side doors. You really have to get the light just right to see the dings on the doors. That is why the car is listed as no reserve and much below similar cars. This is a GREAT car that I would drive anywhere. We do reserve the right to end the auction early as it is for sale in my front yard. Also, I own an auto transport business and we can haul the car to you on one of my trucks for a discounted rate. Please call or email if you have any questions. 660-626-6429 Thanks for looking. God Bless!! |

Ford acquires Livio to bolster connectivity biz
Thu, 26 Sep 2013Ford Motor Company has announced the acquisition of Livio, a Ferndale, MI-based software development company best known for aftermarket in-car connectivity devices, but also as a supplier of technology for proprietary systems for automakers. Livio, co-founded by Sigal and Massimo Baldini, will be a wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Global Technologies.
"With the additional expertise Livio provides us, Ford intends to continue to lead the next generation of in-car connectivity with technology advancements that give consumers more options to access their devices on the go," said Paul Mascarenas, chief technical officer and vice president, Ford Research and Innovation, in a statement.
Ford is clearly trying to beef up its in-house tech capability around telematics and device connectivity. While the Blue Oval has been a leader in these areas with SYNC and MyFord Touch in terms of getting the systems into as many cars as possible, the execution of the applications have been criticized for glitches.
Ken Block is at it again in Gymkhana 6
Mon, 11 Nov 2013If there's one thing we'll say about Ken Block and his latest installment in the Gymkhana family, it's that it's far more structured than previous videos, but that doesn't mean it skimps on the entertainment. Block is on a purpose-built course which was touted as "The... Ultimate... Gymkhana... Grid... Course" in last week's preview. Unlike Gymkhana 5, which took placed on closed streets in San Francisco, this course seems much more compact.
Block has an entire array of challenges to tackle in his 650-horsepower Ford Fiesta ST, and none of them look particularly easy. In fact, we'd argue that Gymkhana 6's grid course requires much more precise driving that previous titles. There are Segways, Lamborghinis and massive pieces of construction equipment that all must be dealt with.
We've got the entire 6:28 of Gymkhana madness for you down below. Scroll down for the video and then hit Comments and let us know how this installment compares to previous Block works.
Ford spotted testing new Focus RS at the Nurburgring
Thu, 26 Jun 2014Ford is expected to be launching a revised version of the Focus ST soon, but the latest snapshots from our spy photographers at the Nürburgring suggest that the Blue Oval is already working on an even more potent example: the new Focus RS.
Though the partially disguised test mule is wearing an ST badge (along with a Dewey sticker that makes us wonder what adventures Huey and Louie are up to and what manner of duck-tail rear spoiler they may be wearing), there are several tell-tale signs that something else is afoot here. There's a larger front air dam, bigger brake calipers, dual exhaust tips (instead of the central exhaust on the ST) and a reshaped wing protruding from the trailing edge of the roof.
That may all be well and fine, but what's under the hood? We don't know yet for sure, but word has it that Ford is preparing to port over the 2.3-liter turbo four offered in the new Mustang, where it packs 305 horsepower and almost as much torque - potentially retuned to produce even more for the top-of-the-line Focus, which could channel it all to the front wheels like the last model or pack an all-wheel drive system. The Global C platform on which the Focus is based does, after all, also underpin AWD models like the Ford Escape and Lincoln MKC.
