2000 Ford Focus LX Sedan, 4 cyl, SOHC .In excellent shape. It has a new re-manufactured motor and head. New Tires, New Brakes and rotors. Transmission operates good and has been checked out by a mechanic. It has new fluid and transmission filter. Operates smooth and quiet. Has a new catalytic converter, new mass airflow senor, new spare. new jack, new wiper blades, new belt, hoses, plugs and plug wires, new floor mats, new am-fm cd stereo with auxiliary input, new O2 sensors, new starter,new hubcaps, neat driver seat lever. Has good carpet, has a few small cigarette burns on the seats that were there when I go it. Interior is 8 out of 10. Exterior is a 8 out of 10. All switches and bulbs work. Right rear window does not roll down. It was like that when I got it. Very clean non smoker. Has ice cold air and great heat. Exhaust is perfect. Starts, runs, and handles great. Has 2 or 3 small dings in body, but nothing very noticeable. Motor has 4,774 miles on it. I have receipts for all work and parts including pictures of the new motor I bought online. I am not a mechanic, but anytime any little thing acted up I had it fixed immediately. It was for my daughter and I wanted her in a dependable car. The rear seat folds down for trunk access and more room. Car is garaged and has good paint. It gets up to 39 mpg on the interstate. Bought the car for my teenage daughter and now I don't need it any more. I put one small can of 134a in it once a summer and the AC lasts all year and will freeze you to death. Very dependable, needs to be driven, its been sitting in the garage for the last few months because she wanted some fancy SUV.

Ford blimp crashes inside Portland Trail Blazers arena

Ford owns Automotive Loyalty Awards, Audi and Subaru are king of conquests
Thu, 23 Jan 2014Customers are a commodity in the automotive industry, and like any other commodity, automakers trade them back and forth. Only nobody wants to give up their customers - just to keep the ones they have and try to attract others.
That's what the Polk Automotive Loyalty Awards are all about. Every year the industry research body names the automakers, brands and models that manage to keep their customers coming back for more - and attract buyers to switch from other makes. Ford usually does pretty well, but this year it rose above even its own track record.
Not only did Dearborn win the Overall Loyalty to Manufacturer award, but also the Overall Loyalty to Make. Ford also took the African American category, and the F-150 was named the top full-size half-ton pickup in customer loyalty. Ford COO Mark Fields (pictured above) accepted the awards and gave the keynote address at the awards ceremony.
Ford to auction Mustang Cobra Jet prototype for charity [w/video]
Mon, 16 Sep 2013Prototypes developed by major automakers typically remain in said company's custody, but every once in a while, one trickles out into private hands. And that's just what we have here. Ford is donating a one-of-a-kind factory prototype for the 2014 Mustang Cobra Jet that will be auctioned off later this month by Barrett-Jackson in Las Vegas to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Powered by a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 mated to a T4 competition gearbox, this rare Cobra Jet prototype includes a wheelie bar, chromoly roll cage, Weld wheels, three-link rear suspension, racing brakes, 9-inch rear axle and more. It's painted in a unique satin orange with reflective gray striping scheme, bears the serial number 2014 BJMS CJXX1 and is fully ready for NHRA competition on the drag strip.
To be offered with no reserve on Saturday, September 28, 2013, the Cobra Jet prototype's winning bidder will also receive tutelage at Roy Hill's Drag Racing School in Sophia, NC, along with tours of the Ford Product Development Center, Ford Racing headquarters and Ford Design Studios with Mustang chief engineer Dave Pericak.
