Ford Flex Limited on 2040-cars
Salt Lake City, Utah, United States
Very Rare and difficult to find used with the incredible 365HP Ecoboost motor and AWD!Comes with a Ford CPO 100k mile warranty fully transferrable which makes it better than buying brand new while saving $15k.The Fastest and most fun to drive 3rd row vehicle in America!! 3.5L Ecoboost (same as F150) with 365HP takes you 0-60 in 5.9 seconds. If you've never driven one, you must give one a test drive before you make a purchase. I've owned many SUV's including 4Runner, Pathfinder, Armada, and an Expedition and NONE of them are even remotely close to how enjoyable the Flex with Ecoboost is. If you're looking for 3rd row, AND fun to drive you won't be disappointed. All these people driving SUV's around who never take them off-road have made a huge mistake, they should have purchased a Flex, it's 1000x better for street driving. And I'm also averaging 21 mpg which is 30% better than any other SUV I've owned. The flex is capable of easily pulling 5000lbs, but the trailer we are looking at is 10,000lbs. This is a Limited model with ALL AVAILABLE OPTIONS except rear DVD player. Sticker price was nearly $50,000 new. It has every technology feature you can think of.-Ford Certified with 100,000 mile Ford CPO warranty fully transferable!!-All-wheel-drive-Sony Sound system (the best I've ever heard)-Ford Sync with bluetooth and USB inputs is AWESOME!-Navigation with huge 8" touch screen-Digital dashboard instruments are very futuristic and functional-LED lighting with multiple colors to choose from-Sky view roof with glass panels in all 3 rows-Heated and Cooled seats-Electric folding 3rd row and tailgate-7 Seats with airbag seatbelts in 2nd row to protect kids better-Paddle Shifters to manually shift 6 speed transmission-Roof rack -WeatherTech floor mats in all 3 rows-Tow hitch Class III-5000lb towing capacity Driver Assists:-Adaptive Cruise Control - matches the speed of the car in front of you, works amazing, I'm going to miss this feature!-Collision Warning and Brake Assist - flashes red light and sounds alarm if there is risk of hitting something in front of you...this feature could save your life some day.-Blind Spot Detection - yellow LED in side mirror lights when a car is next to you-Rear camera-Rear sonar and side collision detection senses cars approaching as you back up, even when they are approaching from the sides-Automatic Parallel Parking - parks all by itself, not something I ever use, but some people might like this-Auto Start from key fob to get things warmed up before you enter the vehicle

Sunday Drive: Big debuts from the Big Apple dominated the headlines
Sun, Apr 1 2018New York Auto Show week has come and gone, and, not surprisingly, the week's biggest bits of news came from the halls of the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in NYC. Our favorite debut from New York was the Lincoln Aviator, a sharp-dresses crossover that looks lovely inside and out, and sits on underpinnings at least partly derived from the Ford Mustang. While the Aviator may have caught our attention, it wasn't the most popular vehicle debut from New York, at least when judging by the number of page views here on Autoblog. That distinction goes to the 2019 Toyota RAV4, and we're hardly surprised. The RAV4 is the most popular compact crossover in America (in fact it's the most popular vehicle that isn't a pickup truck), and the 2019 version looks like a radical departure from the model that came before. We can't wait to drive the thing. Midsize sedans may not be the darling of the family car set, that honor taken over by the aforementioned crossover, but they still sell in large enough numbers that a brand-new model catches our attention. Such is the case with the 2019 Nissan Altima. We broke down the specs of the Altima and compared Nissan's bread-and-butter sedan with its biggest rivals. And finally, we got some official figures for the 2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt. It'll cost a cool $12,000 over the cost of a Mustang GT, and will benefit from a 480-horsepower, 420-pound-foot version of Ford's excellent 5.0-liter V8 engine. As always, stay tuned this week for all the latest automotive news that's fit to print. 2018 New York Auto Show Mega Photo Gallery | Start spreading the news 2019 Toyota RAV4 actually looks pretty cool 2019 Nissan Altima vs Honda Accord vs Toyota Camry: How they compare 2019 Mustang Bullitt orders open as Ford reveals price and horsepower Image Credit: Drew Angerer/Getty New York Auto Show Ford Lincoln Nissan Toyota Coupe Crossover SUV Sedan 2018 new york auto show
Ford recalls over 500,000 trucks and SUVs, including Explorer, F-150, and Lincoln Aviator
Fri, Aug 30 2019For the second time in a month, Ford is recalling the brand-new 2020 Explorer and 2020 Lincoln Aviator for minor safety issues. This recall, which also affects certain 2018-2020 Ford F-150s, 2019-2020 Ford F-Series Super Duty trucks, 2018-2019 Ford Explorers, and 2019-2020 Ford Expeditions, pertains to potentially faulty seat-back reclining mechanisms. In total, the recall touches 550,186 vehicles. A mechanical part meant for relaxation and comfort has the Ford Motor Company stressin'. Ford says potentially affected vehicles might be missing the "third pawl required for seat-back strength" in the reclining mechanisms on certain seats. Because of this, the seats might not properly keep a person in place during the event of a crash or otherwise. In the F-150s, F-Series Super Duty trucks, 2018-2019 Explorers, and Expeditions, the recall affects vehicles with manual driver and/or front passenger seat-back recliners. On the 2020 Explorers and Lincoln Aviators, rear outboard seats with manual recliners are of concern. Of the more than 550,000 vehicles, 483,325 vehicles are in the United States, 58,712 are in Canada and 8,149 are in Mexico. Thus far, Ford is not aware of any injuries from the issues. Ford says it expects most vehicles will not need repair, but dealers will inspect the seat structures out of precaution. If fault is found, dealers will replace the seat structure altogether. For this recall, Ford's reference number is 19C07. Contact your dealer for more information. Featured Gallery 2020 Ford Explorer View 47 Photos Recalls Ford Lincoln Truck SUV
2015 Ford Mustang option prices gallop onto the web
Tue, 22 Apr 2014The 2015 Ford Mustang is one of the most anticipated cars of the year, despite the fact that production hasn't yet begun. What's a pony car fan to do? It turns out that Ford already has pricing and options information about the vehicle in its dealer ordering system. A few enterprising folks have snapped some pictures from it and have posted them online. You might not be able to drive your car yet, but you can at least see what it might cost.
At the moment, Ford appears to be splitting the Mustang into five models - 3.7-liter V6, 2.3-liter EcoBoost, GT with the 5.0-liter V8, 50th Anniversary and SVT. There are 10 available paint colors, 2 of which require an extra outlay. Triple Yellow is $495, and Ruby Red Tint is $395. Regardless of model, navigation goes for $795, and reverse parking assist is $295.
For both the EcoBoost and GT, the six-speed automatic tacks an extra $1,195 to the sticker, and adaptive cruise control is the same price. The GT also has a limited-slip 3.55 rear end for $395 and a GT Performance package for $2,495. Recaro leather seats add an extra $1,595. For the EcoBoost, there's something called EcoBoost Performance package for $1,995. The system doesn't say what the packages include.
