2006 Ford Five Hundred Limited Sedan 4-door 3.0l on 2040-cars
Muscadine, Alabama, United States
2006 Ford Five Hundred Limited Edition. It has 229K miles and it still runs good with no engine or transmission problems. It has cold AC with nice warm heat. The AC has dual setting (one for the driver and one for the passengers). There are two side-by-side AC/Heat vents for the backseat passengers. The seats are leather seats and the front passenger seat comes with a heated seat option (driver side does not work.) The driver seat has two automatic settings so you won't have to adjust your seat. You just push a button and it does the work for you. The car is all power: power doors, windows, locks, seats, and sliding/tilt sunroof. AM/FM radio and 6 Disc CD changer work great with no issues. Cruise control and media controls are on the steering wheel. The car also comes with a gas mileage indicator that shows you how many miles until empty. The rear bumper has reverse sensors that aid you when you're backing up. Driver side door has a code section on it but I do not know the code. The lower portion of the front windshield is cracked. The backseat floor boards have some staining and there is a minor stain on the back passenger side seat. One fog light is blown. The back bumper and driver side fender were backed into but we had them professionally fixed both times (bumper reverse sensors replaced as well). This car is being sold As Is. You can come get the car or you can arrange to have it shipped at buyers expense. I will receive payment through cash at pick-up or by money order. Feel free to ask any questions. |

Takata air bag recall list
Tue, Dec 9 2014The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration confirmed yesterday that 33.8 million vehicles with Takata airbags are going to be recalled. It's the largest recall in automotive history. The already record-breaking rate of automotive recalls this year shows no signs of slowing down, especially since millions of cars with defective airbags made by global supplier Takata are under ongoing scrutiny. The federal government is warning owners that inflator mechanisms in the air bags can rupture, causing metal fragments to fly out when the bags are deployed. The faulty air bags have already been blamed for multiple deaths. How do you know if your vehicle is safe? The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration released an updated list of vehicles under recall. Sometimes however, the government's website will crash and the list may not be complete. Check your VIN at the NHTSA website to make sure. The list of cars affected by the recall has not been released, but seem to span multiple models over the years for many of the automakers.
2014 Ford Fiesta Titanium
Mon, 28 Oct 2013You might not be interested in owning a subcompact (B-segment) hatchback for $20,000. Let's be clear from the get go here: there are any number of reasonable arguments for staying away from the highest-content versions of these small cars. Ford's player in the B-segment arena is the newly updated 2014 Fiesta, and the Titanium trim represents the most luxurious instantiation of the model. We recently were loaned a Fiesta Titanium for a week, whose final sticker price hit $20,390, with navigation being the only standalone option added to the bottom line. By way of comparison, the most basic version of the all new, one-segment-up Mazda3 hatchback costs $19,740 with delivery and destination accounted for, and no options added on.
Hold on to that thought for a moment, we'll get back to it.
Ford blimp crashes inside Portland Trail Blazers arena
Fri, Dec 5 2014Portland basketball fans got a free, very safe recreation of the Hindenburg disaster when a Ford airship crashed into the stands during a game between the Trail Blazers and Indiana Pacers. Reportedly no one was hurt, but arena staff trying to push the inflatable vehicle through a hole it was too big for, made for some fantastic video and photos. This content is hosted by a third party. The first gives an idea of just how hard it was to fit the blimp through the exit of the arena, and the second is a time-lapse look from someone right next to the action. All these clips need is Yakety Sax as background music for some true Internet gold. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings.
