This vehicle was purchased from a private owner 4 years ago and it was the second owner, car was last registered in 1975 in Fond Dulac Wisconsin I have restoring this car since I bought it 4 years ago. Engine and transmission was removed and the car was sand blasted under carriage and engine compartment. All rust removed and repair. Engine was clean and put back since it has only 36000 original miles on it. Here is a list of some of the new parts that were install in this car. New front disk brakes new muffler system new springs front suspension emergency cable with all the fittings and pulley. All new brake lines and masty moreer cylinder, new front suspension new shock absorbers, new 17 inch rims with new tires whole inside interior new rug, seat cover dash pad instrument panel with new chrome face radio and speakers. New convertible top lights and lenses front and rear bumpers and many more new parts. |

Ford Tourneo ready for duty in Connect, Courier and Custom flavors [w/videos]
Wed, 06 Mar 2013Ford was relatively quiet at the Geneva Motor Show, but it did take the opportunity to roll out its new family of Tourneo vans: the Courier, Connect, Grand Connect and Custom. As the passenger version of the Transit cargo vans, the new range of Tourneo models vary from the B-segment Courier up to the fullsize Custom. The Connect and Grand Connect are based on the redesigned 2014 Ford Transit Connect.
With an overall length just three inches longer than the Fiesta hatchback, the Tourneo Courier seats four to five passengers, and it offers a choice of three engines: the 1.0-liter EcoBoost or two small diesels. Like the 2014 Transit Connect was saw in Paris last year, the Tourneo Connect comes in a five-seat configuration while the Grand Connect can seat seven. Finally, the Tourneo Custom seats up to nine passengers, and it is available in two lengths up to 210 inches long putting it just six inches shorter than a standard-length E-Series van and about a foot longer than the Explorer.

Ford Escort returns, just not for US
Sat, 19 Apr 2014Ford is set to give the burgeoning Chinese market its very own C-segment model, while also reviving one of the brand's more notable nameplates. The new Escort, which will make its world debut at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show will be built in the People's Republic at the Changan Ford joint venture facility.
The Escort's exterior is best thought of as a mix of the finer points from the US market Focus and Fusion, with the Aston Martin-ish grille and narrow, wraparound taillights presenting a clean look at either end of the car. It's all fairly true to the concept car from last year's Shanghai Motor Show. That said, this exterior job is almost too clean. There doesn't seem to be a lot of character or substance beyond the typical Ford looks.
There's a similar issue in the cabin - it all looks pretty nice, but the design is rather plain, particularly when viewed alongside the display-filled cabin of a US-spec car. Still, there looks to be a fair amount of space in both the front and back seats, and the trunk isn't exactly tiny, either.
