1965 ford falcon futura. Clean florida title. New paint. Has a rebuilt 200 cubic inch inline six cylinder engine with under 10,000 miles and a c4 automatic 3 speed transmission. New brakes and lines and new master cylinder. It needs a new fuel line ran from the gas tank, an ignition switch, throttle linkage hooked up, radiator fan, and tires. It does also have a new battery, water pump, belt, hoses, new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, points, and condensor. There is a little bondo in the right rear quarter panel, but overall the body is very solid. The floors have minor patches and have been rhino lined. There is a little rust around the back leaf spring mounts as shown in the pictures and the passenger side has a patch. The front leaf springs mounts are completely rust free, the door posts are in great shape as well. The windshield has a small crack, but I do have a replacement that comes with the car. Also, the engine and transmission were from my 65 mustang, which was a console shift car. This car is a column shift so the shifter works backwards. This can be corrected by swithing the lever around on the trans or putting a console shifter in. But it works as is also, just takes a little getting used to. Any other questions or concerns, feel free to message or call me at 321-693-3655. I may also be able to deliver the car for a fee depending on where tou are located. Call for details.

This is what a 3D-printed liquid metal Ford Torino looks like
Sat, 12 Oct 2013Artist Ioan Florea has encapsulated a 1971 Ford Torino with 3-D-printed liquid metal transferred onto the car using technology that he developed, and the result is a stunningly shiny, seamless design.
"The surface has the highest coefficient of reflectivity never achieved before," Florea told us in an e-mail, using "nano-materials and nano-pigments that create an internal three-dimensional structure and dictate the polymer how to behave." Sure... We'll leave it to him to make any more 3-D-printed liquid metal-transferred art pieces.
Florea grew up in Romania, and the motivation behind picking the old Ford as his canvas came from his childhood memories of what an American car is - "big and wide and fascinating," he says - and the European name of the car itself, which it shares with an Italian city.
Ford recalling 850,000 cars and SUVs for airbag issues
Fri, 26 Sep 2014Ford has announced a major recall of 850,000 vehicles from model years 2013 and 2014 due to a problem with the "restraints control module."
According to Ford, a short circuit could develop in the module, causing the airbag warning light to illuminate. In more severe cases, dependent on where the short develops, the airbags and seatbelt pre-tensioners may not work in the event of an accident. The problems can be more wide-ranging than that, too, as systems that rely on information from the control module, such as the stability control can be affected.
With 850,000 vehicles affected, it's no surprise that some of Ford's volume leaders are covered. That includes the Fusion and Lincoln MKZ sedans, as well as the incredibly recall-prone Escape and the C-Max MPV.
TX officer allegedly lets 140-mph street racer go with a warning [w/poll]
Tue, 26 Aug 2014Being pulled over by the police is one of the most nerve-racking situations that a driver can go through, and it's even worse when you know that the officer has you dead to rights for speeding well over the posted limit. In this video, the driver of a heavily modified Ford Mustang with a claimed 966 horsepower at the rear wheels could have easily lost his ride for doing triple-digit speeds and street racing, but a friendly Texas police officer appears to send him on his way with a simple warning.
What's more, the driver in question wasn't just speeding - his Mustang was the camera car for a bunch of rolling street races in the wee hours of the morning on a Texas highway. The driver was more than willing to mix it up in the action, too. Eventually the cops catch on and pick the 'Stang to pull over, but not before the Ford owner runs a claimed 140 mph. With only audio to go on after the car is pulled over, the police officer seems incredibly nonchalant about catching someone who was so brazenly breaking the law. Incredibly, the patrolman actually tells the driver that he's seen everyone racing tonight but ignored them. With traffic picking up, the cop says that it's time to "cut it out" and go home for the night. As far as this video shows, that was the end of it.
