1966 Ford Fairlane 500 8 Cyl Auto, Barn Find on 2040-cars
Port Charlotte, Florida, United States
This is a nice clean straight car.I have all the documentation since new and build sheet. The car came from hamblen county motors in Morristown, tenn. brought 10-28-1965 from what I see I am the 3rd owner this car sat in a garage for a number of years with a sticky trans shift valve .since then it had the trans rebuilt, and a complete paint job not because of rust just because the original paint was stained and did not have a shine on it.This car was always garage kept and never seen snow.I have all receipts in the last few years of what was put into the car total of over 11,000.00 I also just brought 4 new crager ss mag wheels and all new tires and rear air shocks. the inside of the car is all original but the front seat cloth insert needs to have a new insert put in it ,The motor purrs like a kitten and has no fluid leaks, and I would drive this car cross country. All the floor pans and trunk is rust free. I took this car to a local car show last week and won a trophy.Even these 4 door cars are going up in value. if you have any questions call me 941 626 9411 this car is being sold as is with true miles unknown looking to trade also

You can now order Domino's pizza from your Sync-equipped Ford
Tue, 07 Jan 2014
The news keeps pouring in from the Consumer Electronics Show now underway in Las Vegas, and the latest comes from Ford which has announced two new apps for its Sync AppLink system.
First up is a cooperative app launched by Ford together with Domino's Pizza that lets drivers of the former order pizza from the latter right from their car. The service allows those with Ford Sync AppLink in their car or truck and are registered with a Domino's Pizza Profile to place an order for their favorite pie using Dearborn's voice-recognition software for either pickup or delivery. Save your information in your Pizza Profile and it'll be sent to your house without even the push of a button, which strikes us as awesome a use of technology as we've ever seen.
Ford recalling nearly 24,000 Focus EV and C-Max models over door chime
Fri, 04 Oct 2013Ford will be voluntarily recalling 23,830 Focus Electric and C-Max Hybrid and Energi models equipped with push-button ignition, according to The Detroit News. Why? Because the cars don't make a noise when the driver's door is open, and are therefore in violation of federal regulations. It's not as silly as Honda's badging recall that isn't a recall, but it's close.
Actually, that's not exactly fair. The chime is supposed to come on when the driver's door is open, as it reminds drivers not to leave their cars on or leave key fobs in the car, an easy thing to forget when the cars in question make virtually no noise at idle and do not require keys in ignitions.
The recall, which Ford is conducting voluntarily, covers 2012 and 2013 Focus Electric hatchbacks and 2013 C-Max Hybrid and Energi models. The overwhelming majority, around 22,900 units, were sold in the US, while the remaining 900 units are in Canada. How many of each model are covered in the recall is not immediately clear.
