1964 Ford Fairlane 500 4.7l on 2040-cars
Pompano Beach, Florida, United States
|
I
am the second owner of this gorgeous 1964 Ford Fair lane 500, I owned and
enjoyed it for the last 21 years and bought it from a friend who is the
original owner. I got the car when it
had only 9,000 miles and now it has only 30,429 miles. A remarkable original
example with a 289 special V8, automatic transmission, the same engine ford
used in the mustangs. Striking blue exterior with a gorgeous bright blue and
white interior. Lots of the original paperwork is present including the owner’s
manual, Ford warranty and service record and years of registrations and other
paper works. The condition, mileage, documentation and great colors will make
this an outstanding addition to any collector or Ford admirer. This car has never been stored outside and
has been kept in garage all its life. The
car even has the original stickers on it. Original radio still works. No accidents not even touch ups
anywhere. Everything is original. Car is currently in Southern Florida and
buyer must arrange for transportation. |

3dCarbon now offering body kit for Ford Fusion
Tue, 01 Oct 2013A factory-backed body kit by 3dCarbon is now available to Ford Fusion owners who want their car to stand out from the crowd while not being too flashy. The body kit adds a more aggressive front spoiler, side skirts, rear body trim and spoiler that are, in fact, integrated quite nicely into the Fusion's already-comely styling, just as 3dCarbon claims. All Fusions with the kit also receive dual exhaust ports with the stainless-steel exhaust surrounds usually reserved for the Titanium package Fusion EcoBoost models.
A nice detail of 3dCarbon's injection-molded urethane body kit is that it has undergone crash testing to certify that it can withstand crashes up to five miles per hour. Because of this, the kit is warrantied by 3dCarbon for five years or 50,000 miles, much like Ford's warranty on its own parts. In fact, the kit is available through participating Ford dealers and can be financed through Ford Motor Credit. Buyers can purchase the kit - pre-painted or unpainted - and install it themselves, or it can be purchased with a new Ford Fusion and installed at the dealer, pre-painted to factory specifications. Of course, it can also be ordered directly from the source. Take a look at the press release below for more detailed information on the body kit, and let us know what you think of it in Comments.
Livestream: Ricardo Innovation & Sustainability Symposium 2015
Thu, Mar 19 2015Making decisions on how to invest billions of dollars in future technology is scary even if you're developing something as simple as a smartphone. But when you've got to invest that money in something as complex as a car – one that might drive itself, or operate just on electricity, or even possibly be crash-proof – that task becomes daunting. Today, at 9:00AM, a slate of auto industry leaders are gathering at automotive supplier Ricardo to celebrate the company's 100-year anniversary by looking toward the future. Moderated by Autoblog Editor-in-Chief Sharon Carty, the panel will talk about Ford's vision for the future, look at battery development, environmental issues, and may even debate the future of flying cars. Maybe. If you're interested in following along, take a look at the livestream. Government/Legal Green Ford Technology Emerging Technologies Videos ricardo Sakti3
