BUY IT NOW OR MAKE OFFER on this Original 1964 Ford Fairlane 2 door Sedan and has spent most it life in DRY West Texas, here is your chance to build a Thunderbolt clone from a car that has not been messed with much. It still has the 6cyl engine with the 3 on the tree and has not been running in years, I have not tried stating it(you can smell the old gas in the tank and fuel lines), the engine does turn over by hand. The car was repainted back in the 1980's with a cheap job, they also changed the rear taillights and added two extra, I don't think they modified the body buy installing the lights and a few small holes that were drilled(looks like an easy fix). The floor pans look solid, there is some rust in the trunk, on the left rear quarter between the wheel opening and door(you can see they put some tape over it), some on the lower front fenders and also on the doors, these are the places I could find the rust so look at the closeup pictures. The interior was painted blue looks like it was done with the spray can and the front seat was changed. The headlight trim is in the trunk. Please look at all 135 pictures, I am trying to show and tell everything I know about the car, all I have for it is what you see in the pictures and nothing more, it is sold as is where is, it is in need of total restoration. 2015 Roush Mustang lineup officially revealed

Just last week, Saleen revealed initial details of its tuning program for the new Ford Mustang. And now Roush is following suit.
Available in three stages - based on the V6 (RS), EcoBoost (RS1) and V8 (RS2) models - the 2015 Roush Mustangs all feature the venerable Ford tuner's latest R7 aero kit complete with remodeled fascia, five-blade grille, gaping air dam with integrated driving lamps and splitter. Road & Track names its 2013 Performance Car of the Year

Road & Track recently staged its first annual Performance Car of the Year test, pitting 13 new and updated performance cars against each other on track, then graduating the top six to a road test before picking a winner. Additionally, the magazine staff picked the best automobiles of the year in eight categories.
But first, let's cover the PCotY segment. Here's the list of cars brought to the comparison test: Audi R8 V10 Plus; BMW 435i; BMW M6 Competition Package; Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Z51; Ferrari F12 Berlinetta; Ford Fiesta ST; Jaguar F-Type V8 S; Jaguar XFR-S; Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG S-Model Wagon; Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series; Mini John Cooper Works GP; Nissan GT-R Track Edition; and Porsche Cayman S.

Johnson Controls executive Brian Kesseler isn't likely to get any holiday presents this year from Nissan chief Carlos Ghosn or Tesla Motors head Elon Musk, but lots of other folks might be happy with what he has to say about automakers' efforts to reach stricter fleetwide fuel-economy standards. Speaking at the Automotive News World Congress, Kesseler said automakers wouldn't need to sell an extensive number of plug-in vehicles in order to meet the 54.5 mile per gallon Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) standard the US government set in 2012 for 2025 model-year vehicles. In fact, he said, components such as stop-start engine technology, turbochargers and direct injection may actually do the trick. Already, things like smaller engine sizes and lighter cars are already playing major roles in spurring fuel-efficiency gains. Of course, Johnson Controls sells batteries specially built for stop-start systems, so Kesseler does have a bit of skin in this game. The 54.5-mpg CAFE standard equates to about a 40-mpg "real world" fuel-efficiency level. To put that into perspective, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) said in a report late last year that model-year 2013 average fuel economy was an even 24 mpg. That was up from 23.6 mpg for the 2012 model year and 22.4 mpg for 2011.
