Well it's time. For sale is my 1958 Ford Fairlane or if you perfer Custom 300. It is near perfect. Then egine has 4000 miles on it since it's rebuild. The interior was done 6 months ago at a custom upholestery shop. The headline was done a year ago and is not perfect but looks good. The tires and brakes were also recently done. The chrome all looks good to. There is no rust at all on this vehicle because I took it to a professional restoration shop. The paint was supposed to be wet sanded and buffed but I never took it back to the painter whom is not there anymore. So there is a little orange peal here and there. The only thing that is wrong is the drivers side window track is missing, the window is fine and down because I never took it in the rain. This car is a real winner but I have to sell it because I don't drive anymore.

Here's what it's like to drive the very first Ford Mustang cop car

That's true whether you're talking about a modern Dodge Charger Pursuit or, yes, the legendary Ford Mustang SSP. Former Autoblog staffer and current Road and Track web editor Zach Bowman discovered this when he shanghaied a 2015 Mustang GT and made the trip to Nashville, TN to drive the very first Mustang SSP police car. The two-tone, V8-powered prototype was delivered into the welcoming arms of the California Highway Patrol back in 1981 for evaluation. Bowman chatted up cop-car aficionado Mike Strinich, the prototype's current owner, and managed to score some seat time in the car, which provided a unique interesting contrast to the SSP's 435-horsepower junior. This 1969 Ford F-100 has a Cadillac CTS-V engine lurking underhood
Fri, Jan 30 2015Something always feels just a little taboo when someone builds a custom and then slots in a powertrain from a rival automaker. That's exactly the case with this modded 1969 Ford F-100 boasting a highly tuned LSA supercharged V8 like from the second-gen Cadillac CTS-V. However, with a claimed 800 horsepower on tap thanks in part to running an estimated 20 pounds of boost, it's easy to get over any bad feelings. Built by Tommy Pike Customs in South Carolina, the truck tries to keep the exterior looking somewhat stock. Although, the jade green and satin gold paint, Quaker State logo, lowered suspension and black wheels immediately suggest something is up. Once the F-100 starts up with its menacing growl, absolutely any doubts of this beast being unaltered are immediately gone. Not so obvious are some tweaks to actually help put all that power down, including disc brakes and independent suspension setups at the front and rear. The video gives some glimpses at a few of Pike's other creations, but the real star here is definitely his mean, green Ford.

There are many things I could call this exercise. A party is not one of them.
I've spent three days crammed in the axle well of this 1989 Mustang with nothing to keep me company beyond a trouble light, a DeWalt drill on the very last of its legs and billion razor sharp, red hot slivers of metal with an affinity for my most sensitive of regions. My joints are raw from crawling around on the concrete. I'm half deaf from the shriek of the spot weld cutter and the boom of the cold chisel and hammer.
