Every nut, bolt, and panel was removed, refinished, replaced, and repainted!

Rebuilt 312 motor, new 600cfm Holly carb, new water pump, new pulleys, rebuilt power steering pump. Added rack and pinion power steering, front disc brakes, new floor pans, new inner and outer rocker panels, new floor braces, replaced quarter panels with new sheet metal, rebuilt T-10 four speed transmission, new 9 inch rear end with 300 gear, new windshield and all flat glass (still has original rear glass), new quarter fender stainless, 4 new Diamondback wide white radials 205-75-r15, new headliner and interior, and all new rubber.

Have all pictures of rotisserie restoration and over $25,000 in receipts for parts and paint; labor is not included. Chrome was re-plated by Advance Plating, Nashville, Tn. so it will last forever. Re-cored radiator, new gas tank and sending unit, everything works except radio (did not replace the original unit).

Also comes with 2 extra 9" rear ends: 325 stock gear, & 411 PosiTraction. Also with turnpike cruiser skirts.

Has the 2015 Ford Mustang gained hundreds of pounds?

Automakers face competing interests when it comes to developing a new generation of vehicle. On the one hand, companies want to build their cars to be safer and better handling, with more equipment and maybe even larger dimensions over the model it's replacing. On the other hand, they strive to keep weight down to the benefit of both performance and fuel consumption. Usually something has to give, and in the case of the new 2015 Ford Mustang, those efforts may have resulted in a weight penalty of two or three hundred pounds.
This according to Blue Oval modifier Steeda Autosports, which states that "the 2015 Mustang ended up gaining 200-300 pounds in this remake". Despite the Mustang not being on the market yet, it would appear the leading Ford aftermarketer has been given early access to the 2015 model to help jumpstart its tuning efforts (a rather common development among trusted tuners). If Steeda's assertion is accurate, that would make the challenge of getting the new pony car up to speed for both Ford and aftermarket customizers like Steeda that much greater.
We're waiting for official word from Ford on the veracity of Steeda's claim, but if true, it's bound to be a bit of disappointing news for legions of Blue Oval performance enthusiasts. Watch this space for more.

This is what a 3D-printed liquid metal Ford Torino looks like

Artist Ioan Florea has encapsulated a 1971 Ford Torino with 3-D-printed liquid metal transferred onto the car using technology that he developed, and the result is a stunningly shiny, seamless design.
"The surface has the highest coefficient of reflectivity never achieved before," Florea told us in an e-mail, using "nano-materials and nano-pigments that create an internal three-dimensional structure and dictate the polymer how to behave." Sure... We'll leave it to him to make any more 3-D-printed liquid metal-transferred art pieces.
Florea grew up in Romania, and the motivation behind picking the old Ford as his canvas came from his childhood memories of what an American car is - "big and wide and fascinating," he says - and the European name of the car itself, which it shares with an Italian city.
