1956 Ford Fairlane 2 door Club Sedan, engine was running but now between the old carb and electrical problems it does not run presently, needs rewiring, interior and exterior as in pics, this is a car to have fun with and restore to whatever degree you want. The car has title from OK. It rolls and has brakes, trans on the column and original rearend. Underneath is original with surface rust but frame is solid. It has an undercoating which looks original. The fenders and quarters have the usual rusted spots but could be restored. This could be a cool rat rod also. I don't have time to do the car and have to move it on down the road. Has the original plate on the driver's side door which I have researched, looks like the real deal. Any questions I would be happy to reply. This car is sold in as is condition.

Tanner Foust tackles 'Ring in SVT Raptor
Sat, 16 Mar 2013Here's a math problem: if Tanner Foust has a 24 hours to kill in Germany and one blue Ford Raptor, how long will it take him to decide he wants to lap The Nürburgring? Extra credit if you can get your answer precise to the millisecond.
A very truck-like and slidey lap of the 'Ring is exactly what happened when the Ford-sponsored rallycross driver took time off from set-up duties for his 'day job.' Thankfully no one even thought to worry about posting a time, but you can watch some Raptor skid marks getting laid down between the kerbs in the video below.
2015 Ford Mustang stars in bizarrely awesome '80s aerobics video
Wed, 30 Apr 2014For reasons we can't comprehend, here's a music video starring the all-new, 2015 Ford Mustang and a number of dancers dressed and styled in the most stereotypically 1980s way possible. The dancers then take part in a male-versus-female dance off. Again, we've no idea why it exists.
It's weird, and for the second time in two weeks, we're sat at our computer wondering, "What are we watching?" That said, it does show the new Mustang from a number of angles, and it's one of the first car-related YouTube videos we've seen that's available in a 4K, ultra-high-def stream.

Ford hiring 2,200 salaried US workers this year
Fri, 11 Jan 2013With its influx of popular new products made in the US, Ford Motor Company has announced that it intends to hire 2,200 new salaried workers domestically this year. This is the biggest increase of salaried workers for Ford in the last 10 years, and it is all a part of Ford's contract commitment to the United Auto Workers union to bring 12,000 new jobs to the US by 2015.
There were no specifics as to where in the US these job openings will be, but Ford did reiterate that it will be spending $773 million on equipment upgrades and capacity expansion at six plants located in southeast Michigan; as a whole, Ford is investing a total of $6.2 billion to its US assembly plants over the next couple years. According to recently appointed president of the Americas Joe Hinrichs, the new jobs will be focused on areas such as engineering, manufacturing and computer software. Ford will post its job openings online at careers.ford.com, and it will also use social media sites like Facebook and Twitter to recruit new workers, including military veterans.
