For sale we have a 2007 Ford F-450 Superduty 2WD. This truck was a recent trade in for a newer truck. The truck runs and drives great. The 6.0L Powerstroke Turbo DIESEL motor fires right up and it sounds solid and healthy with lots of power and torque and 16,000LB of GVWR! The automatic tranny shifts smoothly thru out all the gears with no issues. The truck is 2WD but it will go thru anything because it is heavy. The truck has a flat bed dump body. Body goes up and down with a push off a button and no issues. The outside body is clean. The interior is clean as well and crew cab which is very roomy. All 6 tires are in excellent shape. Over all a great running and healthy F-450 with super low miles!

Contact us for any questions No representations or warranties are made by seller, nor are any representations or warranties relied upon by bidders in making bids. 7) Taxes and Registration fees: Out of state buyers are responsible for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title service fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered. All taxes and fees must be paid in full in order for vehicle to be titled and registered. We do charge a processing fee $300.00 for all title documents in order to cover charges we pay to the state as well as other fees incurred during the process. For Out of State (Non-CT Resident)that fee is $300 for all vehicles. These fees are non-negotiable. CT Residents are also required to pay 6.35% Sales Tax at our location at the time of sale. Non-Residents are not subject to the CT Sales Tax. 8) Title Information: Vehicles titles may be held by banks or lenders as collateral for loans. In many cases there is a delay in receiving the original instruments up to 21 days from the time we pay a vehicle off. While we usually have all titles in our possession at closing, there are occasions where we may be waiting for them to arrive. If payment is made by cashier's or personal checks we will hold all titles for 10 days or until funds have cleared. 9) Shipping & Delivery: All shipping charges are buyer's responsibility, we will help with shipping arrangements but will not be responsible in any way for claims arising from shipping damage! All shipping arrangements are made via 3rd Party Liscensed Broker. Licensed Carriers are generally insured for $3,000,000.00. We assume no responsibility for damages incurred after the vehicle leaves our showroom or any delays in shipping for any reason. We are not affiliated with any carrier. Any claims or other communication regarding shipment of vehicles will be between you and the shipper. The amount of time it takes for delivery is dependent on the carrier, but is generally 5-21 days from the date the vehicle is picked up from our facility until it is delivered to your destination. Verify with the shipper for an Estimate Time of Arrival to be sure. 10) Finalizing your Purchase: We will contact the successful high bidder by e-mail after the auction closes. Successful high bidder MUST communicate with us by e-mail or phone to make arrangements to complete their transaction and leave a deposit. This deposit is needed to secure your purchase and must be done within 24 hours of the auctions close. We reserve the right to relist this vehicle or sell to any other qualified buyer before purchase is secured. We will use all available recourse to recover lost fees. Deposit will be in the amount of $500.00 by major credit card, cash in person, or bank certified funds (no refunds on deposit unless the car is found to be not as advertised). Failure to leave a deposit within the specified time frame will result in relisting of the vehicle and the bidder being charged Ebays final value fee and any fees associated with relisting the vehicle. Within 72 hours of bid closing, Buyer must send balance of funds by bank wire transfer, cash in person, bank certified funds to Seller. If Deposit is made but payment is not finalized in time allowed in these terms then the car may be relisted and your deposit will be forfeited to us unless other arrangements have been made with us. If Buyer changes mind at any point after deposit is made for any reason the deposit will be forfeit. At time of sending initial deposit, Buyer is to fax copy of their State issued valid Driver License. Furthermore, before said vehicle is released for shipment to Buyer, all other Sale related and title related paperwork must be signed and documented Seller. 11) All vehicles are sold as-is through. Please also note that a storage fee of $25 per day will be charged starting one week from conclusion of auction unless arrangements are made either in writing or via email that state otherwise. No title will be released until this bill is paid in full. If your travel arrangements prevent you from getting the vehicle within that time frame contact us FIRST. Why the 2015 Detroit Auto Show will be the best since The Crisis
Tue, Dec 30 2014The Detroit Auto Show clearly has its swagger back, and the 2015 edition will be a veritable feast for the enthusiast senses. We're talking serious performance, and it will be exhibited in a variety of forms. Sports cars. Supercars. Muscle-bound luxury cars. They're all set for splashy debuts in January in the Motor City. It's another signpost that companies have recovered from the global economic crisis that gripped the industry from 2008-09. For a while, automakers played it safe at Detroit and other shows. Environmentally friendly cars were important, especially for General Motors and Chrysler that were living on loans from Uncle Sam. Ford, Toyota and other companies generally focused on their best-selling or core models. With a few notable exceptions, recent auto shows have been a bit more buttoned-down than in the past. Boring probably isn't the right word, but austerity has been reality. That's changing. Car companies are making money. Sales are up. Aside from the many nagging recalls – and they are notable – the industry now has the time and energy to make performance cars a priority. That will be offered in hard evidence in Detroit. A year from now when we look back at this auto show, we'll sum it up with one word: Horsepower. But make no mistake, this isn't frivolous. Sports and luxury cars are expensive. They're profitable. They boost images and highlight strengths. With that in mind, here are five significant performance-oriented reveals to watch for when the show kicks off in less than two weeks. 2016 Acura NSX Acura's reborn NSX is a strong bet to earn plenty of votes for our Editors' Choice awards. It's one of the most anticipated – and strung-out – reveals of the year. Think back: we actually saw an NSX concept at the 2012 Detroit show, and Acura has spent the last three years teasing the car in a variety of ways. The slow burn, however, means we know a lot about the NSX. It's will use a mid-mounted twin-turbo hybrid powertrain and run with all-wheel drive. It will also wear an innovative zirconium e-coat paint, a new paint process that Honda says is more environmentally friendly. Honda has also said it will build the new NSX in Ohio, where a large part of the car's development work has been done. The original NSX was produced from 1990-2005 and helped establish Acura's performance credentials in the United States. It was a landmark car and a shot across the bow of Ferrari, Lamborghini and others.
NHTSA upgrades Ford floor mat unintended acceleration probe
Mon, 17 Dec 2012According to a Bloomberg report, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has upgraded an investigation into complaints of unintended acceleration lodged against Ford vehicles. The investigation began in June of 2010 when just three complaints had been received and it only concerned the Ford Fusion and Mercury Milan, but this was at a time when the phrase "unintended acceleration" made grown men go pale. With 49 additional complaints received since then, the investigation has been reclassified as an engineering analysis - the last phase before a recall - and it has been expanded to include the Lincoln MKZ, making for a total of "around 480,000" units affected between the three sedans from the 2008 to 2010 model years.
The ostensible cause is that floor mats are trapping the accelerator pedal, but according to a Ford statement at the time, the entrapment is due to owners placing the optional all-weather floor mats, or aftermarket floor mats, on top of the car's standard floor mats. NHTSA has backed up that assessment, pinning the blame on "unsecured or double stacked floor mats."
On the face of it, it would appear that NHTSA has upgraded the status not because of Ford's error, but owner error, and Ford has stated publicly that it is "disappointed" in NHTSA's move. On top of NHTSA still being skittish after that other unintended acceleration debacle, it could be seen to be taking its time investigating all of the variables: it's reported that Ford changed its accelerator pedal design in 2010, a "heel blocker" in the floorpan has been considered a potential culprit in how the floor mats could be trapping the pedal, some drivers have said the floor mats weren't anywhere near the pedal, and according to a report in the LA Times, in "a letter sent by Ford to NHTSA in August 2010, the automaker said it found three injuries and one fatality that 'may have resulted from the alleged defect.'"
2015 Ford F-150 pricing announced, aluminum-bodied truck up just $395
Mon, 28 Jul 2014The eagerly anticipated Ford F-150 has had its 2015 pricing announced, adding only a small amount to the pickup's total cost, despite its weight-saving aluminum body. The XL and XLT entry level models only see a $395 boost over the heavier, current-generation, 2014 truck.
The XL starts at $26,615 while the XLT rings up at $31,890. The increase for Lariat is up a similarly negligible $895, to $39,880. Going up the ladder, meanwhile, the leather-intensive King Ranch sees the biggest jump of the F-150 family, with prices increasing $3,515, to $49,460. Finally, picking up the top-end Platinum trim will cost an extra $3,055, with prices starting at $52,155.
The higher prices are being blamed not only on the aluminum bodies, which trim up to 700 pounds of body fat, but on increased levels of standard equipment. While we were expecting a price hike, the fact that the 2015 F-150's volume trims - Ford spokesman Mike Levine told Reuters that the XL and XLT alone cover 70 percent of F-150 sales - have had less than a $400 increase is hugely impressive.
