I am selling 2008 F450 4x4 truck has 173000 highway miles on body and drivetrain, Engine was replaced at 131000 miles with a factory engine from dealer ($17,000.00) and is a new engine not a remanufactured one! truck runs, shifts and drives as new, no play, no road walk, I have installed 6 new Michelin tires ($3,000.00) with approx. 3000 miles on them, it has DPF delete, EGR delete, and a H&S mini max tuner capable of tuning a extra 350hp, and aftermarket airbox and K&N filter.($2,000.00). The truck is geared 488 and gets 15-17 miles per gallon since installing EGR and DPF delete. This is my daily driver so mileage may increase but no more than 5-600 miles
It has a hide a way gooseneck ball in bed., all power options, back up sensors. service has been kept up every 5000 miles since new
truck is very clean exterior and interior, carpet has a wear spot that you can see in picture beside the gas pedal. seats show very little wear. exterior is in nice shape with the exception of a dent in the left rear of the bumper.
I will provide documentation to potential buyers to verify installation of new engine.

Ford doubling 1.0L EcoBoost engine production
Fri, 06 Sep 2013Ford's 1.0-liter EcoBoost three-cylinder engine hasn't been around that long, but it sounds like the engine is getting to be fairly popular in the automaker's global car lineup. The Detroit News is reporting that Ford has add a second shift that will allow its German engine plant to double daily output from 500 engines to 1,000.
The increased capacity is part of a plan to sell more than 300,000 vehicles a year with this engine in Europe by 2015. Europe is currently the only market where the smallest of the EcoBoost engines is offered (including in the Focus pictured above), but US-spec Fiesta models will be getting this mill for 2014.
Three-cylinder engines are expected to continue to grow in popularity in coming years with the report indicating that global production of these engines will double by 2018 to 9.8 million units. General Motors, BMW and Mitsubishi are all expected to introduce three-cylinder engines in the near term, as well.

Yes, the first 2015 Mustang to be sold to the public will be crossing the block at Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale, with proceeds from the auction going to JDRF, the charity formerly known as the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
"Ford Mustangs have always been among the most popular collector cars at Barrett-Jackson Collector Car events," said the president of Barrett-Jackson, Steve Davis. "While every collector wishes they had snapped up the first Mustang sold in 1964, this is an opportunity to realize that dream in a different way."
Ford recalling nearly 700k Escape CUVs, C-Max hybrids over two separate safety issues
Fri, 09 May 2014Poor Escape. Ever since its launch in 2012, Ford's small CUV has been the subject of many, many, many recalls. And today, The Detroit News is reporting that Ford is adding two more recalls to the 2013-14 model year Escape's permanent record, one of them also involves the C-Max hybrid hatchback.
The first recall, covering 692,500 Escape and C-Max vehicles, is due to a software glitch that could cause the airbags - specifically, the safety canopy - to not deploy in a timely fashion during rollover crashes. According to the News, Ford says no crashes or injuries have been reported in relation to this problem.
The second recall, covering 692,700 Escapes, is related to the door handles. The News reports that the exterior door handles could open while the vehicle is in motion, and could also fail to latch properly. Once again, no crashes or injuries have occurred because of this. The National Highway Safety Traffic Administration has not issued an official notice on either recall as of this writing.
