UTILITY BODY WERKS ELITE HAULER BED ($15,000.00)

Goose neck and fifth wheel hitches.

google utilitybodywerks to check out the bed

This is a really cool bed.

Issues:
Has new front tires in last 5000 miles. Needs rear tires.
small windshield ding.
rear fender flare dented. have a new one to install.
normal wear and tear on interior. it's nice. and details great.
The bed is aluminum, with fairing compound, and painted. the previous owner scratched it up pretty good and it needs to be painted if your looking for perfection. I left it alone. see pictures.

I use this truck to haul boats locally and used it to haul a catering trailer. I recently sold the catering trailer and don't need this much truck - but I like it allot - so i'm looking for someone that want's it worse than I do - not worried about keeping it. Not looking for wholesale offers. The truck has never had a "chip" or any exhaust work. If I keep it I'll probably modify it.

Warranty-
The truck has extended powertrain warranty that expires in November 2014. Unlimited Milage. I have NO clue if you could purchase additional warranty.

I am NOT A DEALER. I've bought and sold several boats and trucks on ebay. If your not familiar with the process please ask and i'll walk you through the process.  I bought this truck on ebay 2-3 years ago. I am the second owner.

BUYER is responsible for Pick UP and any shipping costs from Port Aransas Texas 78373. Closest airport is Corpus Christi - CRP

Truck is for sale locally and auction subject to end.  Your welcome to come see it. If you bid and win and don't like it when you come to get it I have no issue CXL'ing the auction. Please don't come thinking you'll negotiate further on the agreed price.

I will consider offers but not really interested in negotiating much less than the cost of a couple tires.

Tanner Foust tackles 'Ring in SVT Raptor

Sat, 16 Mar 2013

Here's a math problem: if Tanner Foust has a 24 hours to kill in Germany and one blue Ford Raptor, how long will it take him to decide he wants to lap The Nürburgring? Extra credit if you can get your answer precise to the millisecond.
A very truck-like and slidey lap of the 'Ring is exactly what happened when the Ford-sponsored rallycross driver took time off from set-up duties for his 'day job.' Thankfully no one even thought to worry about posting a time, but you can watch some Raptor skid marks getting laid down between the kerbs in the video below.

Toyota fears supplier pressure in Australia with GM pull out

Wed, 11 Dec 2013

With Ford and General Motors both announcing an end to production in Australia, the country's auto industry is in a bad way. With the exit of two big players, there's increased concern that a third Australian manufacturer, Toyota, will be forced out, as well.
"We are saddened to learn of GM Holden's decision. This will place unprecedented pressure on the local supplier network and our ability to build cars in Australia," Toyota Australia said in a statement. The GM closure of Holden production will be the direct end to 2,900 jobs, but will also force a dramatic reduction in the size of the country's supplier network, as there will simply be fewer cars to build.
In the same statement, Toyota Australia said it would work with suppliers and local government to figure out whether continuing production Down Under was even feasible. According to Automotive News, a representative for the Australian Manufacturing Workers' Union told reporters it was "highly likely" that Toyota would also close up shop within the next few years.

Chrysler called out over lackluster Ram Runner by racer who helped develop it

Fri, 11 Apr 2014

Fans of off-roading and desert blasting might recall that Chrysler offers an aftermarket conversion that can turn a Ram 1500 into a road-legal desert racer, called the Ram Runner. The kit, sold through Mopar, includes some significant suspension upgrades, body tweaks and a brawnier cat-back exhaust for the truck's 5.7-liter V8.
Considering all of this, comparisons with the almighty Ford F-150 SVT Raptor are common. Among the off-road community, that makes these two a sort of Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Mustang for people that prefer driving on dirt. In the Race-Dezert forum, the discussion as to which truck was better was proceeding as normal - Ram fans said their piece and Ford fans said theirs. Then, a man named Kent Kroeker offered up his two cents.
See, Kroeker is a Baja racer, and the man that helped develop the Ram Runner. Despite his association with the truck, though, he had some less than kind words for Chrysler and the Ram Runner.
