2004 Ford F-450 Superduty 4x4 Turbo Diesel Service Truck Contractors Truck on 2040-cars
Goshen, Indiana, United States
THIS IS A VERY NICE, CLEAN SERVICE TRUCK WITH A LOT OF ENGINE UPDATES AND IS MECHANICALLY VERY SOUND. I PURCHASED THE TRUCK FROM A COMPANY THAT HAD THIS AT A SHOP FOR TWO AND A HALF YEARS AND COULDNT FIGURE OUT WHAT WAS WRONG AND SO THEY INSTALLED THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS WORTH OF PARTS ON THE ENGINE TILL THE OWNER GAVE UP AND SOLD IT. I FOUND IT TO HAVE A SIMPLE OILING PROBLEM IN THE LOW SIDE PUMP AND REPLACED IT. THE TRUCK STARTED RIGHTUP AND HAS RUN GREAT EVER SINCE. NEW PARTS INCLUDE HIGH PRESSURE OIL PUMP, IPR VALVE, IPC SENSOR, FICM (FUEL INJECTOR CONTROL MODULE), CRANK POSITION SENSOR, CAM POSITION SENSOR, FUEL FILTERS, LOW PRESSURE OIL PUMP, EGR DELETE SYSTEM, AND GLOW PLUGS. I OWN A DIESEL PERFORMANCE AND REPAIR FACILITY AND SPECIALIZE IN THE 6.0L POWERSTROKE SO I FEEL VERY CONFIDENT IN THIS TRUCK. ITS AN F-450, 4X4, AUTOMATIC, DUALLY. OVERALL CODITION IS VERY GOOD BUT NOT PERFECT. ONLY THING I THINK IT NEEDS RIGHT NOW IS FRONT SHOCKS, OTHERWISE YOU CAN PUT IT TO WORK IMEDIATLY, IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO CALL WITH QUETIONS OR OFFERS PLEASE FEEL FREE BUT IF YOU DONT HAVE THE MONEY TO MAKE AN OFFER OR NEED PERMISSION FROM YOUR BANKER, WIFE OR PARENTS PLEASE DO THAT BEFORE CALLING AS I WOULD APPRECIATE ONLY SERIOUS BUYERS CALLING TO MAKE OFFERS OR ASK QUETIONS. IF THATS YOU THEN CALL WILL AT 574-361-0449

2015 Ford F-150 spied in the rain
Mon, 10 Jun 2013Standing as quite a contrast from the spy shots of the 2015 Ford Mustang we saw earlier today, our spies also sent along these pictures of the next-generation F-150 pickup out testing in its (heavily camouflaged) full prototype body. Much of the new truck's design is hidden under the bulky coveralls, but we expect a lot of its new lines to be inspired by the Atlas concept that debuted at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show.
Perhaps the biggest unknown surrounding the new F-150 is what, exactly, its body will be made of. Earlier reports have suggested that lightweight aluminum materials may be used throughout, offering a serious reduction in weight versus previous models. But Ford engineers will need to be careful, though, as they need to keep a tight rein on costs while preserving class-competitive (if not class-leading) towing and payload capacity.
On the powertrain front, the new F-150 will undoubtedly carry on with EcoBoost engines, and we'd bet on a normally aspirated V8 as well. A diesel option hasn't been confirmed, but we wouldn't be surprised to see one some time in the truck's lifecycle. Mum's the word on when the production F-150 will be revealed, but our best guess is that we'll see it at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show.
2015 Ford Mustang: Obsessively covered [w/videos + poll]
Thu, 05 Dec 2013Here at Autoblog, we've officially stamped December 5, 2013, as Ford Mustang Day. Sure, the sixth-generation Pony Car started leaking out onto the web days ago, but all of the official, non-embargoed hotness has come out today. And man, there's been a lot.
In terms of new car debuts, this is a really big one - not unlike all of the Corvette madness that kicked off the 2013 automotive season. So to make sure you haven't missed anything, here's a wrap-up of everything you need to know about the 2015 Ford Mustang.

Social media star Scott Monty leaves Ford
Thu, 22 May 2014It seems weird to think that an automaker could have a social media star, but Ford does. Or at least it did. Scott Monty, its Global Digital Communications Manager, led the company's team for almost six years and forged a reputation as being one of the most talented people in corporate social media. But the guru recently announced that he would be leaving the automaker for an undisclosed job elsewhere.
"I just decided the time was right. I am going to take a little time with my family, and I am going to start on a new adventure pretty soon," said Monty in an interview with AdWeek. He also explained a little about his theory of how companies should use social media. In his opinion, it should be a chance to go beyond standard marketing and build a relationship with people. Businesses need to have a broad focus for its online message, and using just one service isn't enough to be successful.
Under his guidance, Ford expanded its Facebook presence significantly. According to AdWeek, it launched the 2010 Explorer on the popular site. Also, when the company wanted to investigate selling electric models, it initially gauged the public's reaction on Facebook and then advertised them there first. Monty has been a major supporter of Twitter as well to broaden the company's communication with the public.
