This auction is for a 1999 Ford F-450 utility bed with lots of tool boxes. The truck has the 7.3L turbo diesel with an automatic transmission. It runs and drives great with no known mechanical issues. The AC blows cold and all 6 tires have good tread remaining. This truck was regularly serviced and maintained. The body is in nice shape still and the truck still has a lot of life left in it. The truck also is set up with an auxillary controller to run other equipment if needed. Saab-powered Ford is the most unlikely drift car we've seen
Tue, Jan 19 2016Yes, you read that headline correctly. It's supposed to be a Saab-powered Ford, and not the other way around (although we fully support the notion of a Sonnet with a Flathead V8). Apparently, some lunatic in the UK took an ass-less 1953 Ford Anglia, paired it with a turbocharged Saab engine, and tuned the entire thing to go drifting. We like it. Called Urchfab, it's the subject of Carfection's (the blokes formerly known as XCar) latest video. Aside from looking like an extra from the British version of Mad Max, it has a problem with grip, in that there's just too much of it. This car is a fabber's dream, as we get to see its unnamed owner fashion new bits and bobs for the suspension before having an unfortunate encounter with a wall at Castle Combe. A tribute to William Clay Ford
Tue, 11 Mar 2014The passing of William Clay Ford has been a big event for the company he spent most of his life helping run. Ford spent 57 years working for his family's company. Considering the Blue Oval has been around for over 100 years, WCF's passing is the end of an era for the Dearborn-based manufacturer.
Ford's YouTube channel has issued a short memorial video highlighting the life of the longest-lived grandson of company founder Henry Ford. It follows William Clay from his time as a boy, showing him alongside his grandfather, through his younger years, and into his twilight, as the patriarch of the Ford family.
