I've had this truck since Spring of 2007 and its been great! Its an awesome work truck for someone who can appreciate it; I just can't justify having such a big truck anymore and decided to try something new. The truck is a real monster and can pull the house down. 4 wheel drive works great. Manual locking hubs. The all mechanical 7.3l diesel is a beast that can pull anything and has never given me any trouble; these engines last forever. The automatic transmission was rebuilt about 5,000 miles ago last summer and shifts very smoothly. I have an air system rigged up on the truck with a compressor in the engine compartment and a tank mounted behind the seat. A pull chain overhead operates a pair of air horns that are mounted to the roof that are obnoxiously loud and clutch when people are being stupid on the road. Cruise control works, radio works, power windows work. Has a 12,000 lb capacity rear hitch as well as a front hitch. Tool box in the back is mounted by a set of u-bolts that serve as solid mounts for tying things down in the bed. The truck has always had a bed liner and there isn't a speck of rust on the bed. For as long as I've had it I've been very good at maintaining the truck and changing the fluids. I can show a history if the truck's maintenance if requested. Give me a call if you're interested at 410-920-1483. Make an offer
The Good
Very reliable 7.3l diesel engine
Newly Rebuilt auto trans and new torque converter
Air Horns
Working Cruise Control
Rear and Front Hitch
Two Brand New Batteries
Relatively new vacuum pump and brake boost
All new universal joints on forward driveshaft
Mechanically Sound
The Bad
Really there's just one thing... the rust. The frame and suspension are solid but there is a good amount of cosmetic rust especially on the cab. Some attention may be needed in the near future to repair the cab mounts underneath as the rust spreads.
Oh and there is a large crack in the windshield. I parked it in the back yard and a poorly thrown baseball found it. It will cost $207 to replace and I could see it done its just hard to put money into a truck that I'm selling.
If you look in the vehicle history it shows a problem with the odometer. That's because it rolls back to zero every 100,000 so it has "exceeded its mechanical limits". So long as the previous owner was honest to me about the mileage it is 211,000.

Ken Block's 1965 Ford Mustang Hoonicorn RTR and CR Supercars Villain are retro done right
Wed, 05 Nov 2014Gymkhana king Ken Block has had a pretty simple car history in his trademark videos, starting out with Subaru Impreza rally cars before moving into Ford Focus racers for the past four installments. His next video, though, Gymkhana Seven, kind of goes back in time.
Rather than the cutting-edge rally racers of past videos, Block will pilot a heavily modified 1965 Ford Mustang, called the Hoonicorn. How heavily modified is it? Well, Block's Hooligan Racing Division, ASD Motorsports and Vaughn Gittin Jr.'s RTR, spent two years working on it, ditching the standard engine and rear-wheel-drive layout and replacing it with a 410-cubic-inch Roush Yates V8. Yes, that's a NASCAR engine, and it produces 845 horsepower.
A NASCAR-powered Mustang would be news in itself, but it's the other powertrain changes made by Block and Co. that really makes headlines. Power is channeled through a one-off Sadev transmission and all-wheel-drive system, meaning that Block has basically married a NASCAR stock car with a WRC racer. ASD also developed the customized suspension, tubular chassis and roll cage. The wide Mustang body is the work of RTR and Block's own Hoonigan Racing Division, while the 18-inch fifteen52 wheels are shod in Pirelli Trofeo R tires that use a specialized compound exclusive to Block.
Ford nets $5.7B in 2012, $1.6B in fourth quarter
Tue, 29 Jan 2013Ford brought in $5.7 billion in net income during 2012, which is around $307 million less than one year prior. Even so, the automaker closed out 2012 with the highest pre-tax profit for a single quarter in nearly 10 years, earning $1.7 billion in the fourth quarter thanks largely to a higher-than-average truck mix in the US. That's a jump of $577 million over 2011. Likewise, that translated into fourth quarter income of $1.6 billion. All told, Ford set a full-year pre-tax profit record in 2012. But that doesn't necessarily mean everything is rosy in the land of the Blue Oval.
Like every other manufacturer, 2012 saw Ford get hammered in the European Union, where a deep economic recession continues to drive down consumer confidence. The automaker lost more than $700 million in Europe, and saw full revenue of $26.6 billion in 2012. That's a decline of $7.2 billion compared to last yea. Ford says the market for new vehicles in Europe has contracted to 13.5 million units, the lowest number in 17 years. You can read the full press release below for more information.
Ford's official Euro aftermarket partner Mountune coming to US
Tue, 06 Aug 2013Now that we're getting a steady stream of Ford's European offerings, the aftermarket world is finally starting to catch up as well. UK-based aftermarket tuning company, Mountune has just announced that it will be setting up shop in California to provide high-performance and racing parts for Ford vehicles including the Focus ST and Fiesta ST.
Mountune lays claim to being Ford's "official European tuning partner," and US buyers will soon have access to these parts through Ford dealerships and with a Ford Racing warranty. Speaking of Ford Racing, Mountune also says that it will be working with Ford's in-house team to develop future components for both street and track. There are no specifics as of yet for which products will be offered here, but the company plans to launch a US-specific website later this month with more information.
