This is a 1999 Ford 350 Regular cab 4x4 with the 7.3 Powerstroke diesel. It has VERY low original miles. The carfax report will verify this.

It has a suspension lift, I am unsure of the brand. Dual shocks up front, single in the rear and a single steering stabalizer. It is riding on 37x12.5 BFG Mud Terrain Tires which have around 6,000 miles on them and tons of tread. Wheels are Moto Metal 17's, they look great put are begining to pit near the lugs. The tires easily clear the wheel wells and do not rub when turning. The motor is pretty much stock. It does have an Air Raid intake and Banks Big Head. The turbo is stock. The truck has a TS 6 position tuner it settings for stock, high idle, 50, 75, 100, and 140 HP. I put this on when the truck had 59,000 miles. The rear differential has a Detroit locker. The front is equipped with an air locker from ARB. There is no compressor for it but the rest of the system is installed including the differential harware, rocker switches, compressor mounting bracket behind the seat and all wiring.

It has a Banks A pillar gauge pod for boost, egt/pyro, and trans temp. EGTs are around 450 in normal driving. The exhaust system is a full MBRP stainless 4". The transmission is a 4R1000 capable of handling 1000 lb ft. It also has a high capacity Mag Hytec trans pan and aftermarket valve body. The is no slippage EVER and trans temps rarely exceed 160 on the hottest days. The bed is from a 2008 superduty. The rear bumper is custom made steel with stainless trim and offroad lights. The lights are not wired but a PIAA switch is wired in the cab for them. The batteries are yellow tops, new last fall. There is no block heater but I have never needed one. The truck starts up easily on sub zero mornings.

The head unit is a BOSS audio 7 in double din touch screen. It has AM FM DVD CD SD card and AUX inputs and can be wired for TV Bluetooth and Satnav. It is wired for movies while driving. The speakers are Pioneer and the Sub is an AudioPipe 12" in an enclosed box. The sub and amp are mounted behind the passenger seat.
The truck has custom molded  heavy duty floor mats that cover everything. Carpet is in great condition

Factory options are power windows and doors, keyless entry, cruise control, and A/C

Ford supports bid for Detroit Rallycross race with Motown-minded Fiesta ST vid

Mon, 01 Jul 2013

As Ford continues its cheerleading effort to help bring the 2014 Summer X Games to its hometown of Detroit, MI, it has released footage of its 2014 Fiesta ST Rallycross car on location at some of the city's well-known landmarks. This video appears to have been shot around the same time as the previous X Games Detroit video was made, but it focuses 100-percent on rally car action.
With Ford Racing driver Andreas Eriksson behind the wheel, this Fiesta ST lays down some serious rubber atop Detroit's Cobo Hall parking structure, at Belle Isle and around the Michigan Central Depot. Detroit isn't alone in the bid for a three-year X Games contract as Chicago, Austin and Charlotte are also hoping to play host. The winning host city is expected to be announced this summer. Scroll down for Ford's two-minute video showing the Fiesta ST Rallycrossing through the Motor City.

Yearly auto recall record demolished in 6 months

Tue, Jul 1 2014

With nearly 40 million vehicles under repair campaigns and counting, 2014 will almost certainly go down as the year of the automotive recall. At just past the halfway mark, we are already at record levels, and there aren't any signs that the epidemic is slowing. General Motors' latest 8.4 million vehicle recall in the US puts the industry over the top for the title of the most cars with fixes pending from automakers ever. That's a prize no one ever wants to receive. According to TheDetroitBureau.com, the US recall total has hit 39.85-million vehicles to surpass the previous record of 33.01 million in 2004. Perhaps more surprising, with over 26 million repairs pending, it's still quite possibly that GM could recall more vehicles by the end of the year than the 27.96-million unit total of the entire US auto industry last year. With over 40 campaigns under its belt in 2014, the roughly one million cars it would take would hardly come as a surprise at this point, especially with increased government scrutiny into the Detroit automaker's processes. The pace of recalls started off relatively normal this year, with just a smattering of campaigns. The most surprising early on was Aston Martin calling in about 75 percent of its output since 2007 due to counterfeit plastic, but with just a few thousand cars, it was relatively tiny in pure numbers. GM really kicked things off soon after, but we didn't know it at the time. It issued its first bulletin for 778,000 Cobalt compacts in early February. Things only ballooned from there as more models were added to its growing ignition switch problem. The onslaught of announcements from every major automaker hasn't abated since then. Some industry executives are trying to put a positive spin on the situation. "With what's transpired (in recent months), there's a higher level of scrutiny," said Joe Hinrichs, Ford president of the Americas, to TheDetroitBureau.com. He believes that automakers are looking at data much more thoroughly than before, and it means better customer safety. Still, many consumers probably wish these problems had been found before their car went on sale.

This woman owns the first Ford Mustang sold in the US

Wed, 11 Dec 2013

As Ford celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Mustang with the unveiling of the all-new sixth-gen design, one Chicago women can lay claim to a piece of Mustang history. According to CBS Chicago, Gail Wise was the first person in the US to buy a Mustang in 1964, and she did so two days before the car was even unveiled to the public.
Wise, then a 22-year-old teacher, went into the Chicago Ford dealership wanting to buy a convertible, and a salesperson ushered her over to car covered by a tarp. That car was a baby blue Mustang convertible, which she still owns today - along with the documentation. After sitting for almost 30 years and undergoing a full restoration, the car now looks to be in original condition. The report says that this $3,400 purchase could be worth anywhere between $100,000 and $250,000. While this worked out well for Mrs. Wise, we wouldn't recommend anyone going into a dark, back room of a dealership hoping to get a jump on the purchase of a 2015 Mustang.
