2003 Ford F-350 Four Door Dually King Ranch Loaded Saddle Leather Very Nice! on 2040-cars
Goshen, Indiana, United States
this is a 2003 ford f-350 4 door dually fully loaded king ranch turbo diesel. I purchased this truck from a customer that did not want to spend the money to fix it. when I received the truck it blown head gaskets. because I own a diesel repair facility that specializes in diagnoses and repair we went ahead and completely Bullitt proofed the engine. this is the list of everything we did and it has less than 100 miles on these parts. head gaskets, fuel injector control module (ficm), injectors, egr delete, high pressure oil pump, ipr valve, ipc sensor, crank sensor, cam sensor, fuel pressure regulater "blue spring kit", high pressure oil feed lines, high pressure oil manifold rebuild kit, high pressure oil stand pipes, low pressure oil pump (gearator pump) fan clutch, oil pressure switch, oil temp sensor, oil cooler, and upgraded head bolts. I am selling the truck for just a little over what I have into it with buying it and repairs, so im not trying to get rich off of it but not trying to loose money on it either. this truck is ready to work or play. its not perfect as you can see but is worth every penny im asking and much more. if you need to get permission from your wife, parents, or banker please do that before you call me to make an offer. if your a serious buyer you can call me with questions or to make an offer. 574-361-0449 the back right dually tub is broken. the bed itself is not damaged but the dually tub will need replaced. |

Ford hiring 800 more salaried workers than originally expected
Wed, 24 Jul 2013Ford is on a roll this year, with excellent quarterly earnings and better-than-expected vehicle sales leading to 800 more job opportunities with the Blue Oval. In January, Ford announced that it wanted to hire 2,200 salaried employees, but, since then, that figure has been revised to 3,000, representing a 36-percent increase over original projections. About 1,500 of those jobs remain, 80 percent of which are technical professional positions.
"Engineers and technical professionals are in as much demand as our cars, trucks and SUVs," says Felicia Fields, Ford Group Vice President for Human Resources. Helping to spur this job growth are increasing market share on both the West and East Coast and robust demand for the Ford Escape and F-150.
To find job candidates, Ford is reaching out to them via Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, in addition to the company's corporate career site. The Blue Oval is also ramping up its presence on college campuses.
Brits recreate iconic Bullitt chase scene
Tue, 13 May 2014Recreating the famous chase scene from Bullitt has become almost an art form in its own right. We've seen it done in a music video, with scale models and even in commercials. There are few films that are as defined by a single scene as the 1968 classic. Even if you don't know a single beat of the plot, the Highland Green Ford Mustang racing a Dodge Charger through the hilly streets of San Francisco is famous. It's so well known that the Silverstone Classic has created a homage to promote its celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Mustang at this year's event in July.
Filmed around the famous UK circuit, the short film generally gets the key points of the scene right. It even has a green Volkswagen Beetle that keeps reappearing, as in the movie. Unfortunately, its Steve McQueen stand-in looks a little too old for the role. While the video shortens the chase considerably, it's still great to see these '60s behemoths leaning and sliding around the track. Scroll down for a touch of nostalgia thanks to one of the greatest scenes ever in cinema - we've got both the recreation and the original chase seen from the movie waiting for you.
Ford Fiesta becomes UK all-time best seller
Thu, 24 Jul 2014We may regard Ford as an American automaker, but ask a Brit and they may tell you otherwise. The Blue Oval has, after all, been selling cars in the UK since 1903, and started manufacturing there as far back as 1911 when it began local production of the Model T in Manchester. Last year Ford ended 100 years of vehicle manufacturing in the UK when the last Transit van rolled off the assembly line in Southampton, but it's still the biggest-selling automotive marque in Britain.
Ford has led the British market for 34 out of the past 45 years, selling more Fiestas than any other company sells any other car in the UK since 2009... when it overtook the Focus. In fact the Fiesta has now become the best-selling car in British history, topping 4,115,000 units since its introduction in 1976. The previous record was held by - you guessed it - another Ford: the Escort sold 4,105,961 units over the course of its 32 years on the British market.
Although the Fiesta is no longer manufactured in the UK (previous versions having been built at Dagenham until 2002), engines are: the EcoBoost line was developed at the company's R&D center in Essex and are built at the factory in Dunton, while its diesel engines were developed at Dagenham in East London. Even the 1.6-liter EcoBoost engine in the Fiesta ST is built in South Wales.
