Up for sale is my 1 owner 2003 F-350 Dually wheels perfect for towing Runs great have never had any problems will out tow all the newer trucks any day . I originally bought the truck to tow my car to the Drag races in a 28 ft enclosed trailer . It then got moved up to tow a 29 ft fifth wheel camping trailer or my car trailer full of Harley's to a motorcycle rally or my 25 ft boat ... I have always used this truck for towing its been really good to me went to places like Alaska, Calif, South padre Island Tx. Sturgis , Las Vegas , Daytona Beach Fl lake havasu Ariz. Puerto Penasco Mexico and lots more all with no problems at all .. My dad has a 2008 ford f-350 twin turbo bigger engine and his truck will slow down a lot every time he hits a hill My truck on the other hand will go up the same hill towing twice the weight in cruise control with a smaller motor single turbo and will not lose any speed at all The only reason I'm selling it is I bought an RV and I tow My boat or Motoercycles with the RV now My truck Has been Sitting in the yard for about 8 months now I do start it every 2 weeks ... Any ways This is what I have in my Truck custom chrome grill , Chrome brush guard, chrome nerf bars, Chrome door handles, chrome fender trim, bed liner, hide away ball in the bed for Fifth wheel, and a power commander for towing installed in it.. has been installed for about 5 years never gave me any problems all In all it's a hell of a truck I really hate to see it go but some one can use a really good towing truck out there better then being parked it my yard, If you have any Questions about the truck please don't hesitate to call 505-929-4822 Ask For Rick

Hennessey completes first VelociRaptor SUV conversion [w/video]
Mon, 20 May 2013Start with a Ford F-150 SVT Raptor as your base vehicle for modification, and chances are high that you'll end up with something pretty cool. Now, have those modifications done by professional lunatics Hennessey Performance, make the project turning the pickup into an ultra-long SUV, and the result stands a real chance of being a total kick in the ass. Let us present the Hennessey VelociRaptor then, in all of its awesomeness.
Hennessey has taken care in grafting a "Expedition style" rear cabin onto the Raptor, complete with an optional third row. The pictures we have show a cabin that's up to the fit and finish standards of the original Ford truck, too. The cab added over the bed also makes room for a massive load space out back, accessible via split out-folding doors and long enough for a person to lay down in (see video).
Mechanically, the truck-turned-SUV sticks with Ford's stock 6.2-liter V8, rated at 411 horsepower, or can be had with a supercharger and some 600 hp. Hennessey says the stock-motor VelociRaptor will run from 0-60 miles per hour in 7.5 seconds, while the hi-po version takes just 5.9 seconds. The SUV does take some of the off-road ability away from the Raptor, with the company saying it hasn't yet had the opportunity to test its capabilities. On-roading and "moderate off-road duties" are the current prescription.
Ford recalling nearly 24,000 Focus EV and C-Max models over door chime
Fri, 04 Oct 2013Ford will be voluntarily recalling 23,830 Focus Electric and C-Max Hybrid and Energi models equipped with push-button ignition, according to The Detroit News. Why? Because the cars don't make a noise when the driver's door is open, and are therefore in violation of federal regulations. It's not as silly as Honda's badging recall that isn't a recall, but it's close.
Actually, that's not exactly fair. The chime is supposed to come on when the driver's door is open, as it reminds drivers not to leave their cars on or leave key fobs in the car, an easy thing to forget when the cars in question make virtually no noise at idle and do not require keys in ignitions.
The recall, which Ford is conducting voluntarily, covers 2012 and 2013 Focus Electric hatchbacks and 2013 C-Max Hybrid and Energi models. The overwhelming majority, around 22,900 units, were sold in the US, while the remaining 900 units are in Canada. How many of each model are covered in the recall is not immediately clear.
Fitting Retirement: Grand Marquis last Mercury off the line
Wed, 05 Jan 2011The signs have come down and retail production ended back in October of 2010. Now, the very last Mercury model has rolled off the assembly line. This last Mercury somewhat fittingly takes the form of a Grand Marquis reporting for fleet duty. It was built at the St. Thomas plant in Ontario, Canada, which is the same facility that continues to produce the Ford Crown Victoria and Lincoln Town Car for fleet and livery duty.
St. Thomas' days are numbered, however, as the factory is slated to close on August 31. When it goes, the Panther platform is likely to follow. So long, and thanks for all the fish memories.
