HISTORY
Truck was purchased at the auction as a 02 F250 Crew cab XLT 7.3 diesel 4x4 single rear wheel short bed.
It looked to be a one owner truck since the title we have listed the mileage as being original as of the purchase date. Mileage on cluster is true and accurate. Truck was clean and well maintained.

WHAT WE DID
When we started putting this truck together we had no intention of rushing it, or to sell it by any means, we customized it to keep it, so we did things our way, and the right way.
- Replace the frame, axles, springs, bed, wheels and tires out of a 2006 F350 dually.
- Revised and resealed the engine
- 2 new Motorcraft batteries
- Rebuilt Transmission, PTO compatible
- New front bumper, headlights, grille and mirrors
- Truck was painted on the exterior
- Installed 2010 Tailgate, tail lights, running boards and rear bumper
- Seats, door panels, dash bezel and steering wheel out of a 2004 F350 King Ranch 68k miles
- MBRP Performance Exhaust
- New Edge Computer Chip Programmer (never used on the truck, need to be installed)
- Bed liner and dually spare tire
*** All parts were off of vehicles that I bought at the auction, so I have title for all of it.

Truck runs strong like a 7.3 should. Is very tight and drives like a 6.4. Sounds very healthy. No leaks, no smoke.  It’s a clean truck inside and out, from top to bottom. No rust. Everything looks original, not even a bolt missing. Will let the pictures do the talking, but encourage you to come see it and hear it run – yes, you can drive it too :)

Truck is priced right to make new owner happy with the purchase. And we strongly believe this truck is worth every penny you will pay for!!!

Ford Mustang pinball machine has supple wrist, plays by sense of smell [w/video]

Fri, 07 Feb 2014

Ford didn't have anything major to show off at the 2014 Chicago Auto Show, so it seems it instead opted to have some fun - it brought a row of pinball machines to the show. Yes, pinball machines.
We originally told you about the Stern Pinball Ford Mustang machine a few days ago, and as day two of the Chicago show is a bit of a slow one, we opted to head to the show floor and get some snaps of the bank of new machines. Not surprisingly, there's plenty for the Mustang fan in each of these machines, ranging frond different models, to logos to a full model.
Take a look below for our full gallery of live shots, available up top. Then head below for our original gallery of stock images, along with a video and press release on the new machines.

Auto sales in March and first quarter down nearly across the board

Wed, Apr 3 2019

Nearly every major automaker reported weak U.S. sales for March and the first quarter of 2019, citing a rough start to the year, but said a robust economy and strong labor market should encourage consumers to buy more vehicles as 2019 rolls on. GM, which no longer releases monthly sales figures, saw first-quarter sales fall 7 percent, with declines across all brands. Sales of Silverado pickup trucks fell nearly 16 percent and the high-margin Chevy Suburban large SUV dropped 25 percent. Ford also no longer releases monthly sales numbers, but is due to release its first-quarter sales figures on Thursday. According to industry data, Ford's sales fell 2 percent in the quarter and 5 percent in March. Ford representatives did not immediately respond to requests for comment. FCA reported a 7 percent fall in U.S. sales in March and a 3 percent drop for the first quarter. All of FCA's brands dropped in March, except for Ram, which saw a 15 percent increase in pickup truck sales. "The industry had a tough first quarter, but with spring finally starting to show its face and continued strong economic indicators ... we are confident that new vehicle sales demand will strengthen going forward," FCA's U.S. head of sales, Reid Bigland, said in a statement. Toyota reported a 3.5 percent fall in U.S. sales in March and 5 percent for the first quarter, hurt by declining demand for its Corolla sedans and Camry vehicles. "While some of our competitors are abandoning sedans, we remain optimistic about the future of the segment," Toyota said in a statement. Nissan posted a 5.3 percent drop in sales in March, and its first-quarter sales were down 11.6 percent. Honda and Hyundai bucked the trend. Honda's U.S. sales rose 4.3 percent in March and 2 percent in the quarter, while Hyundai's were up 1.7 percent and 2.1 percent, respectively. Passenger-car sales suffered throughout the January-March quarter compared with the same period in 2018 as Americans continued to abandon them in favor of larger, more comfortable pickup trucks and SUVs, which are far more profitable for automakers. The battle for market share in the particularly lucrative large-pickup truck market intensified in the quarter, as Fiat Chrysler Automobiles' Ram brand outsold the U.S.' No. 1 automaker General Motors' Chevrolet-brand trucks. The two automakers have both launched redesigned pickup trucks.

William Clay Ford Sr. dead at 88

Sun, 09 Mar 2014

William Clay Ford, retired vice chairman of Ford Motor Company and the last surviving grandchild of company founder Henry Ford, died this morning after a bout with pneumonia. He was 88.
Ford spent 57 years with his grandfather's company, joining the board of directors in 1948 before graduating from college. Ford also held a position as chairman of the design committee, as well as the chairman of the executive committee and vice chairman of the Board of Directors during his tenure with the company. In a 2013 Detroit Free Press story, retired CFO Allan Gilmour said Ford had an eye for design, and was once able to pick out when a fiberglass model of a Ford Contour was asymmetrical, off by an inch on one side. He retired and assumed the position of director emeritus in 2005.
"My father was a great business leader and humanitarian who dedicated his life to the company and the community," said Bill Ford, Jr., Ford's current executive chairman. "He also was a wonderful family man, a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him, yet he will continue to inspire us all."
