1995 FORD F-350 ( F350 ) DUALLY DUAL REAR WHEEL 7.3 POWERSTROKE DIESEL CREW CAB PICKUP. TRUCK IS NEAR MINT. IT HAS SUPER LOW MILES 44,864.4. CLEAN CARFAX AND AUTOCHECK. TRUCK IS VIRTUALLY SPOTLESS. I AM THE SECOND OWNER AND REALLY DON'T WANT TO SELL IT. I JUST DON'T NEED A DUALLY ANYMORE. TRUCK HAS NEW FRONT BRAKE PADS AND TURNED ROTORS. IT HAS A CUSTOM GOOSENECK HITCH AND STANDARD HITCH. EVERYTHING WORKS ON THIS TRUCK. POWER WINDOWS, POWER LOCKS, CRUISE, ETC... THE TRUCK IS ALMOST ALL ORIGINAL. THE ONLY THING THAT IS NOT ORIGINAL IS THE RADIO ( WHICH I HAVE THE ORIGINAL CASSETTE PLAYER BUT I DON'T THINK IT WORKS ) AND I ADDED A KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM TO THE TRUCK. THE AIR CLEANER PLASTIC BOLTS ARE STILL INTACT AND NOT STRIPPED. MY LOCAL FORD DEALERSHIP TOLD ME THAT THE TRUCK STILL HAS THE ORIGINAL WINDSHIELD WASHER FLUID IN THE RESERVOIR. THE AIR CONDITIONING BLOWS ICE COLD. IT IS STILL THE ORIGINAL FREON ( OLD STYLE R12 ). THERE ARE ONLY A COUPLE THINGS WORTH MENTIONING. THE ROOF OF THE TRUCK HAS ONE SMALL SURFACE RUST SPOT AND SOME CLEAR COAT IS PEELING. THERE ARE 2 HOLES IN THE HEADLINER BETWEEN THE SUNVISORS WHERE A CB RADIO WAS MOUNTED. THAT IS ALL I CAN REALLY THINK OF. THE PAINT SHINES ALMOST LIKE NEW BUT THERE ARE A COUPLE OF CHIPS OUT OF THE PAINT BUT NOTHING TOO NOTICEABLE. I AM BEING EXTREMELY CRITICAL AS I WANT TO BE AS ACCURATE AS POSSIBLE. THERE ARE NO DISAPPOINTMENTS WITH THIS TRUCK. IT IS RARE TO FIND TRUCKS LIKE THESE WITH THIS LOW MILEAGE AND IN THE FANTASTIC CONDITION THAT THIS ONE IS IN. I HAVE THE ORIGINAL WINDOW STICKER AND OWNERS MANUALS. TRUCK HAS 6 BRAND NEW TIRES ON IT. THE TIRES HAVE LESS THAN 2800 MILES ON THEM. TRUCK IS BEING SOLD AS IS AS FOUND WITH NO WARRANTIES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED AND NO RETURNS.

2015 Ford S-Max adds all-wheel drive, adaptive steering

Fri, 03 Oct 2014

The Blue Oval's 'One Ford' mantra has seen rapid commonization of the automaker's products across markets, but North America still has to look from afar at most of the company's Max-branded people movers, including this new S-Max. That's a bit of a shame - we like the space efficiency and above-average driving dynamics of the C-Max models we do get, but seeing this updated seven-seat small minivan makes us want the One Ford initiative to extend even further.
The new model's changes include an updated powertrain range including a 1.5-liter EcoBoost four with 158 horsepower, and a larger, 237-horsepower, 2.0-liter model, along with a pair of revised lower-emissions 2.0-liter diesels. The big news, however, is the advent of available all-wheel drive, something that hasn't been offered since the S-Max first went on sale back in 2006.
On the technology front, the S-Max is the first European model to receive Ford Adaptive Steering, a variable-ratio technology we recently sampled in a prototype Fusion that is expected to go into production on the next-generation Edge. The S-Max also receives a new aluminum-intensive integral link rear suspension, packaged to continue to fit up to 32 different seating combinations. Safety equipment is always a prime concern in kinschleppers like the S-Max, and to that end, this new model receives pre-collision assist technology and LED headlamps.

Woman trades 1914 Model T in for 2013 Corvette

Wed, 17 Apr 2013

We're sure that dealers must see all sorts of interesting trade ins, but this one may take the cake. Red River Chevrolet in Bossier City, Louisiana, recently had a customer come in with an odd request. Tina Boyter wanted to trade in three vehicles on a brand-new 2013 Chevy Corvette. Among the hardware was 1980 Corvette, a 1978 Cadillac Eldorado and a 1914 Ford Model T. While the '80 Corvette had been her personal car for years, the '78 Eldorado had belonged to Boyter's mother before she traded up to a Lincoln. The big Caddy had just 10,290 miles on the clock when it was traded in.
And the Model T? Boyter says the car was built as a racer by Ford, and that it had been a show winner for years when it belonged to her father. But, after spending the last 16 years in a museum with its fluids drained, Boyter decided it was time to shed some of the past. She walked into the dealer, laid eyes on a white 2LT Corvette with a red interior and offered to trade all three of the vehicles in on the sports car.
Why not wait for the C7? "I fell in love with that one when I walked in the door," She said. We can't fault her there.

Martini Mustang is a 'what if moment' gone right

Wed, 23 Oct 2013

Feast your eyes on a masterpiece. This is Steve Strope's Ford Mustang in the classic fastback bodystyle, and as you'll notice, it sports the signature colors of Martini Racing, a livery that's as legendary as any Gulf Racing-styled car. But the red, white and blues of the Martini stripe down this Mustang's middle tell only a very small part of the story, in the latest video from Petrolicious.
What would you guess is under the hood? A 289-cubic-inch V8? Maybe a 302, or some absurd Ford crate engine? Maybe Strope went all Tokyo Drift - he's actually responsible for the "Hammer" Plymouth Satellite driven by Vin Diesel at the end of the movie - and found an RB26DETT to drop into the pony car? You'd be wrong on all counts.
This mad, mad man somehow finagled a Ford-Lotus engine from a 1966 Indianapolis 500 car into the Mustang's engine bay. Yes, a Mustang with an engine designed for a 160-mile-per-hour, open-wheel racecar. That's like someone in 40 years dropping McLaren's 2.4-liter V8 from the MP4-28 into a Scion FR-S. It'd just make a monster.
