We recently opened a used car and truck resale facility in No Oxford, MA and desperately looking for new customers. We want each and every one of our customers to be happy with their purchases and hope they will send their friends to us. In order to accomplish this major task we need to be better then the rest. We need to be honest and up front with everyone and everything we sell. We will do whatever it takes to get your business and then go even further then the sale to keep it..

Our vehicles are purchased from various dealer auctions for resale and the history or maintenance information on them are limited or just plain non existent. Our (in-house buyer) the person who buys the cars and trucks at the auction for us, has been in the retail car and truck business for 20 years and tries to stay clear of all car and trucks that will cause us/you problems down the road. But even the most seasoned buyer is not perfect. So in an effort to be perfectly upfront and honest with our potential buyers, we try our best to "say it as it is". By "saying it as it is" and listing a lot of detailed photos (the good-the bad-and-the ugly) we hope it gives our bidders a better knowledge of the vehicle they may be considering bidding on.

We encourage all buyers to ask as many questions as they wish before the decide to bid. We will do everything in our power to respond to all question in a reasonable amount of time. Should you not get a response to your question please do not assume we are ignoring you. Because that is not the truth all. We are new and we are busy and will do our very best to get back to you as soon as possible. If you do not get a response via email you are always welcome to call our office at 508 731 6364 or email our in house buyer directly at john@frontlinemotorsales.com Please if you have a question ask us before you bid...So many time buyers will assume something that is not so. and that usually spells T R O U B L E  down the road..

Last but not least. When the sale is over and you are determined the winning bidder, You will be expected to pay a reasonable good-faith deposit within 48 hours after the sale ends. We consider a $150.00 good faith deposit fair and this amount will be deducted from the winning sale price. We request that the balance of the sale price be made in person by the winning bidder or by a representative of the winning bidder at the time of pickup. This time can be arranged between the winner bidder and our staff when it is convenient for both of us.. This way, you will have the opportunity to look at your purchase in person and assure our listing was correctly advertised...We want only positive feedback 100% percent of the time...Should you like your purchase and agree that you have made a good deal, we can leave feedback for each other at this time. If you are not happy we will do our best to make you happy up to and including a full refund if we failed to meet our obligations as described in the listing.. Thank you for reading this rather long introduction but we hope after you've finished reading this you may a feel a lot more confident in buying from us... Should you have any ideas, suggestions or requests on how we can better serve you, please send them to john@frontlinemotorsales.com

Thank you

Ford says 70% of its models to get stop-start by 2017

Sun, 15 Dec 2013

Ford is following up on a report we posted a few weeks back that the Blue Oval would be adding stop-start technology to its entire model range. Now, the Dearborn-based automaker has announced that the fuel-saving feature would be available on 70 percent of the company's range by 2017.
Ford claims the technology will improve fuel economy by around 3.5 percent, although its actual effect will vary based on how the owner drives - apparently up to a 10-percent improvement is possible for those who sit in heavy traffic (Los Angelenos, this means you). The latest recipient of the technology is the updated 2014 Ford Fiesta with the company's three-cylinder EcoBoost powerplant.
Part of the reasoning for the new addition has to do with cost. Ford claims the tech is affordable and easy to implement. "Simply put, Auto Start-Stop helps customers use less fuel, which is an important component of Ford's Blueprint for Sustainability," Ford's global powertrain vice president, Bob Fascetti, said.

Next Ford F-150 delayed for aluminum body panel issues?

Wed, 11 Dec 2013

The timetable for next-generation Ford F-150 may be in trouble if a report from The Truth About Cars is true. The next F-150 is slated to make extensive use of weight-saving aluminum in its body, but the aluminum alloy provided by suppliers hasn't met Ford's requirements in the earliest phases of pre-production, according to the report.
The F-150 represents a huge portion of Ford's profits and is the best-selling truck in the US, even in the face of increased pressure from cross-town rivals General Motors and Ram. While the current truck is treading water against its competition, we'd be lying if we said the F-150 weren't growing quite long in the tooth.
If production of the next-generation of the Ford cash cow, said to be based on the Atlas Concept from the 2013 Detroit Auto Show (pictured above), is delayed, it could be bad for Ford. Production at Ford's Dearborn Truck Plant is already set to be delayed six to ten weeks, missing an internal on-sale deadline of Memorial Day.

2015 Ford F-150 shaves 700 pounds, adds 2.7-liter EcoBoost [w/video]

Mon, 13 Jan 2014

The Ford F-150 is one of the best selling vehicles on the planet. Considering that, one can imagine that when it comes time for a redesign, there are hardly any half measures. For its lucky thirteenth generation, Ford has gone all-in on the single most important vehicle in its portfolio, redesigning it from the ground up.
The big news is the F-150's new, lightweight, Atlas-inspired body. Ninety-three percent of that new body is made from a sort of aluminum alloy not unlike what the US military uses in its M2 Bradley fighting vehicles and Humvees, and it accounts for up to 70 percent of the F-150's 700-pound weight reduction. As a side benefit, the aluminum body should prove more resistant to dents and dings. Built Ford tough, indeed.
If you're wondering where the other 30 percent of that 700-pound weight loss went, 8.5 percent (60 pounds) came from the increased use of high-strength steel (up from 23 percent to 77 percent) in its ladder-box frame. Ford claims this steel is comparable to some of the heavy duty pickups used by its competitors, with a PSI rating of 70,000.
