Hello diesel family and friends!!!! Let me introduce myself....

my name is Tom my wife Joy and I have been licensed PA new and used Truck dealers since the late 70's and have been involved in diesel trucks as our speciality. We have recently downsized 5 years ago, to a small mom and pop operation here in carlisle PA (E-Motors) to sell 2 or 3 trucks a month, we are small and I do this more for a hobby than anything else.(low overhead low prices)

I know these 7.3 Powerstroke diesel trucks inside and out and I personally drive one and love these trucks so very much. What I hate the older ones here in the northeast since they just melt away from all the rot and bondo they are loaded up with so I fly out west to California Arizona and other west coast states, and deep in the south to buy a few creampuff 1 owners and drive them home to sell in the northeast to folks who have never seen a no rust old vehicles. Trust me they are not cheep, but worth the extra if you can swing it.

I do not take any trades at all, I do not do financing either, but I am a tag agent and notary, I do airport pickup, rental return, and have hours 7 days a week to pick this beauty up, I also do shipping nationwide or local......

call anytime Tom 717 991 0568

Ok folks, here is a truck that lived out west its whole life I bought it in Northern California a while ago and drove her home to PA. Truck was owned by a powerstroke mechanic like me and believe be it shows.

The exterior body is all factory original no rust, dents, bodywork this is what you'd call a survivor. Frame, oil pan and brake lines all mint! Nice xterior gloss on the paint, spray in liner, nice gate, truck never towed only highway driving from Washington state to California weekly, the miles and service that will get the 1/2 million mark like they are suppose to do.

Interior overall pretty  darn nice too, no stains, smells rips cracking or tears, guys I seen 90K interior not look this nice (or drive). All options working

Mechaniclly is the best part. The 7.3 fires right up on these past cold mornings, good batteries, injectors and glow plugs replaced at 225K according to records and tranny and single mast wheel at 250K. Great power good clean cylinder walls with good compression and no blowing by. Shifts good no grinds or slips, just under 20mpg's highway, 4x4 working good, good tight front end ball joints, brakes ect...Tires are mis matched but tread ok, no leaking or issues that I'm aware of, will include PA state insp sticker to all PA buyers...

Priced to sell my bottom line is buy it now, all reasonable offers considered though, please stop up with cash so I know you are fur real we can deal a little...

Yes, truck is 16 years old has normal wear and tear like stone nicks, parking lot dings, but not excessive at all, very minor, definatly would be proud to have in driveway, as good as any 90K F250 but 1/2 the price makes it a smart persons buy in my opinion!!

thanks Tom 717 991 0568  E motors Carlisle

Ford Focus Electric and ST recalled over lighting issue

Mon, 12 Aug 2013

Ford is recalling 6,308 units of the 2012 and 2013 Focus Electric and 2013 Focus ST that were fitted with HID headlights because a "wiring incompatibility" could keep the front side marker lights from working. A bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says the recall should begin in the middle of this month, after which owners can take their cars to dealers to have the wiring assembly repaired free of charge.
You can find more information in the NHTSA bulletin posted below.

Ford Mustang GT Bi-Fuel CNG

Tue, 23 Jul 2013

Highly intrigued, we recently visited a Southern California Gas Company office to check out several hybrid vehicles promising something new. Unlike more commonplace gasoline-electric hybrids, we were there to evaluate innovative gasoline-compressed natural gas (CNG) hybrids - yes, they run on unleaded gasoline and compressed natural gas. According to the experts on hand, this arrangement delivers extended range and reduced emissions while chipping in with lower operating costs than pure-gasoline vehicles. There are advantages over its gasoline-electric counterparts, as well.
The program is part of a three-way collaboration between The Carlab, a Southern California-based automotive consulting firm, Landi Renzo USA, a company specializing in alternative fuel solutions, and America's Natural Gas Alliance, a group that promotes CNG. Long story short, the team has engineered a way to allow a modified internal combustion vehicle to seamlessly switch between two fuels (gasoline and CNG) with no driver intervention. In theory, and if it works as well as promised, it's a win-win for the vehicle owner and the environment.
Parked at the Gas Company office were six different gasoline-CNG hybrid vehicles. To demonstrate the technology's versatility (just about any gasoline vehicle may be modified) Carlab brought a varied assortment of bodystyles, each from a different automaker. After taking a quick glance at the half-dozen in the parking lot, we made a beeline for the performance-oriented Ford Mustang GT - a 2012 model - with the six-speed manual gearbox.

Ford rethinking vehicle launch strategy

Tue, 07 May 2013

With a new boss at the helm, Ford is looking at new ways to improve its vehicle launches in North America to prevent recent issues that have popped up with models like the Lincoln MKZ, Ford Escape and Ford Fusion. Speaking with Automotive News, Ford's new president of the Americas, Joe Hinrichs, revealed a few ways the automaker plans to avoid early build issues such as the engine fires on certain 2013 Escape and Fusion models and months-long delays for customers to receive their MKZs.
It sounds like the root of the problems may have been Ford's relationship with suppliers compounded by the fact that the product surge came on the heels of the recent industry-crippling recession, and in the AN article, Hinrichs says improvements are being made to reduce problems during the launch of new or redesigned models. Three such improvements that were implemented during the first quarter of this year including more rigorous quality comparisons, better use of computer technology to catch major problems sooner and hiring engineers to work closer with suppliers.
