CUSTOM CAMO INTERIOR TRIM!
Sticker Price: $67,460 ...and has $5,000+ worth of Extras!!!
Clean NADA: $57,850 ...plus the extras!!
Only asking $49,980...the ROUGH TRADE value is $49,000 not including any of the extras so I think my asking is very
reasonable.
This truck is COMPLETELY Loaded, literally the only option it doesn't have is PTO and Fifth wheel hitch. ONE
Owner. Not that you buy a truck for fuel mileage but since I tuned it I get up to 24mpg Highway and about 18.5mpg
around town!
Let's get the bad out first, THE "MINOR ISSUE" on the report was 6 weeks after I bought the truck a car jumped in
front of me and slammed their brakes, I rear ended them. Was a VERY LIGHT collision, literally only damage to
truck was cracked plastic grill and lower section of bumper was bent, I included a pic so you can see for yourself
how minor this was. Accident was ruled other person's fault so this truck was fixed by Ford Shop with all brand
new Genuine Ford parts...NOTHING Aftermarket!!! Due to it going to insurance for the repairs though this minor
issue shows up on Carfax.
Truck has been meticulously maintained, I change oil every 5,000 miles and degreased engine once per year just to
keep her looking new. Always run Full Synthetic Rotella and high quality filters. I did USE my truck, so there
are some small scratches around stake pocket holes, bedliner has marks etc, also small surface scratch on hood and
the passenger side running board has a scrape (see pic). None of this is serious i just mention in the interest of
being as completely honest as I can so there are no surprises on your end. Other than that she is Mint AND Tuned.
Emissions are removed...she's FAST....emissions can be put back on if you wish...either way I will include them
with the sale because if you ever trade these newer trucks and don't have the emissions they can dock your trade up
to $4,000. MANY UPGRADES...see below This is the 2nd Gen 6.7L Diesel, stock is 440hp and 860 lb/ft torque...with
tune up it's up to 700hp 1300 lb/ft torque!
Way too many options to list so please see window sticker in pics...i'll list some main options here though....

Ford Shelby GT350 Mustang is a track-day weapon with 500 hp
Mon, 17 Nov 2014
Ford promises more than 500 horsepower and a torque peak above 400 lb-ft.
The wait is finally over. After months of spy shots, rumor and innuendo, Ford has officially pulled the wraps off its new Shelby GT350. Judging by the spec sheet and the promises being made - especially that the Shelby GT350 will be "an all-day track car that's also street legal" - the wait appears to have been worth it.
Chevy Silverado frame twist test a marketing victory versus Ford
Thu, 16 Oct 2014The pickup market is so competitive that all three major American makers are constantly trying to find a way to prove their product is the best. The new 2015 Ford F-150 is grabbing headlines at the moment by winning awards and posting segment best numbers. But in a new video, Chevrolet is taking aim squarely at the 2015 F-250 Super Duty in a battle of heavy-duty truck supremacy against the 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500HD... well, in a single metric anyway.
The big numbers from pickups often come down to payload, towing rating and fuel economy, but for this test, Chevy and Howie Long are challenging the torsional rigidity of the trucks' frames, specifically which one flexes less. Long plays the everyman here having the Chevy engineer explain what's going on in the tests. Unsurprisingly for a video on Chevy's official YouTube page, the 2500HD wins out by a good margin. The company also reports that similar results as shown here have been certified in third-party testing.
Check out the video to see the full test. While this might seem like a marketing win for Chevy, Ford isn't immune to it, either. In 2009, the Blue Oval uploaded a similar video comparing the flex under 225 pounds of weight from the bare frames of the F-150, Chevy Silverado, Dodge Ram (as it was still called at the time) and the Toyota Tundra. The results fell in the Blue Oval's favor, as you can see here.
Aluminum lightweighting does, in fact, save fuel
Mon, Apr 14 2014When the best-selling US truck sheds the equivalent weight of three football fullbacks by shifting to aluminum, folks start paying attention. Oak Ridge National Laboratory took a closer look at whether the reduced fuel consumption from a lighter aluminum body makes up for the fact that producing aluminum is far more energy intensive than steel. And the results of the study are pretty encouraging. In a nutshell, the energy needed to produce a vehicle's raw materials accounts for about 10 percent of a typical vehicle's carbon footprint during its total lifecycle, and that number is up from six percent because of advancements in fuel economy (fuel use is down to about 68 percent of total emissions from about 75 percent). Still, even with that higher material-extraction share, the fuel-efficiency gains from aluminum compared to steel will offset the additional vehicle-extraction energy in just 12,000 miles of driving, according to the study. That means that, from an environmental standpoint, aluminum vehicles are playing with the house's money after just one year on the road. Aluminum-sheet construction got topical real quickly earlier this year when Ford said the 2015 F-150 pickup truck would go to a 93-percent aluminum body construction. In addition to aluminum being less corrosive than steel, that change caused the F-150 to shed 700 pounds from its curb weight. And it looks like the Explorer and Expedition SUVs may go on an aluminum diet next. Take a look at SAE International's synopsis of the Oak Ridge Lab's study below. Life Cycle Energy and Environmental Assessment of Aluminum-Intensive Vehicle Design Advanced lightweight materials are increasingly being incorporated into new vehicle designs by automakers to enhance performance and assist in complying with increasing requirements of corporate average fuel economy standards. To assess the primary energy and carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e) implications of vehicle designs utilizing these materials, this study examines the potential life cycle impacts of two lightweight material alternative vehicle designs, i.e., steel and aluminum of a typical passenger vehicle operated today in North America. LCA for three common alternative lightweight vehicle designs are evaluated: current production ("Baseline"), an advanced high strength steel and aluminum design ("LWSV"), and an aluminum-intensive design (AIV).
