The brand new Boss snow plow is included. It is a 7.5 foot straight blade with the smarthitch2 system. I was going to plow snow this year, but I do not have the time between a 4 month old baby, my son's travel hockey schedule, and my day job.

The truck is solid and reliable. It is a southern truck without any rust issues. It does not have a plowing history as I just installed the plow this fall. There are no issues with the front end steering or suspension components. I have had it serviced at my local Ford dealer. Brand new Nitto tires. Good brakes. A/C. Radio. Bedliner. This truck is perfect for someone who has the time to make money plowing and also wants a solid, reliable work truck.

The engine runs great and has tons of life at only 92,000 miles. My daily driver is a 2008 F-350 King Ranch with over 183,000 miles and it is still going strong so I can tell you from experience that these engines go and go and go. The 4x4 has manual locking hubs as well as shift on the fly. There are no fluid leaks whatsoever.

The interior is gray cloth. The rear seat folds up for added cargo capacity. As an XL, the interior is durable, but spartan. No CD player, for example.

No rust issues on the body or underside. There are several dents where the truck had a close encounter with the landscaping. I replaced the tailgate recently and a bedliner is included.

I really like this truck and I hate to see it go, but I just cannot justify keeping it when it snows and snows and I don't have time to get out and make the easy money. Don't feel too sorry for me, though. I will still be driving my King Ranch unless someone makes me an offer I can't refuse (like $25,000).

Clear title in hand. No liens. You can pick it up in person or I will ship it (after you pay). I sold a Toyota on eBay a few years back to a buyer in Wisconsin so I know the drill when it comes to shipping.

The truck is for sale locally so if you absolutely must have it use the Buy It Now. Listing may end early. I appraised this truck on Edmunds and it says it is worth $20,260 not including the plow. The plow cost me another $5500. So I feel the Buy It Now is very fair.

I received a question about the Buy It Now feature. I had listed it with a Buy It Now price. However, once the first bid went in the Buy It Now option went away. I guess that is how eBay works. Anyway, just so everyone knows, this is a NO RESERVE auction. If you win, be prepared to follow through. And if you really want it, make your best bid early because the truck is for sale locally.

I received a request for interior pictures. I will post some interior pictures tonight. Quickly, though, the interior is gray. There are two bucket seats up front and a folding bench seat in the back. The front seats are cloth and are in good shape. The rear seat is vinyl and also in good shape. No unsightly stains or rips in the fabric. The floor is a black rubber-like product just like any other XL work truck. There is an AM/FM radio.

I received a question about the state inspection. The truck passed a Virginia State inspection in October 2012.

I received a question about cigarette smoke. I do not smoke and there is no cigarette smoke smell in the truck.

I received a question about accidents. This truck has not been in an accident. Take a look at the clean vehicle history report.

Happy to address additional questions.

Yes, this is a 4x4 with the reliable 6.4 Liter Diesel. Thank you for the questions.

Ford Transit is America's new best-selling van

Tue, Jan 6 2015

The Ford Motor Company's sales in December ticked up 1.2 percent in the US, and the automaker was down 0.5 percent for 2014. But the Blue Oval looks like it might have a real winner on its hands when it comes to its new Transit van. The recently introduced line nearly doubled its numbers during the month by delivering 10,030 units for an annual total of 20,488 examples sold. It also gave the fullsize model the title of America's bestselling van for December. Those 10,000 sales put the Transit head and shoulders above all of its competitors in the crowded commercial van market. Second place went to the Chevrolet Express with 5,611 sales in December, and the ancient Ford E-Series was third with 5,256 moved. The rest of the segment was somewhat lower, with the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter at 3,288 units for the month, Ram ProMaster at 3,036, GMC Savana with 1,725 and Nissan NV at 1,554. December also marked the second month in a row for the Transit to beat out the E-Series in sales. However, its predecessor still won overall for the year with 103,263 units moved in 2014, but it enjoyed a full calendar year of sales. According to Ford spokesperson Mike Levine, the smaller Transit Connect had its best sales month ever for December too, and the automaker has been among the sales leaders in the van segment for the last 36 years. "Clearly, sales show we're best at meeting our customers' needs," said Levine to Autoblog, who touted the model's results on Twitter and cited the Transit's numerous configurations as its biggest selling point. Ford's latest van has other plusses, too, say analysts. "The one thing the Transit has going for it is a low base price relative to the competition. Compare the base price of the Sprinter to the Transit and it is hands-down a Transit win," said Dave Sullivan, auto industry analyst at AutoPacific, to Autoblog. Purely by model name, the Transit was also the bestselling van in November, with 4,851 deliveries. However, the Chevy Express had 4,478 sales, plus 716 more from the GMC Savana. Since these two are the same model beneath the skin, as a platform, they arguably took the title for that month. With a new year already here, the Transit has a new challenge to face. "2015 will be the year that the Transit has to leave the nest, because E-Series inventories will be close to zero and Transit will have to carry all the weight," said Sullivan.

FCA to pay buyers $1,700 to swap out of scandal-mired VWs

Tue, Oct 6 2015

FCA is trying to gain some sales from arch-rival VW in the competitive European market by offering potential buyers in Italy up to $1,700 to swap into an FCA group car. While the promotion isn't specifically targeted at TDI owners affected by the emissions scandal, it is clearly intended to turn dissatisfaction with VW's defeat device cheat into additional sales, Bloomberg reports. The 500-1,500 euro incentive (roughly $560-1,700, depending on vehicle) stacks on top of any other rebates or deals applicable, and applies if a buyer brings in any of Volkswagen Group's cars – including Audi, Skoda, and SEAT, among (many) others. As Bloomberg notes, it's normal for automakers to offer "conquest" deals – giving a buyer cash for trading in a competitor's vehicle. Those deals aren't usually limited to one company's products, however; FCA's program looks specifically to take advantage of VW's legal and public relations nightmare. FCA isn't the only automaker trying this trick in Italy. Automotive News Europe also reported that Ford is offering approximately $840 in incentives across its entire range to owners of VW vehicles seeking to trade in for a Ford. No word of yet as to whether these incentives will spread beyond Italy or to other automakers.Related Video:

What an Atlas-based Ford F-150 might look like

Thu, 27 Jun 2013

Just ahead of January's Detroit Auto Show, surprising rumors pegged Ford as revealing some sort of F-150 concept, perhaps as a hurried effort to deflate some of the buzz building around General Motors' new Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra twins, which were also making their auto show debut. Those rumblings turned out to be true, as Ford rolled into the Motor City with its Atlas concept (inset, right), touting the truck's bold styling as a precursor to the next-generation F-Series.
The show truck featured all kinds of clever details, including active wheel shutters and a front air dam that raised and lowered to improve aerodynamics while preserving off-road ability. It also had a genuinely snarly face. And it's that pugnacious snout that may well be on its way to production. The good folks at TopSpeed have worked up the plausible-looking artist's rendering above by cross-referencing the Atlas concept with what little has been revealed from recent spy shots. The look is toned-down pretty dramatically from the concept truck, but its Atlas roots are clear, with a massive three-bar grille and bracket-shaped headlamps hiding a next-generation EcoBoost engine. In the rendering, the show truck's deeply contoured hood and roofline have been ditched and larger, more traditional side mirrors have been fitted - all likely concessions in the move to production sheetmetal.
While Ford has yet to officially announce when it will unveil the 2015 F-150, all signs point to next year's Detroit Auto Show - one year after the Atlas shrugged off GM's new pickups.
