This is my 2006 Ford F250 Crew Cab Lariat 4x4. The truck is white with gray leather interior. I have had the truck for almost two years now and its time to get a new toy. The truck was completely stock when I purchased it. I have installed all the mods. The truck currently has almost 89k miles and runs great. The truck does not have any mechanical problems and has been very well maintained. I flushed the transmission and replaced both trans filters at 70k miles and I have changed the oil and rotated the tires every 5k miles. I just changed the oil at 88k miles. The truck has a lot of mods and draws a lot of attention wherever it goes. The only thing that needs to be fixed is the windshield. It has a crack on the bottom. I just haven't got around to replacing it yet. The truck has all of the upgrades needed to correct the common 6.0 problems. All of those were done 10k miles ago. Ford celebrates 1 millionth Mustang built at Flat Rock
Thu, 18 Apr 2013Yesterday, the Ford Mustang turned 49 years old, and Ford didn't miss the opportunity to celebrate the one millionth version of the Mustang rolling off the assembly line at the Flat Rock Assembly plant. Production of the Mustang at Flat Rock coincided with the fifth-generation design launching in 2004, and the one millionth car was the car shown above, a 2014 GT convertible painted in Ruby Red.
In total, Ford has sold more than 8.5 million Mustangs since the original car went on sale, but some of the key milestones over the car's nine years at Flat Rock include the Shelby GT-H, Bullitt, Boss 302 and, of course, the 662-horsepower Shelby GT500. Ford unveils Mustang 50th anniversary logo, plans merchandise
Tue, 26 Mar 2013The Ford Mustang turns 50 years old this year, and this is the logo that will announce the milestone occasion on a special line of merchandise. The graphic is the result of an internal design competition, and Ford will give 50 different companies the license to use it on traditional logo merchandise like shirts and watches, along with some untraditional items like pinball machines.
Ford is going to begin the celebrations at this week's New York Auto Show and continue them throughout the year, but April 17 is the official birthday of the the pony car that just won't quit. You can expect to start seeing anniversary merchandise in the next couple of weeks.
Ford looks to space robots to improve car-to-car communications [w/video]
Wed, 21 Aug 2013Ford has partnered with St. Petersburg Polytechnic University for three years to research various kinds of connected vehicle communications. The university tie-up is part of its study of space robots, NASA systems created to enable space-to-Earth communication, and the university's own development of systems that enable communication between the International Space State and Earth.
The objective is for Ford to engineer layers of robust networks and redundancy systems that will allow your car to speak to other cars, to emergency vehicles, to infrastructure like traffic lights and buildings, and to the cloud. Benefits would come in just about every area of transit, from avoiding accidents, to getting medical workers to an accident more quickly, to improving the flow of traffic during rush hour.
