2000 Ford F-250 Super Duty Xlt Crew Cab Pickup 4-door 7.3l on 2040-cars
Reeds Spring, Missouri, United States
THIS VEHICLE IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.
I HAVE MAINTAINED IT AT A FORD DEALERSHIP SINCE I HAVE OWNED IT. I HAVE REPLACED ALL THE PLASTIC ON THE OUTSIDE, WITH EXCEPTION OF SIDE STEPS, APPROX. 1 YEAR AGO. I HAVE ADDED THE CAMPER SHELL AND THE CANOE RACKS AND THE INSIDE BED RUG AFTER I BOUGHT IT. IT SHIFTS WELL THROUGH ALL OF THE GEARS WITH THE MANUAL TRANSMISSION. IT HAS THE RUBBER FLOOR, WHICH IS GREAT, AND HAS NO RIPS OR TEARS. I ADDED RUBBER FLOOR MATS MYSELF JUST TO PROTECT THAT MUCH LONGER. I ADDED THE FORMED CARPET DASH PROTECTOR MYSELF. NOT BECAUSE THERE ARE ANY CRACKS IN THE DASH. I LIKE IT BECAUSE IT KEEPS MY STUFF FROM SLIDING AROUND. I HAVE ALL THE RECORDS FROM WHEN I HAVE OWNED IT. I ALSO HAVE ALL THE RECORDS FROM THE PREVIOUS OWNER. I AM SELLING IT BECAUSE I BOUGHT A 5TH WHEEL AND HAD TO BUY A BIGGER TRUCK TO PULL IT. I DON'T NEED TWO TRUCKS. I HAVE BABIED THIS TRUCK AND IT DRIVES WELL. |

2015 Ford Mustang [w/videos]
Thu, 05 Dec 2013
It'd be unwise to bet against the sixth generation of this legendary nameplate.
The 2015 Ford Mustang is assuredly the most anticipated new vehicle of the year. The redesigned Pony Car has been the subject of frantic gossiping and covert spy photos covering everything from the way it looks to the tech it will include, its performance, mechanicals and a bevy of other aspects of Ford's performance icon.
Ford Mustang GT350 seen and heard in motion for the first time
Fri, 27 Sep 2013We just recently saw our first spy shots of the next-gen hi-po Ford Mustang slated to replace the Shelby GT500, but now we're getting our first look - and listen - of prototypes captured on video. Mustang6g.com has the video (along with some different spy shots), which show that, if nothing else, SVT knows how to tune an exhaust system. The :50 mark is a good example of this, but fast-forward to around 2:00 where the driver revs the engine and really gets on the throttle hard taking off from a stop.
There's still no definitive evidence that the next-gen SVT Mustang - said to be called GT350 - will be naturally aspirated, but it sounds just as menacing as the current Shelby GT500. While the video posted below exhibits the sort of quality that is to be expected from someone driving while trying to film someone who is attempting to elude being filmed, it's still exciting to see and hear this new Mustang in motion.
Even Ford executives had issues with MyFord Touch
Fri, Oct 7 2016MyFord Touch is one of the auto industry's more controversial features. The media broadly panned the infotainment system developed with Microsoft for its slow responses and reliance on voice commands to navigate its deep menus. Oh, and Ford executives weren't big fans, either. Newly revealed court documents in a California class-action lawsuit demonstrate the level of venom Ford employees, both big and small, reserved for the Blue Oval's infotainment system. An error caused Bill Ford's navigation system to crash, leaving the family scion stuck on the side of the road in an unfamiliar area. The documents, unearthed by Forbes, detail current CEO Mark Fields' aggravations with MFT, too. A mechanic emailed an image of a cracked infotainment screen on an Edge to one of Ford's top Sync engineers, Kenneth Williams, suggesting "Mark Fields may have been a little aggravated with the system." But Ford and Fields' issues are nothing compared to the woes of the engineers that had to work on MFT. In a collection of emails obtained by Forbes, one engineer called the system "a polished turd," while another simply said, "These poor customers." And after one engineer suggested using a photo of Ford's Oakville Assembly Plant – home of the Edge, Flex, Lincoln MKX, and MKT production – as a background for the system, one of his coworkers said in an email that someone should instead Photoshop the image to read "abandon hope all ye who enter here," the Detroit News reports. Another summed up the problem, saying: "Ford's quality reputation is completely on the line ... another model year with the same crap is not acceptable." MyFord Touch almost single-handedly torpedoed Ford's reputation in widely reported quality metrics, including JD Power and Consumer Reports. Ford responded with a refreshed Sync3, a wildly improved rethink of its infotainment system that is far more responsive and easier to live with every day.
