 This truck is a beast!

I have owned it for the past 6 years and just used it as the farm truck (just driving a few miles down the road to pick up hay and feed every couple of weeks).  I have had the truck regularly serviced over the past 6 years and it just had a major service in January 2014.  It has maybe been driven 6 or 7 times since then.

Riding on 285/75R16s with GREAT tread on all 4.  I have never had this truck let me down - starts first time, every time!

White exterior - their is a dent in the door and also in the side fender (as photographed)

Dual exhaust - it used to have 2 gas tanks but somebody "permanently borrowed" one of the tanks!  So, the fuel gauge does not work as it was probably hooked up to the tank that went for a walk!!

Interior is dry and clean with automatic gear, 4x4, am/fm stereo (it works), roll up windows, manual locks. Interior is blue.

Truck has a 5.8L, V8 EFI engine (gasoline)

Regular Cab

Long Bed with new bedliner

Ball hitch goes with the truck

Exactly as photographed.  The only reason the check engine light is on is because I only turned the key in the ignition, I did not start the truck.  There are no warning lights on when the truck is running!

Only selling as the truck is just sitting there and not being used!

Sold as-is - no refunds, no returns.  Please ask all questions prior to placing a bid and/or purchasing.  You are welcome to come and inspect the truck by appointment only.

Truck is located in the Mount Dora/Eustis, FL 32736 area.

Clear title and registration in hand - truck is ready to go!

FBI investigating recently fired Ford engineer for espionage

Fri, 25 Jul 2014

Agents of the FBI are investigating a potential case of industrial espionage involving a recently fired Ford employee. The Dearborn, MI-based manufacturer had its world headquarters searched by FBI agents on July 11, and according to The Detroit News, had warrants to seize recording devices handed over to Ford by Sharon Leach, a now-former Ford engineer.
Leach, who had spent 17 years with the Blue Oval, was fired last month, after Ford Security relieved her of eight Sansa listening devices. The FBI got involved shortly after her dismissal, searching her home on June 20 and seizing some two dozen items, including computers, jump drives and financial records, according to warrants obtained by The News.
Ford has remained quiet on the matter, with spokeswoman Susan Krusel confirming that the automaker was working with the FBI as part of a "joint investigation," while declining to provide any additional details.

Lincoln Continental production likely to shift to Flat Rock

Fri, Jun 12 2015

Lincoln production may be returning to Michigan, according to a new report from Automotive News. While the brand's current big sedan, the MKS, is built alongside the Ford Taurus, Ford Explorer, and their Police Interceptor counterparts at the Blue Oval's Chicago, IL factory, the production version of the Continental won't be screwed together in the Windy City. According to AN, "industry sources" claim the Continental will join the Ford Mustang and Ford Fusion – on which the big Lincoln is loosely based – at the company's Flat Rock, MI factory. The move isn't just based on convenience, though. Ford is selling a lot of Explorers, and shifting Lincoln production away from Chicago Assembly frees up production capacity for the popular SUV. "Chicago Assembly Plant is vital to our global manufacturing footprint and will continue to manufacture the Ford Taurus, Ford Explorer and Police Interceptor vehicles even after we phase out production of the MKS in 2016," Ford told Automotive News. "We will continue to match production to demand." Looking at the numbers further backs up the argument against Lincoln production in Chicago. Last year alone, Ford built nearly 285,000 Explorers and over 73,000 Taurus sedans, compared to just 8,300 Lincolns. Finally, as AN tells it, Ford is almost telegraphing the Continental's arrival in Flat Rock. The facility has a four-week shut down scheduled from June 15 through July 13, which is twice as long as the typical summer vacation, while there's another two weeks off slated for September. 2013 Ford F-150 Limited

Mon, 28 Jan 2013

The Ford F-150 received yet another new model for the 2013 model year, the Limited trim, bringing the ways you can order this country's most popular vehicle to a grand total of 10. There really is an F-150 to suit any need now, and the Limited variant slots in at the very top of the range, above the already pampering Platinum model.
While normally I would admit that I'm the least-appropriate person to test a pickup, the fact that this particular trim places a much higher premium on luxury than anything with a bed and Blue Oval badge before it means that I don't need the workman chops of a skilled tradesman to judge how well this truck meets its true aim.
