For sale in my 94.5 Ford F250 Powerstroke. I've owned this truck for almost 4 years now and it has been very good to me. I'm just ready to get something a little newer. The truck runs very stong and does great pulling trailers and plowing snow. Back in late 2010 I noticed that the truck didn't seem to have the power that it used to. So I took it into my local Ford dealer to have them take a look at it. The truck had 2 injectors that took a crap, so i decided that since it could probably use all new injectors I was also going to do a few other upgrades. So I removed the injectors and sent them off to Rosewood diesel to have them rebuilt. They performed their stage 1 rebuild on them and also put all new nozzles on them. I got with dieselsite.com and ordered a Adrenaline HPOP and HPOP IPR. I also oreded a Tony Wildman 6 position chip from Stealth Automotive. The truck also has a 6637 air filter on it. Once I got all of that stuff installed on the truck, it ran like a dream. I also have a few other parts laying around that I never installed that are included with the truck. I have a 3" downpipe, MBRP muffler and exhaust pipe. The stock exhaust rusted before the muffler so I remove it all, so the truck is currently running open stock downpipe. There are some rust spots on the truck on the rockers and fenders, normal dents and dings from using the truck. Tires are in decent shape. There is a brake squeak that I hear every now and then. Drives like your average 20 year old truck with some slop in the steering. The truck has been on roadtrips all over the midwest and out to the east coast, so I'm not afraid to drive it on the interstate. 4x4 works fine, the interior is in pretty good shape, power windows and locks all work and the headlight pull knob disappeared so it will either need a new one or you can use a pair of pliers. The truck has 5th wheel / goosekneck rails installed in the bed and also has a Delta diamond plate toolbox. Included also is a Meyer 7.5 plow with 20" wings. So that comes out to over a 9' plow. I bought it used and used it for 2 winters in 2010 and 11 but I didn't use it last year and haven't used it this year due to the lack of snow here. Everything worked great the last time I used it and I also put a new cutting edge on it before the 2011 season. I think thats about everything. If you have any question about anything or want a specific picture of something just let me know. The truck and plow are sold as is. Thanks Brett

Introducing the 1965 Ford Mustang
Sat, 24 Aug 2013Put on your space suits and diving bell helmets, for it's time to step into a time capsule. The 50th anniversary of a historic model, like, say, the Porsche 911 this year, is certain to bring flights of nostalgia. This historical trip with the 1965 Mustang, though - preliminary hype for next year's anniversary, we know - is a swell museum exhibit for anyone who enjoys bygone days of the automobile.
Lee Iaccoca gave a speech to motoring journalists on April 1, 1964 at the New York World's Fair to introduce a sporty car for younger drivers. His opening line: "Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to one of the proudest moments of our lives." The company was so excited by what it had made that the Mustang was Ford's first "International Press Introduction," being introduced to some 2,000 journos around the world on the same day in the US and 11 European cities. Even through its difficult points, no one at the time could have known how well the Mustang would acquit that pride.
After the intro, the press drove Mustangs 750 miles from New York to Dearborn, MI, reading press kits that touted features like the "vertical, three-sectional taillights/turn signals," "170" six-cylinder engine with 101 horsepower and the available Cruise-O-Matic transmission.
Detroit automakers mulling helping DIA avoid bankruptcy looting
Tue, 13 May 2014It's not really a secret that the city of Detroit is in lots and lots of trouble. Even with an emergency manager working to guide it through bankruptcy, a number of the city's institutions remain in very serious danger. One of the most notable is the Detroit Institute of Arts, a 658,000-square-foot behemoth of art that counts works from Van Gogh, Picasso, Gauguin and Rembrandt (not to mention a version of Rodin's iconic "The Thinker," shown above) as part of its permanent collection.
Throughout the bankruptcy, the DIA has been under threat, with art enthusiasts, historians and fans of the museum concerned that its expansive collection - valued between $454 and $867 million by Christie's - could be sold by the city to help square its $18.5-billion debt.
Now, though, Detroit's hometown automakers could be set to step up and help save the renowned museum. According to a report from The Detroit News, the charitable arms of General Motors, Ford and Chrysler could be set to donate $25 million as part of a DIA-initiated campaign, called the "grand bargain." As part of the deal, the DIA would seek $100 million in corporate donations as part of a larger attempt at putting together an $816-million package that would be paid to city pension funds over 20 years. Such a move would protect the city's art collection from being sold off.
