Hi you are looking at a 1985 Ford F250 Dually pickup. The truck has been painted but it is not the best paint job from a distance the truck look good but up close you can see some flaws and some runs also there is some poor body work down below the tailights i took a picture so that you can see it. The truck has a 460 engine and 4 speed manual trans. The engine runs good with the exception of it backfires through the carb when throttle is at 3/4 and is trying to flood a little. I talked to a local mechanic and he thinks that the problem sounde like it might be in the carb that it might need to be cleaned because i let the truck set for about a month without starting it or it might need the timing adjusted, but no guarantee that this is the problem the trans shifts good. The truck came with dual tanks but the previous owner took the front tank off and ran a new line from the fuel pump to the rear tank, the front tank is included and all it needs is a new fuel sending unit and it could be put back on. The tank selector valve is still mounted under the truck and could be hooked back up but i dont know if it works or not. The fuel level guage is not working so id say the rear tank could also use a new sending unit. The tires are in fair condition they should be fine for a while before needing replaced. The previous owner put alot of new parts on the truck including a new clutch master cylinder, clutch slave cylinder, clutch kit, new edelbrock carb, new chrome air cleaner, msd distributor cap front engine cover, and fuel pump, the battery in the truck is less than a year old. The truck frame is in good condition. the interior is in good condition with the exception of the dash being cracked pretty bad and the rubber floor mat has been cut some around the shifter. The truck has a gooseneck ball installed and electric brake box installed. The passenger side window has some specks on the outside you can feel with you hand but really cant haedly see them. The truck has a homemade gooseneck tailgate on it but it does look pretty good. I have tried to describe the truck the best i can with the good and the bad but if i didnt mention something that you would like to know please feel free to email me with any questions. The truck is sold as is where is with no warranty. buyer is responsible for local pickup. Thanks Tim

Ford-sponsored survey says a third of Brits have snapped a 'selfie' while driving [w/videos]
Fri, 08 Aug 2014Talking on the phone while driving isn't advisable, and texting while driving is downright dangerous. Considering those truths, the fact that we even need to point this out this is incredibly disturbing: taking "selfies" while behind the wheel is exceptionally stupid. But, it's a thing that a third of 18- to 24-year-old British drivers have copped to doing, according to a new study from Ford.
Ford, through its Driving Skills for Life program, surveyed 7,000 smartphone owners from across Europe, all aged between 18 and 24, and found that young British drivers were more likely to snap a selfie while behind the wheel than their counterparts in Germany, France, Romania, Italy, Spain and Belgium.
According to the study, the average selfie takes 14 seconds, which, while traveling at 60 miles per hour, is long enough to travel over the length of nearly four football fields (the Ford study uses soccer fields, but we translated it to football, because, you know, America). That's an extremely dangerous distance to not be focused on the road.
Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and Ford Transit can haul on the track
Tue, 19 Aug 2014Line up any two comparable vehicles, and eople are going to want to race them. Need proof? In its latest track battle, Auto Express wants to know which commercial vehicle can lap a circuit faster - a Ford Transit or Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. Let's face it, neither of these European vans were ever meant to be near the track unless they are delivering a racecar and a ton of parts for a fun weekend, but it's massively fun to watch them give it a go anyway.
The one thing that Auto Express really illustrates here is the modern marvel that is stability control. The driver hops curves, and these big vans lean in the corners like your friend walking home from a long night at the bar. However, because of the amazing stability systems, the vans mostly keep all of their wheels planted and never seem close to getting sloppy, despite their behemoth size.
Unfortunately, the two vans aren't exactly fairly paired. The Ford has a dual rear axle and a few other advantages over the Mercedes, but it's still hilarious to watch them go. Even better, the host breaks down everything happening behind the wheel like these commercial vehicles were two Porsches. Enjoy watching this very unorthodox battle between Ford and Mercedes.
More evidence GT500-replacement will be named GT350
Tue, 17 Dec 2013During the recent unveiling of the 2015 Ford Mustang, we saw the car in both V6 and GT form, but we'll have to wait a little bit longer to see the successor to the Shelby GT500. In the meantime, though, it looks like SVTPerformance.com has confirmed reports that this high-performance model will bring the Shelby GT350 name back to Ford.
According to the forum post, a user found the Shelby GT350 name on a Ford promo website listing its 2015 lineup. The Shelby GT350 name was first used on a Mustang back in 1965, and most recently it has been a model created for customers as a post-title purchase by Shelby American. As for that car, Shelby confirmed earlier in the year that its GT350 would be phased out at the end of this month.
The million-dollar question for Mustang and Shelby enthusiasts is when we'll see next factory Shelby GT350. Last we heard it was planned for a debut at the New York Auto Show. We've included our previous spy shots of this hi-po, sixth-gen Mustang, and we've also captured it on spy video showing off its exhaust note.
