BULLET PROOFED DIESEL TRUCK
Tuned properly to correct all the factory issues these Powerstroke's have

NO RESERVE AUCTION STARTING AT $1!!!
That's right highest bidder takes her home!!!

Its time to sell my favorite truck!  Only reason I'm selling it is because I upgraded to the crew cab 4 door version.

  • 2008 Ford F250 Super Duty Extended Cab
  • 6.4 Liter Twin Turbo (Bullet Proofed)
  • It has a Cat. Delete racing exhaust with a 9" Tip
  • EGR and DPF Delete
  • The above will do many things that improve the vehicle most of the issues with the vehicle are due to the emissions equipment Ford puts on the vehicles. Its common if you don't do the above for the truck to dilute your oil with diesel fuel (we are talking around 5 quarts here!) This problem is eliminated. It also eliminates the stock airflow restrictions
  • Tuned with and Included is a Tachyon+, KOR Series Tuner (can set to 5 different tunes including stock tune)
  • The tuner does NOT change the shift points of the trans so it will NOT damage the transmission
  • All settings on the tuner will give you more power and better gas millage!
  • Overall gas millage is going from 12-13 mpg stock to 18-20 mpg now with this setup!
  • 22" Black XD Series Rims wrapped in 305/40/22 Street Tires NO Rubbing
  • Factory Navigation with P6.0 disk
  • Tuner and exhaust kit are made to be undone if you ever need to get inspections or dealer work on it. Can be made to stock again with little effort. EGR Is blocked but not removed!
  • Super Duty XLT
  • 4x4
  • Long Bed 8 ft
  • Suicide rear doors on both sides
  • Aux Input for the radio to plug your phone or mp3 player in for music
  • Sliding rear window to bed
  • Rugged Liner Bed liner
  • Cloth Seats, lets face it, leather may "look" nicer but if you actually plan on using the truck daily cloth makes more sense.
  • Fog Lights
  • Tow Package
  • Running Boards
  • Front grill has been painted to match body color
  • Tinted Windows
  • No Rust
  • 231k Miles, mostly highway as I have driven this truck across the US many times
  • Still feels like a new truck
  • Super Clean
  • Upgraded headlights and fog lights to Blue Bulbs

I have a lot of money into this truck, made sure all the upgrades on it were done right. She is nicer now then when she was brand new. She has always been very reliable to me, I've had many hours behind the wheel.  I love this truck so much my new one is the exact same thing just with more doors. Bid and get yourself a REAL Truck here!

Tune and Exhaust are done right, I've done my research and checked it with several professionals.  No reason to own a Diesel truck without tuning and putting exhaust on it! You get much better gas millage with this set up and more power than your thinking!  Of the 3 diesels  Ford Power Stroke, Dodge Cummings, and Chevy Duramax, The Ford is the slightly less HP stock BUT! of the three it is the most tune-able! If you want the factory exhaust too just add $250 to your wining bid and I will include it.

You will not be disappointing in the truck. I have included several pictures from every angle I could think of to show you condition. You are more than welcome to come check it out anytime.

If you have any questions or want to set up a time to come see it give me a call at 248-747-2196

Woman trades 1914 Model T in for 2013 Corvette

Wed, 17 Apr 2013

We're sure that dealers must see all sorts of interesting trade ins, but this one may take the cake. Red River Chevrolet in Bossier City, Louisiana, recently had a customer come in with an odd request. Tina Boyter wanted to trade in three vehicles on a brand-new 2013 Chevy Corvette. Among the hardware was 1980 Corvette, a 1978 Cadillac Eldorado and a 1914 Ford Model T. While the '80 Corvette had been her personal car for years, the '78 Eldorado had belonged to Boyter's mother before she traded up to a Lincoln. The big Caddy had just 10,290 miles on the clock when it was traded in.
And the Model T? Boyter says the car was built as a racer by Ford, and that it had been a show winner for years when it belonged to her father. But, after spending the last 16 years in a museum with its fluids drained, Boyter decided it was time to shed some of the past. She walked into the dealer, laid eyes on a white 2LT Corvette with a red interior and offered to trade all three of the vehicles in on the sports car.
Why not wait for the C7? "I fell in love with that one when I walked in the door," She said. We can't fault her there.

Ford confirms 1.5-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine for 2014 Fusion

Thu, 11 Apr 2013

Earlier this week, reports were swirling 'round the internet about the 2014 Ford Fusion getting a new 1.5-liter three-cylinder EcoBoost engine. That was... half correct. Ford today confirmed that the 2014 Fusion is, in fact, getting a new 1.5-liter EcoBoost mill, but it has four cylinders, not three.
The new 1.5-liter engine will be the fifth EcoBoost powerplant from Ford Motor Company. Initially to be built at the automaker's Craiova, Romania plant, it will also be offered in the Fusion's twin, the Mondeo, in other markets. This engine will debut at the Shanghai Motor Show next month, and the 1.5-liter is of particular importance in the Chinese market - there is significant tax relief in the People's Republic for vehicles powered by engines with a capacity of 1.5 liters or less.
At a media briefing Thursday, Ford declined to divulge exact power or fuel economy numbers, though Joe Bakaj, vice president of powertrain engineering, told Autoblog that power output should be similar to that of the current 1.6-liter inline-four, and that overall efficiency will be "better than the 1.6." Our earlier report stated that the 1.5-liter four will produce 177 horsepower and 177 pound-feet of torque - losses of 1 hp and 7 lb-ft versus the 1.6-liter engine. Ford states that the 1.5-liter four will feature many of the same technologies used on the company's 1.0-liter EcoBoost inline-three, including an integrated exhaust manifold that recaptures much of the engine's heat.

Autoblog's Editors' Picks: Our complete list of the best new vehicles

Mon, May 13 2024

It's not easy to earn an “EditorsÂ’ Picks” at Autoblog as part of the rating and review process that every new vehicle goes through. Our editors have been at it a long time, which means weÂ’ve driven and reviewed virtually every new car you can go buy on the dealer lot. There are disagreements, of course, and all vehicles have their strengths and weaknesses, but this list features what we think are the best new vehicles chosen by Autoblog editors. We started this formal review process back in 2018, so there's quite of few of them now. So what does it mean to be an EditorsÂ’ Pick? In short, it means itÂ’s a car that we can highly recommend purchasing. There may be one, multiple, or even zero vehicles in any given segment that we give the green light to. What really matters is that itÂ’s a vehicle that weÂ’d tell a friend or family member to go buy if theyÂ’re considering it, because itÂ’s a very good car. The best way to use this list is is with the navigation links below. Click on a segment, and you'll quickly arrive at the top rated pickup truck or SUV, for example. Use the back button to return to these links and search in another segment, like sedans. If youÂ’ve been keeping up with our monthly series of the latest vehicles to earn EditorsÂ’ Pick status, youÂ’re likely going to be familiar with this list already. If not, welcome to the complete list that weÂ’ll be keeping updated as vehicles enter (and others perhaps exit) the good graces of our editorial team. We rate a new car — giving it a numerical score out of 10 — every time thereÂ’s a significant refresh or if it happens to be an all-new model. Any given vehicle may be impressive on a first drive, but we wait until itÂ’s in the hands of our editors to put it through the same type of testing as every other vehicle that rolls through our test fleet before giving it the EditorsÂ’ Pick badge. This ensures consistency and allows more voices to be heard on each individual model. And just so you donÂ’t think weÂ’ve skipped trims or variants of a model, we hand out the EditorsÂ’ Pick based on the overarching model to keep things consistent. So, when you read that the 3 Series is an EditorsÂ’ Pick, yes, that includes the 330i to the M3 and all the variants in between. If thereÂ’s a particular version of that car we vehemently disagree with, we make sure to call that out.
