Hello, you are looking at a 1969 Ford F100
It's powered by a V8 FE390, with a 4speed manual transmission
- Runs and drives great!
- I bought this truck last year as a school project, running rough due to a broken pushrod, but after many hours of work and new parts, it now runs like a champ!
- I have replaced pushrods and gaskets on the engine, as well as repainted the engine & bay, all new fluids, replaced all expansion plugs with brass, which won't corrode and shouldn't ever be a problem again, brand new fuel pump, and greased every fitting on the truck.
- Also, the back window drivers side section has been replaced with plexiglass.
- The body is straight, other than a few dents inside of the bed... Some rust in the bed as well as the front passenger outer and inner fender, otherwise solid. This truck has been a west-coast truck all of its life, and therefore has never seen salty roads!
- Aftermarket radio was installed by the previous owner... kinda works, but barely, and the truck comes with a CB which works great.
- This would make a great project for someone who wants to do a little body work and paint, or just drive it as is!

Is Tesla's next project an F-150 competitor? [w/poll]
Wed, 13 Nov 2013What's the future look like for Tesla after it launches the Model X CUV and possibly a smaller, sub-Model S sedan? Would you believe a pickup truck? Yes, Tesla could be looking to use its EV know-how to take the fight to Ford and the F-150, based on comments made by company founder Elon Musk.
"If you're trying to replace the most gasoline miles driven, you have to look at what people are buying," Musk said during an impromptu Q&A session following a speech at Business Insider's Ignition conference. "[The F-150 is] the best selling car in America. If people are voting that's their car, then that's the car we have to deliver."
And while the idea of electric pickup may sound kind of absurd to some, Musk makes a very valid point - if Tesla's goal is to replace gas miles with electrical miles, it simply can't afford to ignore pickups.
Amid Mulally rumors, Bill Ford praises company's deep bench
Wed, 02 Oct 2013Bill Ford went on the offensive to combat the rumors that CEO Alan Mulally would leave Dearborn for Steve Ballmer's vacated position leading Microsoft, adding that even if the 68-year-old, former Boeing exec were to depart, the Ford executive team is in a good place.
"I'm happy [Mulally] is going to stick around. But we also feel really good about where we are in terms of succession," Ford told Bloomberg TV, according to Automotive News. Rumors first cropped up about Mulally leaving Ford when AllThingsD speculated that he was in the running, early last month. In that same report, which you can read here, Ford's board of directors reportedly okayed the CEO stepping down ahead of his planned retirement in 2014.
That opened the floodgates, culminating in a report from a few days ago that the rumors over Ballmer's successor just might be true. The story is especially troubling, as Ford hasn't had Mulally under contract, according to AN. "He's here as long as he and I would like it to happen," Ford said, "We're also cognizant of training the next generation and getting them ready to go as well."
