I have a very nice 73 F100.. Been in a barn most of its life as you can tell from the lack of cancerous holes. We have some surface rust from the last few years of me trying to build it in a spiraling economy. I would like to sell without the 472 Big Block, but hey cash talks. I ask when you bid you shoot me a message saying you want the drive train or your bid will be considered just for the truck
Shoot me a message saying you want the drive train or your bid will be considered just for the truck!
You can look at the chrome around the window, and the bottom of the doors to see this truck has not seen an abundance of moisture.
The bed does not look like "swiss cheese".
It has factory disk brakes, power steering, and air condition.
You also get a reman steering box, the wheels are new.
If you choose to buy the drive train it is a .060 over 460 with a factory ford high rise intake and a 650 spread bore holly. It has a Comp Cam 268H can and 3 exhaust and flow master delta flow mufflers.
A Cruis-a-matic C-6 and a 1000 RPM converter.
All new brakes including drums and rotors.
Diamond Tuck seat with new foam and springs.
Converted Chevy HEI for simplicity.
Reserve for the whole thing is $2500
One thing more, I am selling locally so I retain the right to cancel the auction in the case of a local sale.

Brits recreate iconic Bullitt chase scene
Tue, 13 May 2014Recreating the famous chase scene from Bullitt has become almost an art form in its own right. We've seen it done in a music video, with scale models and even in commercials. There are few films that are as defined by a single scene as the 1968 classic. Even if you don't know a single beat of the plot, the Highland Green Ford Mustang racing a Dodge Charger through the hilly streets of San Francisco is famous. It's so well known that the Silverstone Classic has created a homage to promote its celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Mustang at this year's event in July.
Filmed around the famous UK circuit, the short film generally gets the key points of the scene right. It even has a green Volkswagen Beetle that keeps reappearing, as in the movie. Unfortunately, its Steve McQueen stand-in looks a little too old for the role. While the video shortens the chase considerably, it's still great to see these '60s behemoths leaning and sliding around the track. Scroll down for a touch of nostalgia thanks to one of the greatest scenes ever in cinema - we've got both the recreation and the original chase seen from the movie waiting for you.
Ford's Galhotra succeeds Farley as head of Lincoln
Wed, 23 Jul 2014Ford Motor Company is announcing a major personnel shakeup that could have a dramatic effect on the future of the Lincoln division. Kumar Galhotra (pictured above), currently vice president of engineering at Ford for all of its vehicles worldwide, is taking over as the president of the luxury brand on September 1, replacing Jim Farley. The automaker is also hiring a new head of advanced engineering.
Galhotra has a huge job ahead of him as the new boss of Lincoln worldwide, overseeing product development, marketing, sales and service. His task is to turn the luxury division into a world-class brand as quickly as possible, and he reports directly to Ford President and CEO Mark Fields.
"These changes underscore our commitment to build on the success of our One Ford plan by accelerating our pace of progress. They also make clear we are serious about Lincoln as a world-class luxury brand and that product excellence and innovation are what will deliver growth and define our entire company going forward," said Fields in the company's announcement.
2015 Ford Mustang vs. Camaro and Challenger [w/poll]
Thu, 17 Jul 2014The horsepower wars are tightening among the Detroit Three, as the Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Camaro and Dodge Challenger are getting bigger, more powerful, and yes, more fuel efficient.
That came into sharper focus this week as more information was revealed about the most insane Challenger ever - the 707-horsepower Hellcat - followed quickly by Ford's in-depth showcase of the 2015 Mustang in Dearborn.
It's shaping up to be a golden age for enthusiasts, and what's under the hood is becoming more important than ever.
