1970 F-100 --This truck belongs to my son it was restored by him, my nephew and myself about 18 month's ago and we have put around 2,000 miles on it trouble free. There are pictures of some of the process as restoration was happening. Last summer we took it to several local shows around the state and brought back a trophy each time. I have a 1969 Bronco that I had professionally done 2 years ago. At a local car show at our Airport where there were about 50 in our class the F100 brought 2nd place and the Bronco brought 3rd. A local magazine took interest in it being a family project and put it in there next issue featuring my nephew. It has a professionally rebuilt 351 Windsor with a C4 transmission, it also has vintage air, power steering, power brakes, it has all new tires, side molding, grille, seat cover, carpet, door panels, molding on tailgate and handle, a FM converter mounted in the glove box, just too much to list. We repaired or replaced everything that was needed. I know I am leaving out some things, so please feel free to call me and I will take you from bumper to bumper and answer and questions you may have, also feel free to call and arrange to drive and see it in person. The reason for selling is that we are about to finish 2 other's and do not have a place to keep them inside. This truck has been garage kept since finished. Also will be listing a 1965 GMC we finished about six months ago, just need the room. These trucks are being sold as is no warranty. Shipping is on Buyer, we will help anyway we can. Wards names its 2015 10 Best Interiors list
Fri, Apr 17 2015Wards Automotive has named the winners of its 10 Best Interior awards, covering a wide but affordable array of vehicles. Where last year's list contained two six-figure vehicles, including the $372,800 Rolls-Royce Wraith, this year's is, well, a whole lot more reasonable. The publication lists the Mercedes-Benz C400 at $65,000 (which seems off), making it the most expensive vehicle here. That said, we'd argue that the entire C-Class line deserves to make this year's list, owing to its varied and high-quality selection of materials. The other vehicle to break the $60,000 mark, meanwhile, is the $60,675 Ford F-150 King Ranch, which has 327,000 pounds of leather lining its interior. Only one other German car, the BMW i3, and one other pickup truck, the GMC Canyon, managed to make this year's list. The Honda Fit, Jeep Renegade and Mazda6 are very reasonably priced, especially when you compare Wards price with the starting price. 2015 Gordon McCall's Motorworks Revival
Thu, Aug 13 2015Considered the big kick off of the major festivities surrounding Monterey Car Week, this year's Gordon McCall's Motorworks Revival certainly didn't disappoint. For those unable to make it to the California coast, our own Drew Phillips was on hand to snap some of the beautiful vehicles on display for this gorgeous gallery. Held annually at the Monterey Jet Center, the event is always a feast for the eyes by collecting planes, a gang of exotic supercars, and some the top cars crossing the auction block over the coming days, like a Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda convertible. The Ford GT both new and old was a major attendee at this year's party. Among them, the Petersen Museum brought along an original racecar and a GT40 MKIII to promote an upcoming exhibit. The classics were complimented by the latest version that has continued to keep tongues wagging. The GT wasn't the only classic with a modern update there. Singer used the posh event for the North American debut of its stunning restoration of the Porsche 911 Targa. Shelby American was also at the revival for the public unveiling of the 50th Anniversary Daytona Coupe. On the more modern front, Honda was in attendance with the future NSX and one of the McLaren F1 cars that the company's engine powers. For further proof of the ritzy folks that attend this soiree, Pagani and Koenigsegg both had stands to show off their extremely quick wares.
2013 North American Car and Truck/Utility of the Year finalists announced [w/poll]
Wed, 12 Dec 20122012 is almost in the books and automakers are spending December gearing up for the 2013 auto show season, which tips off next month at the Detroit Auto Show. Traditionally, the latter opens up with the announcement of the North American Car and Truck/Utility of the Year awards, and this year figures to be no different.
But up until this moment, we didn't know which six vehicles would be parked ahead of the stage as finalists, with executives and engineers waiting for the winners to be disclosed.
