1968 Ford F-100
240 inline 6 cylinder, 3 speed on the column. Short bed truck. Engine does turn over with starter, haven't gone any further yet trying to start it. Its pretty much all there, doesn't look like it has been hacked up or modified in any way. Odometer shows 38689 miles and it appears that may be actual mileage, I have no way of knowing for sure. It had been parked since 1995 based on the inspection and tags. Floor pans have some rust, front of hood, right side fender support and battery tray area all have rust. RF fender is pulled out, got caught on a tree while pulling it out. Bed is in pretty good shape, no holes rusted thru on the floor. The top of the cab has a hole drilled in it for some reason, about an inch or so. The paint looks original w/ some body work being done at some point with primer spots. The patina on this truck is unbelievable, only time can make them look this way. Truck was on its way to the scrap yard, but I found out about it before hand and saved it. I already have a couple of these trucks and don't really need another, just thought i'd save it and pass it on to someone who does want it. Below is a link to many many more pics of the truck. You should be able to get a good idea what you're working with. I have a bench seat that goes with it as shown in pics. I removed it to clean it out and get better pics. Truck is for sale as is. You WILL need a trailer and winch to get it home. It would also help if you had a set of wheels, as the tires don't hold air. Please call or email with any questions. I am located in Conover, NC about an hour north of Charlotte. 704-451-6832 |

Leno recalls '90s showdown with Tim Allen and his mullet
Wed, Oct 7 2015Not many of us have buddies with garages full of classic cars, but that isn't the case for Jay Leno and Tim Allen. Of course, one of the advantages for two guys with such vast collections is occasionally getting to pit their cars against each other. The two comedians did just that in the mid-'90s with a burnout battle on The Tonight Show between Allen in a race-prepped Mustang and Leno in a drag racer. After some time away from regular television, Leno is returning to the airwaves with a Jay Leno's Garage series premiering on Oct. 7 (tonight) at 10:00 p.m. ET on CNBC. Let this clip serve as another taste of what to expect for the new TV show's mix of comedy and cars. After reminiscing about the old days in a gorgeous garage, the comedians get into two modern machines to reprise the classic challenge – after a little trash talk anyway. Don't worry because the YouTube series isn't going anywhere, though.
Jurassic Park made a big impact on these Jeep drivers
Thu, 12 Jun 2014For a certain cohort of young folks, Jurassic Park is a touchstone film from their childhood. Not only did it play into practically every little boy's love of dinosaurs, the movie included some great action scenes and special effects that still hold up today. In its latest video, The Aficionauto takes a look the Jurassic Park Motor Pool, a California car club with over 40 fans who created replica vehicles from the iconic film.
The club is made up of an interesting cross-section of people. Many of them were Jeep Wrangler fans that already loved off-roading and Jurassic Park, and liked the idea of bringing them together. Like any close-knit club, it ends up being about community and people coming together to share their interests. It's quite a heartwarming video. Also, be sure to stay until the end because The Aficionauto teases a future Jurassic Park-themed vehicle. Scroll down to check out the motor pool.
Ford 3D-printing Mustang out of chocolate and candy for Valentine's Day
Thu, 13 Feb 2014Is your beloved in love with the new 2015 Ford Mustang? Do they like chocolate (that's a trick question - everyone likes chocolate)? Are they a bit of a futurist? Then this Hallmark holiday, you need to get them this Ford Mustang, 3D-printed in sweet, delicious chocolate.
Ford is teaming with 3D Systems' Sugar Lab in LA to produce the super-accurate pony car confections in both chocolate and sugar candy varieties. The process kicked off with a CAD rendering of the 2015 Mustang, which was then programmed into the 3D printer. After a bit of work from the machine, a four-inch long, two-inch tall Mustang was the result. Why the tieup with 3D Systems, though?
"We wanted to create something fun to show that while 3D printing made these edible Mustangs, manufacturing-level 3D printing was used in the development of Ford's all-new sports car," said Paul Susalla, Ford's supervisor of 3D printing.
