Selling a very clean 68 F100. The truck is a Minnesota truck that has never seen a winter and the previous owner had it in their family for about 38 years. This truck runs great, stays cool, and has been very reliable. I've put over 2000 miles and climbing on it this summer. It has manual brakes, and manual steering. It was originally a 6cyl. 3 spd truck. 98% rust free with a small spot on the inside of the drivers door, and the drivers floor has one spot that is soft from sand/dirt being trapped under the rubber mat.  The cab corners, supports, box etc. are in excellent condition.  I also have an extra hood(perfect) included and 4spd column as well.  Selling to find something a little more family friendly.

List of what's been done:
Fatman Mustang II IFS-Stage 2 kit
New 2 1/4" exhaust
New brake lines
New Carter electric fuel pump
New gas tank sending unit

Ford reveals new rapid prototyping and low-volume production techniques [w/video]

Mon, 08 Jul 2013

It's called "F3T," and that stands for Ford Free-form Fabrication Technology. The process that The Blue Oval has developed means being able to sidestep the weeks-long process of tool-and-die making when engineers want to construct a new part, allowing them to fabricate a three-dimensional part from a two-dimensional sheet of metal in just hours.
While F3T is being developed it is limited to "low-volume prototyping or even low-volume niche vehicles," but the next step is to evaluate it for use in Ford's global manufacturing facilities. You can find out more about it in the video and the press release below.

Are you a new Ford Mustang SVO? [w/video]

Fri, 16 May 2014

When Ford announced that its 2015 Mustang would arrive with a 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine, three letters came to mind: SVO. While Ford hasn't said a word regarding the rebirth of a Mustang SVO model, this latest set of spy shots shows us something very, very interesting. Allow us to explain.
The Mustang prototype in these photos looks very similar to the GT500 test cars we've spotted before - same bulging hood, aggressive front fascia and air vents aft of the front wheels. What's different, however, is around back. Have a look at the exhaust, and note that instead of the GT500's usual quad pipes, two of the exhaust outlets have been capped off.
Our spies point out that these exhaust outlets could be closed for some sort of emissions testing or another engineering reason, but it's also important to note that the engine and exhaust notes of this car sound completely different from earlier GT500 prototypes. We've got a video below that compares the two.
