1962 Ford F100 Long Bed Pick Up 6 Cyl Engine, Three Speed On Column Shift, runs and is driveable with normal unibody rust and missing the tailgate. I'd say the forward section of the bed is the worst of the rust. Previous owner had a repaint and the seat done years ago so looks good for a 50 year old pick-up. I wouldn't consider it a daily driver but it has started everytime i wanted to, went the direction i pointed it and stopped each time I asked it to.
I am including a complete 1961 F100 unibody to go in this auction as a parts vehicle. (tan vehicle in pictures). The vehicle does have all necessary paperwork you would want if you wanted to make it roadworthy. This vehicle does not run but has what I would guess is an early 60's model Oldsmobile Rocket V-8 and automatic transmission. Rust wise this vehicle has some but less than the blue one does. It does have some rear passenger fender damage right above the wheel but other than that the body is straight and complete.

Toyota sells six of 10 of hybrids in California
Wed, 31 Jul 2013In an apparent shot back at Ford's increasing market share of electrified vehicles and claim that it accepts more Prius trade-ins for its own hybrids than any other car, Toyota has flexed a muscle and played the numbers game to put the Blue Oval in its place.
Leaning on its hybrid market dominance in California, the Japanese automaker stated that six out of 10 hybrids sold in the Golden State are Toyota models. And it keeps coming: Year-to-date through May 2013, Toyota sold five times more hybrids than Ford. One of every two hybrids in California is a Prius model. In addition, Toyota notes that it has sold 1.5 million Prius vehicles in the US, 90-percent of which are still on the road today.
Want more? We'll let Bill Fay, Toyota's group vice president and general manager of sales lay the smack down:
Ford builds two-millionth EcoBoost engine
Tue, 17 Sep 2013Ford's EcoBoost engine lineup is only four years old, but it is growing into an important and popular global engine. As proof of its popularity, Ford just produced its 2 millionth EcoBoost engine - a 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder - which rolled off the assembly line in Louisville, Kentucky under the hood of an Escape.
Ford now offers five EcoBoost engines around the world ranging from the 1.0-liter inline-three to the twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6, and the automaker is expanding production of two of its engine lines to keep up with demand. Earlier this year, Ford announced that the 2.0-liter EcoBoost would be built in Cleveland, Ohio starting in 2014 and, more recently, Ford said that it will be doubling production of the 1.0-liter EcoBoost in Germany. That turbo-three will also be produced in China at a new Ford engine plant in Chongqing.
Scroll down for Ford's full press release on this EcoBoost production milestone, including a breakdown of where all the engines were made.
