I have a 1961 Ford F100 Unibody project up for sale. If you are looking you probably already know these were made from 1961-1963. This isn't my first Slick F100 rodeo so let me try to tell you everything I can about it and you can ask questions from there.

The important things..
*IT DOES NOT HAVE A TITLE since in Maine anything over 25years old does not get one issued but I can request one from the state of Maine if your state requires it.
*It was created as an F100 (5lug) but the PO in Idaho changed it to an 8lug set up.
*It was on the road in 2006/7 in Idaho, bought off ebay by PO and shipped to Connecticut where it sat for almost 4 years,I bought it and had it shipped to Maine.
*The front clip is off and disassembled so you can see everything, fenders are pretty good, inner fenders are great, core support is new FOMOCO, and it has a tailgate!

Details:
*292 V8 (turns freely but does not fire)Oil pressure is up on gauge, dist turns and fan turns with the key, just no fire
*4sp manual
*rear end is a Chevy/Eaton HO52 8 lug with a bunch of springs
*front end is a solid axle 1955-1959 series 2 chevy (probably from the same as the rear 3/4 chevy)
*has rust on the floorboards, and on the inside cab wall where the wall/kick panel meets the cab mount (see pics)
*had rust at the roof line but I cut that out and welded in sheet metal before the winter came
*sweet chrome grill and chrome headlight buckets
*comes with new ford core support (see pics), new front sill, new inner fender
*comes with lots and lots of parts- 3 bins worth.
*I have already painted the following
*hood latch support bars, hood latch, and catch
*vent doors (air cables both work smooth)
*heater box (heater core was check out by shop near me and repaired)
*new shock towers (if you want to switch back to 5lug you will want these new ones
*mirror, visors, hood springs, and battery tray
     *hood spears and emblems
     *boiled gas tank and painted

As you can see from the photos it is a project, you will want a new hood and a radiator. I can provide the old ones for measurement, but you will want new. The bed is in really good shape at the front where it meets the back of the cab. The torque boxes are in great shape, no holes in them and no holes at the side of the bed that I can find. It will need floor pans, and work on the tailgate. It will also need work on the roof line to make it right, I did it fast to get them covered for the winter as there were huge holes.

*Other goodies include a set of 1968 Mustang bucket seats and 2 new sets of seat tracks, all you need is the Ranger mounting brackets (available in the after market...I'll tell you where)

Please ask if you have questions, all shipping is to be done by the buyer but I can suggest one that I have used in the past

finally, there are 151 photos on another site where you put "photos in a bucket"

Ford only automaker to make 2012 Buzz Rankings, Toyota most improved

Wed, 30 Jan 2013

Ford landed itself a spot among the top 10 brands in the 2012 Buzz Rankings. The annual index scores 1,100 brands in 41 categories to determine which nameplates had the most positive buzz throughout the year.
For the third year in a row, Subway took the top honors overall with a score of 40.3, and Ford was the only automaker to break into the top 25 by earning a sixth-place finish overall. The manufacturer earned a score of 32.1 points, which was enough to push it up one spot from the 2011 Buzz Rankings. Honda managed 21.2 points overall, which is still well behind 25th-place Kohl's at 26.5 points. Toyota, Volkswagen and BMW all round out the top five automakers.
The 2012 Buzz Rankings also keep track of which brands improved the most over the past year, and this year, Toyota was the manufacturer with the largest leap forward. The Japanese automaker jumped from just 14 points in 2011 to 20.5 in 2012. Chrysler, Kia, Dodge and Volkswagen all saw sizable steps forward as well. Be sure to head over to the Brand Index site for more information.

Texas plumber shocked his old Ford F-250 is now in terrorists' hands [w/video]

Thu, Dec 18 2014

Do you ever wonder what the a owner is doing with your vehicle after you trade it in? Mark Oberholtzer of Mark-1 Plumbing in Texas City, TX, has no need to imagine, but it's probably his worst nightmare. That's because an image of his old Ford F-250 is now on Twitter as a gun platform in the Syrian Civil War. While the image only appeared recently, Oberholtzer traded the truck in last November. Somehow since then the F-250 made its way from Texas to Syria. According to a report from television station WHOU, the dealer that took the trade said the pickup immediately went to auction. Unfortunately, along the whole route no one ever took Mark-1 Plumbing's name and phone number off the door. So when the image went up on Twitter, everyone knew whom the Ford previously belonged to. The plumbing company makes it abundantly clear that this whole bizarre situation is simply a coincidence, and it has absolutely no ties to the conflict in Syria. However, that isn't preventing people from phoning the business with angry calls and threats. Things are so bad that Oberholtzer keeps the phones unplugged for relief. Scroll down to watch a video of the guy's flabbergasted reaction to finding out what his F-250 is doing now. This content is hosted by a third party. TX officer allegedly lets 140-mph street racer go with a warning [w/poll]

Tue, 26 Aug 2014

Being pulled over by the police is one of the most nerve-racking situations that a driver can go through, and it's even worse when you know that the officer has you dead to rights for speeding well over the posted limit. In this video, the driver of a heavily modified Ford Mustang with a claimed 966 horsepower at the rear wheels could have easily lost his ride for doing triple-digit speeds and street racing, but a friendly Texas police officer appears to send him on his way with a simple warning.
What's more, the driver in question wasn't just speeding - his Mustang was the camera car for a bunch of rolling street races in the wee hours of the morning on a Texas highway. The driver was more than willing to mix it up in the action, too. Eventually the cops catch on and pick the 'Stang to pull over, but not before the Ford owner runs a claimed 140 mph. With only audio to go on after the car is pulled over, the police officer seems incredibly nonchalant about catching someone who was so brazenly breaking the law. Incredibly, the patrolman actually tells the driver that he's seen everyone racing tonight but ignored them. With traffic picking up, the cop says that it's time to "cut it out" and go home for the night. As far as this video shows, that was the end of it.
Warning: There is explicit, not-safe-for-work language in the video below.
