This is the nicest riding driving truck I have driven in a long time. The time to move on to the next project has caught my eye. This came out of a private collection and has always been taken care of. Wine country truck no salt roads and less than 20K Miles on rebuild Paint is strong and very bright.
The tires are brand new, Brakes and entire truck is running and driving exceptional.
All the electrics work, indicators, headlights, brake lights, high beams, low beams, gauges all work gas gauge is dead nuts on, dash lights cabin lights........ No issues TURN KEY CONDITION, and it would drive anywhere. The 290 is very strong, it has no issues. The stock radio does not work but it is the factory motorola transistor. It has the stock floor mat that is in really great shape. The truck came from Nor Cal and is very dry. The under carriage has a rusty discoloration but no rust or cancer anywhere. the floors and bed are very clean and solid. I was going to have it under coated and Por-15 at a local shop and they were going to pull the bed off and do it frame and bed for 1300.00. I can pass along the information to the winning bidder. This is a great truck to take out to Home Depot or Lowes on a weekend, Grocery getter , to a quite date some where special. This truck Presents VERY WELL AND STRONG..... Ford Transit Skyliner Concept is a Gulfstream for the road
Sat, 12 Apr 2014If you are afraid to fly or just want to arrive at your ultimate destination in absolute comfort, then the Ford Transit Skyliner concept might be the perfect vehicle for you. Built by Galpin Auto Sports and based on a 2015 Transit, the van is basically a private jet on wheels. It even has a touch of Transformers about it with the ability to switch between four modes by pressing a button in a smartphone app.
Based on the long wheelbase, high-roof model with 487 cubic feet of cargo space and 6 feet, 9.5 inches of interior height, the Skyliner has movable captains chairs that shift around among four modes. In theater mode, the seats turn and recline to face a 52-inch retractable movie screen with 7.2 surround sound. For business, a motorized table unfolds, and the chairs gather around it. There is a mode for tailgating where the door opens four-feet wide, and, when traveling, passengers can recline back with footrests that extend for maximum comfort.
To make the ride even plusher, there is a satellite and media server to meet your entertainment needs, and there is even a built-in bar in the back. If this Ford had a bathroom, you could live in it. Of course, you would need to hire a driver to enjoy all the amenities in the back.
New 2020 Ford Explorer, Lincoln Aviator recalled for minor safety issues
Wed, Aug 7 2019Ford has announced a small recall on 2020 Explorers and 2020 Lincoln Aviators. Select units might be missing a manual park release cover, while others might have instrument clusters stuck in Factory Mode. The recall affects 14,135 SUVs in total. While a vehicle is in production in a manufacturing facility, Ford might put them in what is known as Factory Mode to help reduce battery drain. Affecting the instrument cluster, this mode disables warning alerts, warning chimes, and does not show the PRNDL gear selector display. Ford says one vehicle was in an accident at a production facility as a result of the issue, but nobody was injured. Separately, Ford found that some of these Explorers and Aviators might be lacking a manual park release cover. Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards require a manual park release cover that is only removable with a tool. Without the cover, there is a very minor chance the manual park release could be accidentally actuated, which could allow the vehicle to move on its own. The recalls affect 13,896 vehicles in the U.S. and 239 in Canada. The Explorers were built between March 27, 2019, and July 24, 2019. The Aviators were built between April 10, 2019, and July 24, 2019. Owners can use Ford's recall number 19C06, and if affected, can take their vehicles in for fixes.
