1957 F 100 Custom Cab big back window. Drivers window has cracks (See in pics) Have passager glass window that will come with it. Odometer reads 77189 but sure its been around the clock least once. Has 292 motor, Starts right up, Im sure carb will need to be rebuilt. Has granny 4 speed transmission, Truck is all stock except for dana 44 rearend instead of the 9 inch. It does not have brakes, probaly needs new master cyclinder. Headlights work. Driver door missing arm rest and knobs. Has 58 hood emblems on it. Also someone has drilled 4 small holes in the hood for possible scoop. (See in pics) Has 4 15 inch chrome steel rims. Has 59 front fenders on it. Doesnt have turn signals in front. Dash has been cut for after market radio. (See in pics). Grille has a few dings. Floor boards are very solid, rear cab corners have some rust (See in pics). Seat is complete but torn. This is a very nice 1957 truck. I had plans to restore but the way it looks decieded that it looks great the way it sits. Any questions please ask. Dave 530-210-4271. Toyota again claims Corolla outsold Focus worldwide

Toyota isn't convinced the Ford Focus was the best-selling nameplate globally last year. Bloomberg reports that for the second time in seven months, both Toyota and Ford are laying claim to the title. Ford cites R.L. Polk & Co. data that says the automaker moved some 1.02 million Focus models in 2012 compared to just 872,774 Toyota Corolla units. But Toyota says the actual figure is closer to 1.16 million Corolla models.
Last year, Ford said it took the sales crown through the fist half of 2012 based on information from IHS Automotive, but Toyota pointed out those numbers left out models like the Corolla-based Matrix and Auris, as well as the Corolla Fielder and Scion xB-based Corolla Rumion. Whether or not Toyota's belief that all these cars should be counted in the Corolla bucket is accurate or not is seemingly up for debate... as is the question of why it matters so much to both parties.
This time around, Ford is holding the line that the Focus is the "best-selling nameplate," with Erich Merkle, a US sales analyst with Ford saying the company's figure is, "a pure number that is verified by a third party." Toyota, meanwhile, has requested clarification from Polk.

First 1K next-gen Mustangs to carry 2014 1/2 model year?

A new report from Mustangs Daily, citing insider sources at Ford, tells us that the Blue Oval will produce 1,000 next-generation Mustangs with the model year designation of 2014 ½, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the storied marque. The commemorative half-year designation is a rumor that's been swirling in Mustang forums for quite some time now, and seems more plausible than ever with this most recent report. Certainly it's not far-fetched to believe that Ford will want to make a big deal of the golden anniversary for its most-loved model.
The story (compiled by Drew Phillips, who runs the aforementioned Mustang site when he's not directing the photography on these pages) goes on to say that the limited-run cars will be the first built on the new Mustang platform internally known as S550 (and spied testing in the attached gallery). Each car is said to carry a "special" VIN and build number, though no performance upgrades versus the 2015 cars to follow are in the works. A collector's dream then, rather than a weekend racer's.
