Hello, I found this truck down in Clear Lake, California, The Owner has had it for over 30 years and sold it to me, He said it was a 1956 Ford F100 and that was on the old title, but the Vin number on the truck says its a 1955, but I did find out that Ford did sell some 1955 body styles in early 1956, the Vin also shows it was manufactured in San Jose, Calif. and only 1956 Models were sold there. He tried to find the Title but could not, but he filled out the DMV Title Lost Paperwork so Title can be had, I have taken lots of pictures of the old truck so you can see what is needed to restore it, he said it ran when it was parked, but that was then, it will need to have the carburator rebuilt and or cleaned and lubed and a new battery and have the gas tank cleaned for sure. Front Windshield and rear glass are good needs door glass. The Vin Tag I took and scanned it so you can tell it originally had a 6 cylinder motor in it, now it has a 426 Mopar Motor in it, that is what the old guy that sold it to me said, I thought all Mopar engines were Hemi's, ? Maybe not, anyway its got a great big engine in it and the old guy said it was fast, Smile. This truck will need alot cleanup and the rust is mostly surface rust but there is a small amount of cancer in the lower part of the passenger door which will need fixed, The truck must be picked up within 30 days of the auctions close date, and balance to be paid within 7 days by Bank Transfer, I will send you my bank information after the deposit is received, Anyway I am selling it, if you like what you see Buy It Now, if not make me an offer, My name is Alan and I live in Weed, California my phone number is 1 530 938 4232

Latest Forza Horizon 3 car pack features a Skyline and a fast Swedish wagon
Tue, Jan 3 2017The steady stream of Forza Horizon 3 car packs shows no signs of slowing down, and the latest Rockstar Energy Drink pack includes enthusiast favorites such as the R31 Skyline and the Volvo V60 Polestar. The car pack also features a couple of sporty two-doors and some off-road oriented machines. Luxury-minded players will be pleased to see both the Bentley Bentayga and BMW i8 make an appearance. People more concerned with ultimate performance will have a different pair to consider. Ford to add Android Auto and CarPlay to 2016 SYNC 3 cars via update
Fri, May 19 2017Ford is updating a large number of 2016 model year cars equipped with SYNC 3 infotainment software, adding Android Auto and CarPlay to the vehicles with a free, over-the-air update via Wi-Fi, or using either USB or going through their dealer. The upgrade will be available for around 800,000 vehicles in total, giving a huge number of Ford car owners the chance to get big infotainment improvements without having to buy a newer model car. The OTA update option is also a big step for Ford – it's the company's first for software ever, and it's one of the major reasons that Ford recently hired around 400 new mobile smartphone engineers, the company tells me. For CarPlay, users will still also need to upgrade their vehicle's USB hub to make this work (which will also incur a dealer visit and a cost), but for those on Android, all that's required is a simple software installation. The USB install method is also faster, but the Wi-Fi update option is the start of the company's efforts to really increase its OTA update program, which will be used for security improvements as well as infotainment bumps. Even with a dealer visit and hardware upgrade for CarPlay, this sounds like a worthwhile thing for 2016 vehicle owners to do. CarPlay and Android Auto are huge upgrades vs. most in-car software, offering navigation and entertainment options that follow you from your phone to your car. Retroactively offering this kind of thing to car owners is a definite change in tone for carmakers, since they typically use these kinds of things as incentives to get people interested in vehicle model updates.
