1954 Ford F100 239 Y Block Overdrive on 2040-cars

This is an original truck that runs and drives great. The only parts that have been replaced are the battery box, front bed sill and bed wood. (The box and sill came from Dennis Carpenter Truck Parts) It is the first year of the 239 Y block V8 and it has the factory overdrive transmission. The truck was purchased from the previous owner’s widow and had been sitting in a barn for approximately a year and a half. It was Virginia state-inspected in 9/2012 and the owner passed away the following month. He repainted the truck factory green in the 70’s with a brush. There is very little rust in the truck.
