This here is a 2002 ford explorer red 4x4, it has cloth grey interior, NO THIRD ROW. I just purchased a van that holds 8 passengers so I have no need for this nice explorer. I'll start off with some of the flaws of this car. The car has a few scratches on the hood, I have a close up picture of it. There are some parts where the clear coat is starting to peal off, once again they're on the picture. Under the passenger rear door there is a scratch-dent. The front passenger door and fender were painted last year on a fender bender, you might notice the difference in the paint but barely noticeable. That's probably all I can list on the flaws.
This explorer runs and drives without any problems. The 2 front tires were replace 3 months ago, the rears are still pretty good. It just pasted nys inspection a couple of months ago. The a/c in this car is ice cold, the heat is very hot. I will have the car detailed inside so you can have a nice clean car. The spare is still brand new, never been touched. That's pretty much what I can say about this explorer.

Four Wheeler crowns Ultimate Factory 4x4... who wins?
Thu, 15 Nov 2012Nearly every automaker doing business in the SUV or pickup truck segments offers a package designed to improve the off-road capabilities of its wares. But, of course, not all such factory kits are created equal. How, then, to separate the wheat from the chaff? Gather each of them up and put them through their paces, naturally.
The folks from Four Wheeler and PickupTrucks.com joined forces to run just such a comparison test, with the winner named the Ultimate Factory 4x4. A total of seven vehicles showed up to the fight: the 2012 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor, 2013 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, 2012 Nissan Frontier PRO-4X and Xterra PRO-4X, 2012 Ram Power Wagon, and 2012 Toyota 4Runner Trail and Tacoma TRD T|X Baja Series.
With the contestants in place, the whole crew put each vehicle through a battery of tests that included skidpad and acceleration measurements, a hillclimb, a rocky stairstep course and a rock garden. Considering the nature of the beasts, on-road ride and comfort were not part of the routine.
Ford 1.0L takes third-straight International Engine of the Year award
Thu, 26 Jun 2014Ford's 1.0-liter EcoBoost is proving to be The Little Engine That Could, and it continues to acquit itself well, finding favor as one of the best powerplants in the world. To confirm it yet again, the tiny mill just won the International Engine of the Year award for the third year in a row, likewise also nabbing the title in the Sub 1.0-liter category.
Packing 123 horsepower and 148 pound-feet of torque with overboost (125 lb-ft normally), the tiny engine combines impressive power in a size small enough to be a carry-on item for a commercial flight. US buyers only got a taste of the award winner in the 2014 Fiesta, while the 1.0 EcoBoost has been available throughout the Ford lineup in Europe for a few years now. American sales have reportedly been strong, however, and next up in the US, the mill will find its way into the 2015 Focus.
The panel of 82 jury members from 34 countries also named the Mercedes-AMG 2.0-liter turbo found in the A45, CLA45 and GLA45 AMG models with 355 hp and 332 lb-ft as the best New Engine for 2014. The electric powertrain from Tesla won Green Engine prize, and the 4.5-liter V8 from the Ferrari 458 Italia took home the honor of top Performance Engine yet again. Mustang Cobra Jet prototype garners $200k for charity at Barrett-Jackson
Wed, 02 Oct 2013A few weeks ago we brought you news of a one-off Mustang Cobra Jet that Ford was donating to charity. The car was set to be auctioned off by Barrett-Jackson in Las Vegas to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Now that auction has taken place, bringing in an impressive $200,000 for MS research.
That's a lot of zeros for a Mustang, much less one you can't even drive on the street. But the unique pony car, bearing serial number 2014 BJMS CJXX1, packs a 5.0-liter supercharged V8, competition gearbox, wheelie bar, roll cage... all you could want, in short, in a turn-key drag racer. And all that for a good cause.
