I take ebay seriously an have listed this on eBay with confidence that my eBay rating history assures that I am selling a as described Explorer without any hidden engine transmission or running problems or issues.  This is a great little truck I really would keep but I need something a little bigger for work.

I am the 2nd Owner, Original miles, Carfax certified (can show you the Carfax or check yourself), no accidents or damage ever, 2nd owner - has the highest carfax rating. It looks runs and drives great.

Completely original 1993 Ford Explorer Sport XLT 4X4, 57,1xx miles - I drive it daily now about 300 miles a week. Clean inside and out as to be expected but it is 20 years old. No rust anywhere ever - never driven in winter salt until this January.  I mean NO RUST... not surface rust, not little bubbles, no where underneath or on the body is there rust or beginnigs of rust.  Original Black Cherry/metallic deep purple paint - it is original paint and it has a few scratches, the worst is on passenger door but still not seen easily in pictures and still looks great. Hood has paint fading thats it. Interior is clean. Radio, Heat, Lights, blinkers, Power Windows, Locks, mirrors all work as they should. Suspension does not "sag" in the rear as most Sports do with 100,000+ miles. This one sits level even when loaded up with gear.

The 5-speed manual v6 gets good mpg about 22 city-27 hwy. Runs smooth an quiet. No vibrations or leaks. 4x4 works without a problem. Plugs wires ect, recently had brakes done. oil about 1500 miles ago. Tires are all newer: 2 Tires were new in December and have about 5k miles put on them. Two are new a year ago and have about 8k miles put on them. 4 brand new shocks have just been installed.  Reliable & dependable for everyday and long distance use. Great little 4x4. Its small and easy and fun to drive. It is my everyday vehicle but I need something larger.

The faults are - 2 small holes in driver seat - holes not from wear and tear - fabric is not worn, rear wiper does not work, center armrest is broken, stone chips in windshield - not a giant cracks just chips. I will add anything else I think or notice.

Sorry it is a little dirty in the pictures.  Wednesday morning I will completely clean it inside and out - underneath and all.

Title is signed proper and notarized for states that require notary authentication. Original Explorer owners manual included, Spare tire, jack and equipment is there.

To put my money where my mouth is...and I will even offer drive it any distance (in USA) to the highest bidders location for the cost of gas/hotel and my plane ticket home.  Payment by bank transfer required before I hit the road. Anything breaks along the way, its on my bill to fix it.

Payment and shipping:
NO RESERVE, highest bidder gets it.   I prefer that the winning bidder come and pick it up wenesday after the auction ends at NOON Michigan time or by Saturday and pay cash in full at pick up.

2015 Ford Mustang [w/videos]

Thu, 05 Dec 2013

It'd be unwise to bet against the sixth generation of this legendary nameplate.
The 2015 Ford Mustang is assuredly the most anticipated new vehicle of the year. The redesigned Pony Car has been the subject of frantic gossiping and covert spy photos covering everything from the way it looks to the tech it will include, its performance, mechanicals and a bevy of other aspects of Ford's performance icon.

How Ford hid the 2015 Mustang from spy photographers

Fri, 20 Dec 2013

Now that we've finally seen the 2015 Ford Mustang, it's fun to go back and look at the spy shots we spent months pouring over, trying to dissect what was under all the camouflage. For the most part, Ford did a good job of concealing the car from spy photographers, and it released a video showing how much work went into doing so.
As crude as the Mustang's camo looked, all of the hard plastic, foam, vinyl and ratchet straps were actually created and put in place by a specific design team. The whole idea was to hide the car's identity, but it certainly ended up acting as a magnet for attention, too. According to Ford's press release, it took less than an hour for spy shots to appear online after the car was taken on public roads for the very first time - this is likely in reference to our first official spy shots of the Mustang from June, shown in the gallery below.
Scroll down for a press release and video, which shows footage of the 2015 Ford Mustang testing with minimal camouflage. This is probably the same track session where we got our first look at the Mustang's face back in August.

Ford talking unibody Ranger replacement

Mon, 18 Feb 2013

Now here's some welcome news. Car and Driver reports Ford is seriously mulling a replacement for the recently deceased Ranger, but the successor to the compact pickup's throne may not look anything like what we've seen from the nameplate in the past.
While speaking at the 2013 Chicago Auto Show, Doug Scott, marketing manager for Ford Trucks, said there's still a market for a smaller pickup, but that buyers expect to see a larger differentiation between the smaller utility vehicles and their full size counterparts in price, capability and fuel economy.
According to Scott, that means a vehicle with a payload capacity of around 1,000 pounds paired with a towing capacity of 3,000 pounds and "a dramatic reduction in fuel consumption." But the biggest piece of that recipe is the price tag, and Scott says to keep the MSRP far enough away from the already cheap F-150, the answer could come in the form of a unibody design. Scott says target customers in this market don't care whether the truck has a traditional frame or not, so long as it's tough enough to do the job and has the capability they need.
